Although I agree Kelsey isn't the most eye-catching dancer, I really hope she makes it back next year. She has a likeable personality and it's nice to see someone who wasn't in the studio since she was 4 or have robotic answers ("yes ma'am", "this is like, my dream") make the team. She has a hell of a lot of work to do, but I think she just needs time. No one expects her to be point or be an Erica/Holly, but I hope the judges aren't biased next year and cut her because she was one of the maybe girls this year.

UGH, she's so good. So good. If she's not in front next year color me surprised. I don't care about seeing someone "cute". Give me showstopper any day. She doesn't stand out in a bad way, she's just straight up fun to watch.

Well, they're there for added "fluff" for whoevers performing. Even though the choreo is just copied from everything else they do, it still works and looks better than what other teams cheerleader do IMO. With that being said I hope they continue to go into the direction of incorporating new choreo. Thunderstruck has been around for what...8 years now? Even if a they do a new pregame and it's sloppy for the first season, I'm burnt out on thunderstruck. I could probably perform it (though not as good) myself. The only glimpse I got was of Holly in the front of the group that got to perform in the middle for a bit. Foreshadowing....?

Goodness, was this their only rehearsal for the show tomorrow? For the special halftimes how many practices does it usually take to get it down...With an early start tomorrow they're going to be exhausted.

36 still performing pregame, and Selena was out in the past but Jessica posted a sideline of her group and Selena was in it (assuming it's from this week). Anyone want to do some snooping and see if it's her or someone else?

I've noticed the same for pretty much everyone in rookie class. Maybe they're incorporating a higher waste? Going larger instead of small...shocker! Yuko's always stuck out to me, though maybe some girls weren't there for fitting and had to get estimated possibly? Hasn't that happened in the past?

Let me tell you, no one deserves this chance more than Dak. Everyone here in Mississippi (and I'd imagine his home state in Louisiana) are thrilled. He showed promise at state, but he's really evolved into a magnificent player with the Cowboys staff. The fact that he stepped in after the first line QB got injured in high school, college, and now the NFL is story enough.

I just think she's naturally curvy. Her hips/thighs have always looked like that, but it looks good on her! Not a short hair fan...wish they'd let the girls change it up and not stick with one style for years. :/

I'm getting serious Momma no-no vibes from some of them. The girls get so much attention with the show and through media I don't understand how this isn't already in practice. With as much SVU as I watch I could just be paranoid, but better paranoid than sorry.

The comments on these "DCC gems of the week" make me want to puke. Does no one monitor them?! If I were Raylee I would be so uncomfortable with an old man saying "I bet you taste sweeter" on an innocent ice cream cone picture. I'm sure comments will always be made like that but on your own official page...get it together. They shouldn't be subjected to that.

Smart move to capitalize on them since most of them teach yoga/barre anyway.

I could totally see Jackie doing Rockettes for this reason. She always had more of a robotic movement during performances; I don't mean this negatively - girl can work it! Her style to me screams drill team and she's just so bright, I'd love for her to make it. Hopefully she tries out next year. Didn't Lauren and Olivia (Kitty Olivia) also try out or have Rockette ambitions at one point? Respond in the former DCC thread, don't want the mods to hate me. :P
