Glad you're enjoying the new car, AnnieF. I'm at the tipping point with mine, but have been delaying getting a new one. I'm probably not going to be able to wait much longer though. Work has been icky lately. I think I need to schedule a long weekend or something. I've been only taking a day off here or there, but that doesn't really cut it. Other than that, things have been fairly quiet. So no complaints there. It seems that vibes are needed for KPC so I'm sending a bunch your way and to anyone else who may need them.

That's great news, LnB. I hope your mom settles in quickly and you're able to get some downtime.
-
Hang in there, Erratic!
-
AnnieF, I hope your cat makes its way home and that you're feeling better. Many vibes headed your way, Erratic. Hmmm, interesting about the Muppets. I'll have to check it out. Did anyone get a good view of the eclipse last night? It was cloudy most of the day and night but cleared up enough to get a decent view. Very cool.

Promotion vibes to Harvester! Haven't decided to watch any new shows. I'm watching Heroes Reborn. I guess that counts. Oh, and Project Greenlight. So I'm curious what you thought of The Muppets, Cynya and cko - and anyone else who has watched. I read a lot of mixed reviews on that one.

Me three. Glad you're feeling better, jaytee. I get migraines too and know the unpleasantness you speak of. Good luck with the new car, AnnieF! I hope there's no further vandalism, buffyjunkie.

Will be watching the Doctor Who premiere with the nibling. Have been catching up with Sense8 which is good so far. Surprisingly, I like all of the characters - usually there's at least one I'm not crazy about. Sorry you didn't get the tickets for the panel, LnB. It's good that you can catch it streaming. Have fun next weekend, Erratic.

Boliver, I'm very sorry to hear about your friend and hope you and Silver Fox are doing ok. Wow. I don't know why I'm surprised, but I am. I don't know how people do things like this. I would never think of it. My mind just doesn't work that way. Welcome, jaytee.

valny, if you have or can get a tablet to read instead of using a computer, that may help. I read before going to sleep on the iPad and just dim the screen a lot. It doesn't seem to affect me that way. I also found the books I read - Say Good Night to Insomnia (The 6-Week Solution) and Desperately Seeking Snoozin'. Its been years since I read them, but maybe they'll help you. Hope you have a nice trip and traveling with your dad goes well. Oooh, good luck, KPC.

Sorry to hear about your dad's cat, Hostile. Hope your dad is doing ok. Glad you're having a great time, AnnieF. I don't like baseball but I'm enjoying reading your observations. Glad you have your house back, Erratic. Sounds like it was just in the nick of time! I took an extra day off for long weekend, but it wasn't long enough. Never is.

My reaction too mixed with slight disappointment. I used to have an issue with insomnia too, Valny. It's so frustrating. There was a book that helped somewhat. I'll have to see if I can find it. One of the things it recommended was not looking at the clock when you wake up in the middle of the night. I do that to this day. It also basically made you retrain yourself to sleep. It would start by making you limit the amount of sleep to the minimum you need or a few hours (which may be all that you're getting anyway) and gradually add to that time. You cannot nap or sleep at any other time. And if you're not sleeping, you have to stay out of bed. I'll take a look for the book and post back with the title if I can find it. I hope you're able to get back on track soon. I know how difficult it is and it ends up affecting everything.

That must be quite the mix of emotions, Erratic. Nope. I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm thirding or fourthing by now but definitely go for it. One of these days I will dust off my guitar. I swear I will. Don't know who has seen it yet, but The Mr. Robot finale was bizarre. I understand why it was postponed though. Anyone have good plans for the weekend? I'm taking an extra day. Not sure what I'm doing but I think I'll just get caught up with things and unwind. ETA: The quote/line spacing issue drives me crazy.

I have now seen the pic, Erratic, and adorable just doesn't begin to cover it. What a cutie.
-
Thanks everyone. It is a huge relief and it feels incredibly weird right now. Wow, third week of school. That just seems wrong.
-
I'm sure you'll hit upon the right place for you, romantic idiot. I think you'll see it and know. I haven't watched Sense8 but it's another one on my list. I'm waiting for the pic to come through, but I'm sure your little one is adorable, Erratic. I've been quieter than usual but for good reason. We have closed! That kept me crazy busy. Thank you for all the good closing vibes. I consider us fortunate to have had it work out so quickly (even with the snafu we ran into early on). I'm looking forward to things settling down a bit. Have you seen the latest Mr. Robot, KPC? Pretty wild. I'm liking the show more as it goes on but realize now that I should have watched this one more closely in the beginning. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

It looked like the opposite to me, and I played it back at the time to check it again. It was hard to tell but that's what it seemed to me. Plus, Teddy looked confused by the whole thing which led me to believe that he was confused she kissed him in the first place and then pulled away.
-
Hi buffynut! Welcome. I think most of us, if not all, made the jump over from TWoP.

I'm not sure I was watching the right show. Who was this Amantha that didn't actively annoy me? Oh, it didn't cross my mind that the warrant was for Trey. I thought it was for George's place because Carl only searched it illegally so far. Does Trey have a jacket with a bunch of pockets that he planted evidence in and left at Daniel's mom's house when he was there? Trey and Tawney both gave different accounts of what Daniel was wearing. I felt sorry for Teddy this episode. I can't be annoyed with Tawney for kissing him and then immediately regretting it. At least that's what it looked like to me. That relationship is so messed up at the moment. She wants to leave but it's comfortable and some form of security for her that's easy to get pulled back into even if it's not right for her in the long run. All of the coffee grounds comments never fail to make me laugh. And I'm sure I'll be finding a use for "Eat a bee" which I never heard before and amused me more than it probably should.

I'm watching, KPC. I don't know what to think and I have no idea where it's headed. I'm very undecided about this show but I'm sticking with it for now. I think it was originally supposed to only be one season but it ended up getting renewed. I wonder how much that's changing how they planned to end this season. Sorry you didn't get the part in the play and I seriously hope no one is messing with you. Glad we're at the end of the work week. Does anyone have good plans? Nothing exciting here. Just catching up on things. I do hope we get a break in the weather.

Don't want to jinx anything, but looks like we're going to close in a few weeks. Anyone watching Humans or Mr. Robot? I think I like Humans better. I'm sticking with Mr. Robot but I'm not sure what I think at this point. I don't entirely like it but will see it through. Dont know if I'll be back for S2. Guess it depends on how this one ends.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's son, buffyjunkie. That must have been a very difficult day. Work vibes to KPC. I find that it can make me very productive. So it's definitely a useful emotion at times.
-
AnnieF, I think it's completely normal to have those feelings. It does suck and I hope you're feeling better about this soon.
-
Happy anniversary, AnnieF! Are you doing anything special for the 25th? It does seem more complicated and less straightforward than when I bought, but that was stressful too. I've never sold before. I want to be fair but not get taken advantage of. Then there are the oh so helpful conflicting family opinions. So fun. I decided on a compromise. No renting but they can store their belongings til the closing. Still have to get through inspections, appraisal, etc. Hopefully, this will work out. Keep good thoughts for me! Anti- poofy vibes to KPC. Glad you're making progress with your father. Try not to let him stress you out. I think I tested Gryffindor, but it's been a while so I'm not sure. Off to find out... ETA: I took a few and Ravenclaw seems to be it.

Oh, I can imagine how difficult that was!
