Yeah they’re turning her into a caricature. I think I was over her when she was yelling at her husband in front of her daughter in the hospital bed. That was over the top even for a character like Renata.

Mary Louise is intolerable because she is one of those not my son mothers. Her son was garbage and no matter what Celeste tells her it’s going to be everyone else who is the bad guy.
Poor Ziggy. How do you introduce him to his brothers? “Hey Ziggy remember last year when your life was shit because you were being blamed for choking your classmate? Guess what the one who really did it is your brother. Isn’t that awesome??” Jeez and with how those boys are at each other’s throats I feel bad for him.

Carter was on a very short list of people that Benton showed any kind of tenderness to - the rest were his family - his mom, sister and son. How can you not love these two?

It was pure defense of Celeste. He was kicking her while she was down and the other women weren’t able to get him off. What Bonnie did was the only way to get him to stop.
Bonnie has nothing to feel guilty about. It sucks that the lie is what is eating at her.

I couldn’t get over that Carter was with Kem for a few years and when we saw them in the last episode they were in the same bad place. I hate the idea that Carter fought to be with her just to have spent those years banging his head against a wall. The writers could have done better by him. The best thing was him chipping in with the trauma and hopefully missing calling her.

Mark’s storyline where he took care of his father was an absolutely beautiful story. It was so well done. The use of Simon and Garfunkel, the scene on the lake, cleaning his father after he wet himself - beautiful.

Just brilliant TV. Seeing how the truth tellers were shut down - well done to the ones who made sure their story was told.

But watching those poor firefighter guys melting alive in the hospital, I kept wishing someone would just do the humane thing. I can't imagine having to stand by and let them die so painfully, so slowly. Those poor nurses and doctors. I bet they all had PTSD so bad afterwards.
I thought the same thing. I can’t help thinking in that horrible situation that those animals were the lucky ones.

I mean imagine Hopper eyeing Nancy like that. Would it be funny then?

I don't think they're going to end with them getting together. I think they were potentially laying the groundwork should this series be a roaring success and "limited series" turned into "regular series." Of course, with the ratings it's getting, that's not happening.
I think something is going to happen between them before this season is over. They set it up with these last 2 episodes with Daniel finding the photos with Harrison and another guy, Jira saying he needs more in his life than worrying about her and Liam telling him why he and his boyfriend broke up. I see something happening and Daniel beating himself up with guilt.
The 2 things that make me like this show is Liam/Daniel and Jira’s little club. I love her friends.
It’s a shame this isn’t doing well ratings wise. I wonder if it would have benefited better on something like Netflix. Putting it up against American Idol and GOT wasn’t the best decision.

There was a scene where she received a call from the adoption agency. We then got the scene with Daniel and Jira. I think she initially said no then changed her mind after the gala.

The Comcast guide has them listed. The one episode that’s not listed and surprises me is Exodus. That is probably my favorite Carter episode. It’s also one of the best Carter episodes period.

It sounds like fame went to his head. It would be easy to say he was a dick but it seems he had some growing up to do and it says a lot about him that he would admit something that doesn’t put him in a positive light. Shows that it’s something he really regrets.

One of AJ’s best scenes was with Elizabeth outside of Nic’s hospital room. It was just a nice scene that could have led to a really nice story but nope. AJ can’t be part of anything good.
AJ is the epitome of not being able to have nice things.

I will never not be sad that they squandered the story potential of having a competent AJ on the canvas. When SK returned, after the stupid fat jokes and panic attacks, I felt like the character could be moving forward. He developed a relationship with Michael and had started something with Elizabeth until they blew that up. Think what possibilities there would have been if Drew (as Jason) formed a real brotherly relationship with AJ. When Jason finally came back, you could have had Drew/AJ on one side and Sonny/Jason on the other.
His return in the beginning was so freaking good. The way they blew it up still pisses me off.
But hey at least you get the 50th year of Sonny and....Franco.
Its sad that the actors who played AJ cared way more about him then the writers ever did.

The only time I liked Abby and MT as Abby was season 6. After that it went downhill in season 7 and she eventually became unbearable. On rewatch there was a scene after she became a doctor where MT literally had Abby’s nose in the air. So even on rewatching I haven’t warmed up to her and still won’t watch seasons 12-15 all the way through.
I really like MT in The Affair but she was a reason I checked out of ER once NW left.

I think it would have been better if Carter and Abby stayed friends and they tried a relationship between Deb and Carter. The triangle between Carter/Abby/Luka sucked the life out of the show. A possible Carter/Deb relationship wouldn’t have had that problem.

Whatever her reason this show is beyond its sell by date so she has the right idea to get out of dodge. I think it’s nuts that they are going to do more seasons.

The very first time I drove through, I didn't know it was all COS -- I thought it was just the hotel and Flag and I wondered why it was so deserted. The streets are very clean and the COS buildings are very well kept -- if you didn't know it was all COS, you would wonder where everyone was. Its more that the parking spots along the street are mostly empty (like, one car on the block-length line of parking spots) and very few to no people walking around.
Its a little town -- you would imagine there would be people strolling those streets. But . . . they aren't. Its just feels . . .weird.
I've only seen the SeaOrgs walking from the shuttle busses to Flag or over to the hotel. They don't go off that block.Sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone.
