Shh, never happened. Doesn't fit with the story they're trying to tell of Mysons. You know, it could be worse. They could be trying to sell that the power of Mysons' existences changed Slade.

Well, I suppose it could be worse. Diggle could have shown up dressed as the Green Arrow to the crime scene. Would have loved to see Dinah try to explain that one. And ooh, looking forward to the Felicity/FBI agent scene.

So about that FBI surveillance... It's not like the mayor can just leave town for a few days without explaining where he's going, and you'd think that an FBI agent investigating him would check his story out, so I wonder if this comes into play with whatever's going on with Oliver and the FBI in episode 7?

Ugh. Sometimes (and by this, I mean very, very often) I wish we could erase that episode from existence.

I do wonder if they're going to have Thea and Lance take sides (I'm assuming OTA's), but maybe I should instead be wondering if Thea's even going to be in those episodes. Also, I just saw that SA was asked about Black Siren, and I'm just amused every time I read his response to questions about her now. The same thing, over and over. Obviously not what people want to hear.

Wow. I can't believe we're getting what we wanted. Does this mean OTA scenes coming up before the end of the season? Fewer Dinah/Diggle scenes?

The Felicity/Ralph exchange leaked last week was cut from the episode, right?

I had sort of high hopes for this episode. But I just really don't like how they write Felicity in these mini-crossovers. Harry's still my favorite Harrison Wells. And I feel like maybe they should have had Iris and Caitlin make plans to hang out at the end of this episode, then in the next episode, have Iris ask her to be her maid of honor since they were so determined to have that. I could understand not waiting until episode 7 since they are actually planning the wedding for episode 8, but come on. They went from "we're just work friends" to "you came and saved us so we're not just work friends and you should totally be my maid of honor" in what, a couple hours?

I feel like it might be a bit of both of this? Which would make sense, given S6 Oliver.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to watch some of S5 without the live thread. While I'm the least excited about an episode that I've been so far this season this week, I do have some hopes for it and next week's Slade hours. Maybe they'll address the fact that Slade left everyone behind on the island since he's in the episode; maybe they've been waiting for him to appear to do so, while 601 was all about Oliver and William when Slade showed up at the hospital. Maybe they'll address the whole "mirakuru made him do it" and if there was a therapist he saw once a week while in ARGUS custody on the island (I'm mostly kidding about that). Maybe we'll actually get that talk Oliver and Felicity said they'd have about Slade on the island (or we'll find out it was off-screen and that's what MG's book is for.) Maybe I won't be disappointed by how the Vigilante storyline begins to play out after they made us wait an entire year, gave us quotes about how we'd totally recognize him and then seemed to cast a whole new actor in the role and ... Nope, that's probably going to disappoint me. But maybe I won't hate the Diggle/Dinah scene so much? (Nope, I'll probably still be annoyed.) Well, at least we have 607 to look forward to after the Slade episodes.

FYI, there was a promo for the crossover during tonight's Supergirl. I have no idea what was in it because I only looked up when I heard "Crisis on Earth-X" at the end, but I think it was pretty short.
