Forgive me for this q as I’m sure the answer is in here somewhere (spare me from scrolling!) but what is the speculated reason that Victoria didn’t try out?

I haven’t been following the boards this year. Can someone help with questions (if there is intel) 1) what was Brennan referencing with “where this team is going” this year. Did something happen? 2) did tina k only make it for one season back in her day? 3) do we know which girl had covid? Just curious 4) besides frustration and waiting till the last minute was there anything else specifically that the cut vets were so mad about? I love Brennan. Was bummed about that

Has anyone seen the most recent vk pic on her insta? Why. Just why vk? The amount of Facetune used on her eyes is criminal.

Any updates on who has been cut in training camp? I haven’t been on the boards. I tried sifting through some pages and gave up. Basically wondering if VK is cut yet haha

I also couldn’t believe they didn’t comment on VK’s comment about jinelle not having a weight issue therefor not understanding (unless they did and edited it out). Like come on! If I was her boss and she said that to me (albeit her feeling that way is fair but still) I would have immediately said that is not the point! The point is we appointed jinelle to help you wth nutrition and fitness and you ignored the help. The kid gloves they use with her is ridiculous

I agree on the comparison being a stretch, hence my apples and oranges comment. But ooof, the “she knew the pay before, she could have just left” mentality hurts my soul as a woman. we shouldn’t have to just “leave” a situation that is unfair. That doesn’t solve anything. That’s kinda everything that’s wrong in our society with unjust situations. I don’t think anyone is arguing that the football players shouldn’t be payed more haha, but 30k a year. Come on. That’s not even minimum wage salary right? We’re acting like that’s super star cash. But I digress, I’ll get off my soap box. Besides, talking about entitled Victoria is more fun anyway ;) melissa rycroft.... will they ever listen to the masses and ditch her. She offers NOTHING. They could fill her segments with so much more that we’d all like to see. Literally anything.

Eh, that’s kind of a weak argument. It’s like asking why the abused woman stayed in an abusive relationship for so long. Yes. Apples and oranges, ill admit it haha. I guess what I’m saying is everything is much more clear when you’re outside of the situation and it’s never too late to fight for what’s right regardless of the situation

I agree. That comment annoyed me. I’m a sahm with 2 degrees and a ton of drive. It’s just a choice I make while the kiddos are young. Hate Cassie for dcc things but not for that

Honestly though, even if she did get a bit off, which is doubtful in a short amount of time, this will be something she’d struggle with every season. Let’s face it, You come in your rookie year looking the best you’ll ever look. These girls have dreamed about this day, prepped, probably starved. I’m sure there’s exceptions but for most of them weight wise, this will be the best they’ll look. So if she’s struggling from day one of her rookie training camp and gaining 11 lbs in such a short amount of time.... that’s telling.

Completely agree. If her claims are deemed correct then change is needed. Also this whole “you should be grateful for being on this team, it’s a privelage” mentality really pisses me off. No one says that to the football players. Or any other job for that matter. If she’s lying let the system do their job and figure it out. It just seems like people were quick to discredit her as a bitter fired cheerleader before looking at the case.

Yesssss on the Paris Hilton vibes. I know we only get glimpses of these girls but she just strikes me as a mean girl. Granted an awesome dancer, but still. Well never know all the behind the scenes stuff that happens and obviously they don’t want to air out all the dirty laundry so I just assume there’s reasons behind all their choices. Yes on Tasha!! I remember when she was a rookie thinking oh geez she’s cheesy wth her pink lipstick and funny Instagram but now I think she’s really beautiful and turned out to be a great dancer

I was thinking about her too. Unless I’m blind and competed missed her I didn’t see her at all in the last episode with the segment about retiring vets

I know slightly off topic but can someone fill me in on why kalyssa quit/got the boot? im really interested to see if this Victoria stuff will be shown in the show. I hope so!

Maybe I’m being naive, but I suspect they brought her in because they DID think she had a chance. Maybe she choked at camp. None of us will really know until it airs.

Can we all agree that when anyone says “fat” they don’t really mean fat. They’re talking for dcc standards. Personally I don’t like to use that word, it seems harsh, but I can certainly get that when someone says it they don’t mean it in a literal real world way.
