I've felt manipulated by this show for a long time. I feek like they made decisions on story lines they thought were compelling and then edit to fit that. IMO a lot of their decisions are based on other factors, and then say it's dance ability and find footage to justify that. As we've noticed this show definitely does not follow a linear time progression. In reality, they announced the leaders and the 2nds. Kashara was originally a 2nd for group 4. So they skipped announcing the 2nds and just put Kashara 2nd announcement in Erica's place. A real easy fix, but why the subterfuge? This is not a reality show, it;'s an ALTERNATE REALITY show. We all know how to tell a half-truth that answers the question, but doesn't lie and gets folks out of your business. I'm visiting relatives this week and have been employing that tactic regularly. Southern ladies have two great qualities: 1) throwing shade with a smile, and the recipient not being really sure if they are being insulted or not, and 2) deflecting a question when you overstepped your boundaries, without saying mind your business. I know Kellie has both skills. Why not show the leader announcement it how it really happened, and then explain Erica's departure with: personal health reasons, work opportunity, rule infraction and mutually agreed upon split. There were a multitude of options. I know they posted GLs and 2nds somewhere. Why tell such an easily disprovable lie! @ShellyB I hope someday we'll find out the low low.

I'm not arguing that point. That was the source of my initial skepticism. Especially, without that HD screen, that body and her dancing more than makes up for not being the prettiest. There are a lot of girls on the current squad, and last year's squad, that are not HD ready IMO.

Rewatched. I agree it's Rachel and I believe I see a roll. Let's hope she gets it together. I think Lacey's body type is too thin. That's why she and Jinelle never entered the point discussion (to my knowledge). How else to you explain Kashara leap frogging both of them for point? And it's not like they can do something about it, that's the way God made them. I was wondering why my eyes were drawn more to Robin. The funny part, Jenna is just a thin. Someone pointed out, just how long Jenna's legs are compared to her height. That maybe the difference, because I adore Jenna's dancing.

Ally's body was IMO the ideal DCC body. Curvy, but toned, not emaciated, with breasts and a booty. And not muscular. The squads she was on were much prettier than recent squads, and most definitely this current squad. I just put one squad photo up (I'm lazy). It was the first one that came up in google. If Gina, Maddie, Kellie, little Heather, Mandy, and Keyra (some of those are favorites of mine, but they aren't stunners IMO) are HD ready, then Ally is ready for her close up.

I've had season tickets to the Redskins (2nd row) and have season tickets to the Panthers (front row of the upper deck). This may be a weaker squad than previous ones (I'm not sure about that), but those other cheerleaders can't even hold a candle to even a weak DCC squad. I agree Jenna's group is the best. Is it the because she has the strongest dancers, or is she the best instructor? Remember, the group leaders teach the dances. We know K and J are only there (max_ two nights a week. In all this brew-haha about Jenna, no one ever talked about taking her group leadership away. I think she brings more to the squad than just extra pop on her hip shakes.

Initially, I was not a fan of Ally's either, because I didn't think she had the DCC look. I think she gets a bum deal for that scene. I feel like Taylor talked some stuff to someone who told her group leader and it took a life from there. I honestly feel she was just trying not to leave Cassie out there, especially because she agreed with her. Mia was just like, "please Lord. Can we just judge people on their dance ability?" However, when Ally put that uniform on she looked great, and danced her ass off. I really try to make my faves girls who actually are "World Class" based on their dancing. To quote Beyonce, and I never miss a chance to quote her: "I talk like shit, but I can back it up!" (From her song Ego.) Basically, even if she was/is a shit stirrer, she backed it up with her dance ability. This is a dance team after all.

Me too. I've feel less manipulated this season, except for the decisions regarding Lacey and Katelyn (not over it yet). Everyone fell for the weight story line too. If you look closely, when Kelli is putting the photos of Tasha and Stephanie on the board, they already have the stickers for WW and WP already on them. So this was not new info to the girls or K and J. Tasha may have an acting career, because I certainly believed that this was new info to her.

I rewatched the parts with the alumni, after all the complaints on here, and didn't find one objectionable thing. They gave praises and criticism where deserved. All of those women have EXPERIENCE and I think were able confirm what K and J already thought and possibly give new insights. Mia's valley girl accent was fall on the floor hilarious. To me she was the best point ever! The best triangle was her, Emma, and Jackie Bob. So she can do no wrong in my eyes. and criticize til the cows come home. Stumblelina and the comments about the tan were priceless, and spot on. They had on mics, so it's not like they said it to to their faces. Tina was fine too. She was appropriate the whole time. One of the complaints I constantly hear, is how K gets her favorites and they can do no wrong, and how Judy gives vague critiques. We finally get some experienced folks to give detailed, direct critiques and suddenly they are mean. I fail to understand. This show is heavily edited. They took a session that lasted a couple of hours and condensed it to 5 minutes. I, for one, and happy for their input. The sob stories need to stop! I don't care about your friend, or your job. Kalyssa and Lauren are losing me. Strictly on the basis of their dancing. I hope they improve. Erin and Briana, can you clean out your locker already. I think they are both goners next week.

She looks great! . . . . but the uniform pic is the one that been manipulated. The shape of her head is much more ovoid. I don't know any diet that can change the shape of your skull. She needed to use an app that allows you to select parts of the picture to slim/elongate, without doing the whole thing. She looks fantastic regardless. I always look for waistline spillage. To me, if you're not spilling over those teeny,tiny shorts at the waist, you are small enough.

Not sure my media will show up, but here goes. Kashara looks like she is chasing the choreography. It looks like she is unsure of the next move and is hesitant. Robin, Lacey, and Jenna are outdancing her. What do y'all think. My opinion is based on the dancing I see, not looks or personality. However, I do like the diversity of looks and body types of having those four up front. Just switch Jenna and Kashara and I'll shut up.

That's kind of dumb. Anyone who's checking social media accounts, already knows they're gone. We may not have all the details, but we know the outcome.

I ran across this today as well. Apparently, she's an LSU girl too. I saw a picture of her on the LSU team with Cersten and I think two other current DCC. If she's friends with several squad members she definitely had a leg up.

Agreed. For all the Jenna hate on here, she earned her spot at point with her consistently, superior performances. To me, Kashara is pretty and adorable and a good dancer, but definitely does not have what it takes to be point. I think the HOF performance proved that. There is a reason why some senior vets are jumped for position in the triangle (i.e. Jinelle). #TeamJenna

i like Jenna at point as well. What surprised me is Cersten, whom I adore, took Kashara's spot in the triangle. They must really like her.

My mother has Spectrum (however, until recently it was Time Warner), and she still has CMT. On the lowest tier level too. No doubt we got to keep it because of the recent transition. My condolences!

New poster, but have read this forum for several years. So much for a boring season. This Holly/Jenna situation has certainly given me life. I'll be eagerly awaiting the truth. COME ON SHELLY, I might die of suspense. In other news, I'm so happy Robin was named an asst. leader. Was surprised that she got it over Holly. Now I'm getting some understanding. I love love love Cersten. She's up in the front triangle at Canton (not point)..
