  1. I don’t remember the Pressure Cooker from last time but if it really lasted 14 hours, did people just piss themselves?

And could those comps be any more of a disadvantage for Matt or what? So now that it’s pitch black he can’t even read lips to know what others are saying.

I don’t even understand the point of going through the eviction vote by vote.

Yeah, honestly once Jag voted for Reilly it was obvious it was gonna be unanimous so I just FF’d til Julie announced the votes. And shocker it was unanimous.

Hisam is just pissed he didn’t get picked to be in the group with the bros and babes. He thinks he’s too good to be with all those other people.

Did they garble Luke’s slur?  Because what they presented doesn’t sound like he said what they said that he said.

They muted him saying it on the show (of course they aren’t going to air that) but it was clear as day in the video online of the incident.

  4. Glad crybaby (uh oh I mentioned the baybee!) Anna is finally gone. I really can’t stand her constant “teehee, aren’t I such a precious innocent flower” attitude.

Kara Saun’s was terrible too but Anna should have been aufed a couple weeks ago so not sad to see her go this time instead.

No clue or interest in this other Bravo reality show. I liked the “real clients” challenge more when it was actually regular people and not D-list “celebs” from another show. I guess they didn’t want the designers to offend anyone like they have in past years.

  5. Ugh, re-using old clues is such a terrible idea for multiple reasons. Watching repeat questions I have already seen is not going to make me want to tune in. There is no fun in that.

  6. For FJ I briefly thought “shining star” but then realized that wasn’t a compound word so thought “what else with actors is -star, ah yes superstar!” and was surprised that all three didn’t get it. It seemed pretty easy to me.

Re: DD…they have a masculine face and body, so I think it’s difficult to work with that within the designer’s esthetic…too feminine, and they look like they’re wearing a costume, and too masculine and they look like a man.  I also think they’re tough to fit for someone used to making women’s clothing.  It would be great if one of the designers could make something fantastic for them.

And why oh why did Korto make that top fitted for breasts? DD doesn’t have boobs! No wonder it looked saggy and ill-fitting, because it was just empty fabric!

  8. As others have said, WTF did Kara Saun’s lace negligée have to do with the Tulsa Massacre? (Nothing, is the correct answer.) And IMO it seemed pretty gross to capitalize on that in order to make up meaning for underwear.

  9. With time, FJ would have been easy but there was no way I was going to get that within 30 seconds. I forgot the 500 so ended up with 1166. I knew I was missing one but couldn’t come up with it fast enough without having the time to write them all down and see what was missing.

Then we have a dude being held at gunpoint in the clubhouse, and he wants to know where Jess is in order to tell EZ what happened to his dad. Which I guess happens off camera, because ...

Yeah that was weird. We never saw what happened to the big bald SOA guy. I guess they killed him? I guess he told them the SOA leader killed Felipe?

I totally forgot who the girl in the car who stabbed the Mayan even was. One of the Mayan bartenders but what she knew about all their crimes I don’t remember.

Why was the writing on this series so poorly handled with so much happening offscreen? I don’t normally have trouble keeping characters and plots straight on other shows but here for some reason it is always so confusing.

All I wanted was for Sally to make it out OK, and EZ to die, so yay for that.

I guess all the main Mayans are dead after that raid. Way to go EZ, quite a Pyrrhic victory there.

@Cotypubby, 2 questions from this Jeopardy! viewer who only started watching regularly later in life:
Were you watching the live show with just 30 seconds to parse FJ?
How long have you regularly watched Jeopardy!?

    And, congratulations on getting it!

    Thanks!

I was watching later at night on the DVR but did not pause it so only had the 30 seconds. Actually my brain first went "Hmm, aren't there two painters named van Eyck, one younger & one the elder? That's come up before... Wait no the names are similar not the same, and in France, Ah of course Manet & Monet. Wait do they want one or two... ok yeah "these two men" they want both." All that within the 30 seconds, ha!

I've been a regular everyday watcher for, jeez I don't know, more than 20 years. Ken Jennings had his run in 2004 (!!) and I was already regularly watching before then.

  12. Got FJ tonight but had to read the clue a couple times to make sure they wanted both names and not the elder.

I can’t believe Alex missed that medical question. That was so easy…

(And notty and naughty are not homophones …)

  13. First Creeper with EZ and now the mother Emily killed:

”Hi person who betrayed me/killed my son, I know you’re a really bad person and is capable of murder and has gang/cartel connections. I know what you did and I’m going to turn you in and ruin your life!! I’m telling you this in private so that no one else knows I know about you and I totally trust you won’t kill me.”

  14. I got FJ immediately and was surprised none of them got it! “Fashion fad of the 1940s” means “bobbysoxers” to me because I know they were crazy about Sinatra. After coming up with it, I then worked backwards to make sure it fit the clue, “ah yes, to bob something means to cut it, that has to be correct.”

  15. 3rd instaget FJ for me this week! Seems they’ve been a bit easier lately.

I always root for the players who go right to the theatre categories so was glad Bryan won. (Anyone else think he looks like the actor Chris Sullivan?)

My Tolkien nerdiness came out because I answered “Khazad-dûm” for the Mines of Moria. 😄 Still correct since that’s just the same place in the language of the Dwarves.

  16. I started rooting for Donna when she knew all the Broadway questions! (I saw all five of those productions.) I had no clue for FJ, I also thought “I dunno, Laura Ingalls Wilder or whoever wrote Anne of Green Gables.” Never would have come up with Willa Cather.

  17. I just wanted to know what a “stay-at-home daughter” is! I Googled it and the definition I found on Wikipedia is pretty gross so I hope she meant it some other way…

”The purpose of stay-at-home daughters is to "learn to assist their future husbands as helpmeets in their exercise of dominion by practicing that role in their relationship with their father."

Whew! I finally broke my FJ losing streak since June 1!
Indian Ocean and Pacific seemed too well-known, even for "larger bodies" of water, but I guess having to come up with 2 was supposed to make it harder?
IDK. There are fewer of those kind of "larger bodies" of water than there are continents. I guess I'm suffering from a bit of Imposter's Syndrome, heh.

At least you didn’t say Australia was next to the Atlantic! 😂
