I twigged on to who the obscurial was fairly early and spent the remainder of the movie waiting for the characters to catch on. Also, Eddie Redmayne bugged me. As I said I haven't read the book so I have no idea how true to character he was but he bugged. He mumbled and never seemed to look anyone in the eye.
My favorite characters were Kowalski and the sister. I kept hoping that some sort exception would be made for Jacob.
The book is not a novel, it's a take on a textbook that the students at Hogwarts would study from. The story in the film is original.

So Monday is Thanksgiving on Show. Does that mean Adrienne and Lucas are getting married on Thanksgiving Day?

On Friday night, Trump held a glittering gala for 100 foreign diplomats at his new Washington hotel. As part of the banquet, they gave away lottery tickets. The winners got free stays at Trump resorts all around the world. Diplomats were quoted as saying, "yes, of course, when we come to Washington, we're going to stay at Trump's hotel in order to curry favor with him."
So he's already using his position as President of the United States to drum up business for his private companies.

Newt seems to be somewhere on the Asperger's spectrum, but he was a sweet, nice guy. But my favorite performance in the whole thing was Ezra Miller. I thought he subtly killed it.
The inside of the suitcase was ... magical. I'd like to live there. :)
I'm confused about the Obscurials, though. If they tamp down their wizardry, they explode into Obscurial? How, then, was Harry not even knowing he was a wizard until he was eleven?

I had to laugh at Kate talking about Lucas's father not coming for the wedding. He hasn't been on the show in what, thirty years now?
Shane, Kim and Theresa hang out at the pub but we never see them interacting with Caroline.
I don't want to see Victor mellowing.

It should be noted that only two Republicans voted not to let Sessions's nomination out of committee, it just took those two votes and a unanimous Democratic member vote to keep it from leaving the committee. Although, it is true that the majority Republicans could have taken it out of committee if they wanted to.
