  1. I think she's interrupted while saying "Hana" once, and it kind of stuck.
  2. I really liked that episode - from Satsuki actually managing a bow, to the sisters' double kamui powerup, to Mako's triumphant return as Fight Club president. Anybody spot that earlier in the ep, after handing off Senketsu, Mako had her uniform on, but upside down?
  3. The Toonami promo fooled me - I thought the Akatsuki were breaking down the doors of the Hidden Leaf. I like the tension building here, since we don't yet see how these two actually triumph over their adversaries.
  4. "I always have this face." Me too, Hatchin. Me too. So does Michiko "find" all her clothes? She doesn't seem like she brings a lot of luggage with her. All in all, I'm enjoying the ride.
  5. That was definitely creepy. I can see that Death Gun having the same gun was the big clue - only someone Sinon knew would know that.
  6. My wife, listening in from the next room on home life with the Douchenozzles: "that sounds like our kids!". Totally off topic: my favorite line from Annie is "Nobody cares a smidge / when you're in an orphanage". I am in awe of the rhyme there.
  7. Ok, good points about not being logged out. I guess personally I'd still be worried about the actual killer in my home - for all we know they might depart from their rules as it becomes more clear that Death Gun may be exposed.
  8. That just felt disjointed. Naruto tries the same bonehead mice over and over - charging in is not how you calm down a wild (spirit) animal. Lady Tsunade gets ready to go out, but then the foxnado dissipates on its own. Kasuma turns out to be really easy to defeat as well. The only good part was Naruto bragging to Sakura about his "recuperative powers", so to speak. I'm totay looking forward to more Alatsuki fun instead. Have we already heard the non-scythe-guy's voice before? Maybe he just sounds a lot like the puppet master guy to me.
  9. So is Kirito really bad at sword fighting now? I find that hard to believe. I suspect he's just trying to get Sterben closer. Why did part of the tower fall at the beginning? Was Death Gun's first shot really that far off? The sequence with the two snipers was pretty cool. And Sinon has lost her sight so she can't help without a long walk. When Kamikaze wakes up, doesn't that mean there's a Laughing Coffin dude in his apartment?
  10. A long exposition involving Sinon's shorts. I didn't see the twist about there being two red players. If I were Sinon I wouldn't be able to calm down about having a killer in my place. What if that guy gets tired of waiting?
  11. I liked the finale, seemed like a good wrap up. Sango giving up her profession for love and family seemed a bit of a stretch, but maybe I can see it if I squint. Nice to see that Kagome has a real home.
  12. I loved Senketsu's two minute recap. I was groaning at the recap episode and he totally got me. I'm sensing the inevitable hero / villain team up for Ryuko and Satsuki. I liked the new opening credits too, nice wrap up of everyone's various costumes, including Mako's family.
  13. Really enjoying these last few episodes as things seem to be coming together for Inuyasha and company.
  14. I could get past the drawing style, although I didn't like it, but this episode didn't really telle anything new or interesting about Ooo, other than maybe the water park being a former chemical plant. A water park populated mostly by orangutans does seem particularly unpleasant, I have to say. I did like that it's run by living whistles.
  15. I spotted Shoko in one of the dreams that scrolled by, that was cool. Gunter's dark aura felt very Lich-like. Combined with seeing the Lich in Finn's dream (before the butt-feathers bird) - maybe this is how he comes back? So does this imply that a Gunter is female? Or at least it's dream self is.
  16. That's too bad for the Ice King (although I'm holding out hope that he actually passes the crown on to something else - remember that the crown basically makes him like that). But the even more gigantic Gumball Guardian was really cool, and the Grass Lard (only put into suspended animation by something in its ear) was neat too. Nice to see that really nothing has changed for Marcelline.
  17. I was running behind on this show but I'm catching up. So Sango actually was willing to kill Rin to save Miroku? Somehow that moral quandrary was the most tension this show has summoned in a while. I like that she didn't get out of it by being interrupted first. Although, I suspect the long term result will be that both she and Kohaku have something to feel guilty about, thus ultimately forgiving each other.
  18. I have to admit I smiled when the handcuffs finally came off. For a while the Robin parts of this show were pretty hard to watch; nice to see that start to turn around. And then in the last scene, I'm pretty sure the Buster Call starts. Uh oh!
  19. Apparently the Silent Assassin is a real gun as well, so this show is more accurate in its firearm details than its dialogue writing. I'm predicting that DeathGun doesn't show up on the satellite map somehow.
  20. I second the vote for the "Big Shots" team to provide the commentary.
  21. That was a good cliffhanger, I wanted more! I had forgotten the stun thing. Sinon trusts the 15 minute sweep too much. A lot can happen in that time. Nice to see that Kirito continues his trend of bending the rules of the game. Wasn't that why everyone was mad at him in SAO originally?
  22. Cue the "Zoro gets lost on the way with the keys" gag. Although he gave his key to Sanji so maybe not. Actually, didn't Sanji already leave to follow the signs painted on the wall? He must've doubled back to make sure Moss-Head finds his way. I continue to be distracted trying to figure out the topology and geography of Enie's lobby and the Gates of Justice. If you can open a door that big against the sea pressure, do you really need Pluton, the ultimate weapon?
  23. So: broad stereotypes of Japanese regions, or overly broad?
  24. Did Kirito win the final qualifier? Maybe there was another prelim that Sinon won, which we didn't see.
  25. Did we know that creepy teacher dude was actually on a mission against life fibers? His "Nudist" thing now weirdly aligns with the head girl's deal where clothes equal original sin. Escher Topology Attack - I love it!
