  1. God, yes. I thought I was nodding off and missing bits, but it does not seem to be very well edited. I am finding it very hard to follow. I binged and loved the last few seasons over a period of weeks, so perhaps that is why I am finding this difficult. But it is all over the place.
  2. Premonition? Vision? Omen? Voices? To me, if I was to use the word calling, I'd be talking about having a vocation. Like Mother Teresa or someone. Are they really suggesting that Michaela and Ben are Mother Teresa like?? They are using "calling," as a noun in the wrong context. How would it even come about? "I have a noise/vision in my head, like an otherworldly being is talking or putting an idea directly into my mind, how can I describe it????" AAGH
  3. "Chess Mate" That is all. I love Jason.☺️
  4. I only got round to watching this today. I couldn't bring myself to watch all of if. I stopped watching about 10 minutes in. That's me out. 😬 I like the cast, but I watch TV for escapism. This has just become annoying.
  5. I used to watch TVD in the early days, and IS was very entertaining. Had a lot of snarky lines. Not so much here. That being said, I've watched the first 3 episodes of this and like it so far. The gore is extremely gory! (and I used to watch True Blood, although the gore there was more about vampires going splodge)
  6. And there it is. Fred has done this lots of times. The chief enabler. (Although pretty much everyone who worked in that studio was complicit) They said it at the party- he made them so much money-the motorbike present was just a drop in the ocean.
  7. Jesus, That was hard to watch. I started off thinking I really didn't want to see an episode about Mitch, and he proved me right. He behaved just as I expected, total asshole. That party was all a bit skeevy. Martin Short doing a very good job; Mitch's poor wife just left looking on.... Then slowly the whole horror of the situation with Hannah was shown. I feel sick just having watched it. Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Hannah) was fantastic. I was surprised that they used the Mandalay Bay storyline, and that, combined with the rape scene and the aftermath, was awful. I didn't want to keep watching but at the same time I couldn't stop watching.
  8. Again, storyline not making sense. Why uncloak Macy's location? the only reason I can see is so Whitelighter Harry could orb into it. And they had the location, but not the appartment number so how did they know which one it was? And how exactly was Harry's favorite little red number available in the swanky place in NYC? (Although admittedly she looked amazing in it!) How did Mel get out of the locked room to help with the poker game? I vaguely remember her using the invisibility potion,(Was that with the demon/overlord meeting? ) but how come she had some left in her little potion pack? Yes!!!!. Not exactly a useful escape outfit. And can someone explain the power blocking stone? Darklighter Harry had it in his pocket, but as soon as Macy pickpocketed it she got her powers back?
  9. I don't think I have ever seen Martin Short play skeevy. And Oh My God. He nailed it. The look on Mitch's face as he clocked what Martin Short was saying.... I like this show. The first episode was a bit shouty, lots of angry people, but got me hooked. That bit in the office, where the PR/manager clicked the button to lock the door, is apparently based on a real life issue. Might have been Matt Lauer. The whole me too movement is very interesting to me, (I have my own experiences) and I expect as the show goes on, we will begin to see that everyone knew, at some level what was going on. They always do.
  10. I cant work out why Abigail was trying to kill Macy, and then suddenly changed her mind. I'm not sure why the green scar made a difference. Did I miss something? And why did it take until the last second for the fortress/command centre to recognise a breach?
  11. Just catching up with the last few episodes before S3 starts. The storyline made me twitchy. As others have said, where were mono guy's family. But the ECMO storyline!!!! Why were the surgeons and an advanced nurse practitioner making the decisions. Where were the intensive care team? Why were they treating patients with the monitor readings? Someone who was that sick wouldnt have enough perfusion to generate Oxygen saturations. How about using arterial blood gas readings? Why didn't they put out a call to ELSO? Patient was too unwell to transfer, but they could have brought ECMO to him. And when they proned Poor Abe, well the evidence says it can improve things in the short term but doesn't change the outcome. But they WOKE HIM UP. I'm sorry but 2 minutes of slightly better oxygen saturations would not have allowed him to become compos enough to communicate, never mind write. And the poor man would not have tolerated the ventilator while awake if he was that sick. (What is Nic's specialty anyway? She works in every single department, which is fine if she has a specialism that travels, like nephrology, or respiratory, or cardiac. Initially I thought she was an emergency nurse practitioner. But she is on paeds, emergency room, surgery.... with no recurring theme, except her lipstick. Between her and Conrad, and the rest, its a bit like House all over again. Except with nurses! Aahhhhh. Never mind. I still enjoy the shenanigans. Mostly. There is lots of behavior that is true to life. And I have met surgeons very like the Attendings on here. I'm an ICU nurse by the way. (The transplant storyline also irritated me. Retrieval team and transplant team folks. Not the cardiothoracic attending and the Ortho resident.)
  12. Is Homelander indestructible? Or would some C4 up his ass have the same effect on him as Translucent? Yeah, found the baby thing a bit off. I think Homelander is too selfish and was way too jealous of the baby to save him too, but maybe he had also been injected with compound V and was ok. Any why did he save Butcher? (apart from Plot reasons) Was a bit surprised about Elizabeth Shue at the end. Wasn't expecting that! But Butcher, really? Seems like Becca wasn't that well hidden. could have tried harder...

Erin Moriarty really reminds me of Anna Paquin. I have not read the comics but this show was excellent. Except for Karl Urban's accent, which started off as mostly his own and descended into Dick Van Dyke levels of cocknev over the course of the show. He is fab, but that was really distracting.
  14. I have to say, after each episode in season 1, I read a synopsis to try to help the confusion, but I found it easier to keep track in season 2. Can anyone answer, why did older Jonas wash his hands of Hannah? They seemed to be on the same page, then he did the whole you dont need anyone speech. What did I miss?
  15. I found the pair of them just distasteful. (which I suppose was the point!) but not funny at all. I was more interested in finding out what had happened to Jimmy and Gretchen. The whole Paul/fertility storyline makes me feel a bit ill. Did anyone think the threesome scene was a shout out to the Handmaid's tale? (The positioning, the color of her negligee, and the fact that no one got their kit off. Becca was the one in the position of power there though....
