The best thing about todays "Burning 101" show (didn't she already do an episode with that title?) was all the "men-folk" trying to tell us where to find her recipes. It's a sad state of affairs over there on ye ole ranch.

So they're still holding training camp at Valley Ranch this year? Darn, I was hoping to see the new space and how it differs from VR. Maybe they'll slip a little bit of the moving talk into MTT. I'll just have to hope we get S12 in order to see the Frisco (it is Frisco isn't it?) studio.

So Season 1 ended with Cameron in danger, S2 Spring Finale has Kirsten in danger. I'm seeing a pattern here. Daniel Stinger was playing little Cameron the whole time. Who's shocked? I do wonder what his end game is though. Is he trying to kill Kirsten by keeping her in the memory with her mother or is he trying to help her? I feel like he might be trying to hurt her. But to my mind they haven't developed the overarching mythology enough. I'm not sure I care. I may have missed something but the Stitchers group just basically killed their own program right? How are they going to manage to get the NSA to fund them now that they've "gone rogue" and kidnapped Blair and his lackeys? I may need to re-watch this whole season because I'm confused. That said the Cameron/Kirsten scenes were really touching, the Kirsten/Camille scenes were great as always and I'm really sad about Linus' dad. SO there were a lot of good moments for me tonight despite my problems with the overall mythology/storyline. Oh and I loved Camille kicking ass. Also, I'm still not sure Nina isn't a plant. Probably over analyzing that one but it just feels like something is off there. She took the lie news really well considering.

I agree. I was wondering if Caila would post about it or not and when she did it was so classy. No matter what she's done in the partying vein or whatever she really handled that well. Kat handling it well doesn't surprise me because she's always been classy. I'm not saying Caila hasn't been but with her age and the rumors we've heard I was not expecting that response. I think Simone used the wrong music for the type of dance she was doing. I really feel like she was dancing way too soft and slow for that tempo. Maybe if she had better music that clip we saw would have worked better for me. I can only assume the solo got better since she made it back.

Wow that IG pick of Amy shows some real flexibility, much more than I thought she could develop. Really interested to see what happens with her in TC this year. I may have missed this in the flurry of posting the last couple of weeks but I'm assuming S9 Christina has decided to give DCC up? I don't recall seeing her at auditions this year at all.

I didn't think Hunter's solo was horrible but it definitely didn't scream DCC to me. I agree bigskygirl I'm curious to see what happens with Amy in training camp. With her short legs and bad kicks she's got a HUGE challenge ahead of her. It's hard to get a feel for someone's personality in the audition rounds so I'll be invested in seeing what her attitude is like in training camp. It's interesting to me that out of the 10 S9 rookies my 3 favorites are still with the organization. They are my 3 favorite cheerleaders now that Angela has retired. And of the S10 rookies my favorites, KaShara and Robin made it back which thrills me. Especially since KaShara seemed on the weight bubble last year. I definitely feel more invested this year because I've followed the audition process "live" and saw a lot of the social media stuff. I'll also be following training camp much closer before the show premieres. I think I'm going to enjoy S11 much more than I did S10.

Agreed on Kat. After seeing her solo piece her cut makes a lot more sense. I know she dropped the ribbon after a bit but she was still all tricks and very little dance. After her struggle to make the time last year and seeing that solo I'm much less surprised than I was last night about her getting cut. I feel bad for her because she seems like such a sweet girl but she probably earned that cut unfortunately.

I couldn't bring myself to vote for her with that audition video but I'm glad, if she made it, that she'll get another chance. Hope her expressions help her rather than hurt her this year. Glad to see Kyndall with another chance as well

Thrilled another one of my faves Yuko made it! Hope she can go all the way. And glad to see Selina back, she seemed like she really upped her game this year. ETA I see a post from Kristi Scales from 6 hours ago that deliberations were starting. WOW Six hours of deliberation this year. Wonder if that's on par with years past.

Wouldn't they wait to do that until the squad is actually announced instead of just when TC is announced? That seems odd. Glad she made TC this year though!!!

Even though it was expected I'm super sad about Caila. I'll miss her a lot. And I'm really shocked about Kat. She seemed like someone they'd try to make work like they did last year. Are we sure Kelsey made it? I really hope so. Can't believe they took Auto Amy.

I didn't even bother watching after the intro. Normally I'll still watch for the snark value but whether it's just me being tired or cranky or something I just didn't even want to bother with watching her faux cook so she can stuff everything in a bag and shove it in her conveniently empty fridge. And, incidentally, if I went with one of those "bring all the ingredients to your door" companies it wouldn't be because I didn't have time to prep ingredients. The reason I'd go with something like that is because I didn't want to buy whole things of spices for one recipe. Maybe I'm just an odd duck that way.... *sigh* Guess I didn't need to watch to rant. I'm gonna go take a nap, LOL

I haven't been around for finals before. When do we start finding out who made TC? Is it like 9ish or something? Or later than that. So glad Erica got the first slot! I love her. Wish Kat had branched out instead of bringing another rhythmic gymnastics prop.

I was going to say... I was looking for it when I saw the posts here and couldn't find it. LOL

I wasn't on board the Kirsten/Fischer train until the last couple episodes. The way he ran to her after she passed out in the tank and the convo this episode had me seeing some sparks. Whether they are friend/sibling sparks or romantic has yet to be seen in my opinion. I am really liking this season a lot with the deepening mythology and Kirsten 's search for Stinger. I hope this bodes well for another season pickup.

My top ten ends up as: Kelsey and Jamie (because I just want them to have a chance at TC this year so bad and their combos weren't horrible). As far as the vote goes after Kelsey and Jamie I went with Cersten, Megan, Royesha, Selina (is this last year's TC candidate?), Yuko, Minerva, Brennan and Madelaine in no particular order

Just had my first run through of the videos (Thanks NFLSweethearts for the list, SO much easier than watching through the voting site). I have my shortlist now I need to limit to 10 LOL. It's surprising the number of girls I weeded through quickly because they didn't really involve their back in the shoulder roll at the beginning or they fell out of the pirouette or their kick was.... yikesworthy. I just wondered though, does anyone else feel like this routine makes it really easy for the girls to get messy? I feel like I had a lot of girls that lost me when they go to the .. what is it chorus? Right after the kick. A lot of them seemed to just be winging it after that. I know someone's mentioned it already but are we confident Jenna is S7 cut Jenna? She really looks like her but I wasn't a fan of her dancing at all. Didn't look DCC worthy. I really like Madelaine's combo. I felt like she wasn't so sharp in her movements as she was in TC last year and I love her curly look. She scared me though when she rolled her ankle right at the point of starting the combo. Hope she's ok! Final watch through and then I'm voting.

Yeah I agree Kelli needs a style update both in hair and clothing. I think a more free flowing dress on her would look amazing and I don't understand why she always feels like she needs to stuff herself into the tight stuff.

Wait they have someone marking the dance while the girls perform for the judges.... I didn't know that either! I like Neil too, he brings some good stuff to the judging.
