Maybe some sort of conflict that’s related to something that happens while Diggle’s GA since it seems likely Oliver’s back as GA full-time by the MSF? So that combined with whatever happens with Dinah could lead to team problems if people start taking sides.

I’m expecting Dinah/Vigilante (who may or may not be her dead BF). If he’s not the dead BF, I wouldn’t be surprised if the dead BF shows up at some point. Gotta have relationship drama. I wouldn’t mind Dinah/Lance (though they seem to be pushing the whole “paternal” thing in interviews, so it probably won’t happen) or Dinah/Rene.

If they didn’t have Curtis doing things Felicity has done/should be doing with the team and correcting/helping her (especially when I don’t think we’ve seen her help/correct him that I can remember), I would probably be 100% for them working together outside of the team. Instead, now I’m wondering if that “Mr. Terrific and Overwatch”/“Overwatch and Mr. Terrific” is foreshadowing them naming a company, i.e., whose name is going to go first/who’s going to be considered more important?

I’m not that big a fan of Dinah’s pose in the photo, but at least she doesn’t look bored like Curtis. Though that may be because of his mask. It looks so bad in photos. And who knows what Rene is doing behind that mask. Though it is the best identity concealment out of all their masks. You’d have to match his eyes to ID him.

First of all, I expect the next set of interviews to be with DR. Please. No more from JH. I generally like her, I do, but I've just had enough of anything BC/BS-related. Also, do we think that Oliver's just going to tell William he's going on a quick vacation with his friend when Slade enlists his help in 605 considering what he's going to do is probably a lot more dangerous than going out with a team as GA? Or maybe he'll just say he has to go out of town on business as mayor. Whatever it is, he's probably going to lie, right?

I guess Star City and the FBI will just forget Spartan existed? Or just assume, "Well something must have happened to Spartan. It can't be that they changed up the Green Arrow, despite all the obvious evidence they did."
-
Yep. And I think it's that I expected more after comments from the press? Plus, it started with the whole hype about the name drop, then they released that as a sneak peek and it wasn't all that exciting to me, so going into the episode, I was sort of already disappointed?

Shh, stop trying to think logically. They mentioned Samantha's parents in 601. That was just...yesterday since 602 picked up the next day? How could they remember those parents exist? No, but really, I have no idea what they're doing with Oliver and William. It's like they were frozen in time for 5 months, then season 6 started, they needed the whole "bad man" thing in 601, then wanted Oliver to have a reason to hand the GA mantle over to Diggle in 602, so they conveniently forgot that other family members (like Samantha's parents, Diggle's wife and son) exist so we'd get that end scene.

I think there’s a difference between Diggle being out there as GA and as Spartan in terms of risk. GA is sort of the face of the team, the focus. After all, even though they acknowledge the whole team can be outed, the focus is on GA right now. So the same can be said for GA in general - with all aspects: in the field, with criminals, with law enforcement, risks, etc. - compared to Spartan.

Yeah. Felicity and Diggle can apparently only talk off-screen. Ugh. I’m so annoyed by that.

So I'm guessing they "pull the trigger on the full-fledged back-together let's-go-for-it" next week? I mean, just look at the photos.

Disappointed. Very disappointed in this episode. Too much Diggle/Dinah and Felicity/Curtis. But it's totally okay to just tell us that Felicity and Diggle talked instead of showing that conversation? Or any conversation between the two. I find it surprising that Felicity doesn't know what's going on with Diggle since she couldn't have been that far from him on the island when the bombs went off. Just give me an on-screen Felicity/Diggle conversation. Oh, and don't even get me started on Curtis' new job, Felicity's reaction, Curtis' reaction to that and then her asking him to work with her. Right now I'm too annoyed to properly react. I'm still not a fan of the William storyline, but it's not the worst thing on the show right now, so there's that. I do think that they expected me to feel more watching father and son play a video game together, but why does it seem like every episode is going to be conflict-"I'm your father" declaration-olive branch (sports game/video game/etc.)? I'm liking the FBI agent so far, but I am a bit iffy about the storyline. I get where Oliver was coming from in that last conversation, but at the same time, it felt like he was basically going, "I am the Green Arrow. You're totally right. But don't you dare come near my son. And haha, joke's on you, look what's on the news right now, so convenient, right?" And Oliver is an idiot asking Diggle to be the GA. "I can't be the Green Arrow because I can't risk my son losing his father, but your son doesn't really matter, even though with your wife the director of a secret agency, she's also risking her life, so why not have you risk your life even more than you already are? Sound good? Great." Please let someone bring that up in a future episode. Or something. Just... acknowledge it, show. Please. I love Anatoly. I will probably always love Anatoly. Why can't we have him in Star City permanently and ship Dinah and Curtis off overseas? I'm all for that.

...Did Oliver forget about Diggle's family?
-
Oh, good, Felicity and Diggle talked ... off-screen.
-
And another Diggle/Dinah scene? Ugh.
-
NO. Send Curtis away to another city instead?
-
Seriously? Another Felicity/Curtis scene?
-
Of course. And then he'll invent something that will win over William and all of William's bullies. And the FBI agent. I may be bitter about all the Curtis we're getting. Very bitter.
-
I expected so much more from this episode. Disappointed.
-
You know, I'm assuming that we're never going to see Raisa on-screen again.
-
I don't entirely hate that Oliver's talking to Rene about this, but between this scene and the one in the premiere with Slade... Can we please get Oliver talking to Felicity or Diggle about William?
-
Free Felicity from Curtis. And the bunker.

Poor Diggle. Please let him talk to Oliver and/or Felicity SOON.
-
Why didn't they just say Chase targeted Samantha because he had a grudge against the Mayor and found out about William?
-
I feel like pretty much everything we got from Curtis in that scene we should have gotten from Felicity.
