  1. Who is the girl with the weird hair with the white streaks in it?
  2. I'd love to watch Season 3--what year's team would that be? And what is ITVBe? On another note, I just love most British TV on netflix--especially Doc Martin!
  3. I have watched MTT since its inception. I do not live "vicariously" through the show or this board, but I enjoy both so much! I never got to be a cheerleader. I have never danced. I do not have children (just animals). I just love to watch dance unless it is that new fangled "snakey" stuff. All that being said, I love hearing the posts from the "insider" about what "might happen." I understand why more cannot be said. Wants to make me watch the shown even more and I appreciate all of it.
  4. Remember a couple years ago the TCC that didn't wear the correct outfit on the correct night? Did she make the team? She "forgot" or something.
  5. I don't mind Melissa anymore, especially since her appearance is more professional. If I were one of the TCCs, I would think of how far she has come, from a little scaredy cat girl to a confident woman, and perhaps think "I can do that too." Sometimes I have to remember these are just kids! In my opinion, today's 18 - 20 yr. olds are nothing like those of 20-40 years ago.
  6. Gosh--11 girls likely to be cut--that is terrible pressure to be under. Frankly I am amazed that any of them can keep up the schedule and have the technique so perfected. I don't watch football and don't see them on the field but what I have seen on video depicts a team of cheerleaders that are about perfect at what they do. I've heard more than one TCC say "it's harder than I thought it would be." I wonder if they get yelled at like on Dance Moms.
  7. I loved Neal McCoy's music during his time, but he certainly is nothing to write home about either. I forgot to include "bless his heart."
  8. Yes, and CMT really ran with it. Almost every clip showed her diddling with her hair. She seems very sweet and I wonder if this sort of embarrassed her.
  9. So glad Jay got rid of those dreadlocks (or so it appears from a couple of photos).
  10. I think Amy has been labeled as such because Kitty called her out at class for having a "bitch face." As in "don't give me that bitch face because I said something to you." Is one of the Shelbys ya'll are talking about the one who was cut in TC last year after the uniform fittings? During the uniform fittings Kelli said she looked anorexic and her head was too big for her body.
  11. Oh I forgot something--on Amy's tears. I know it is very embarrassing to be a "crier." I am one too. I speak in a certain venue often and served as president of an organization and had to host banquets and give speeches. I swear I tear up at the slightest thing. I hate it. This might be Amy also. A friend told me I was just a crier and it would never change. And it hasn't.
  12. Does Michelle Keyes always make "hard" or "masculine" pieces? Sometimes when fame is involved you start taking more chances with your product. I think her pieces are too masculine and not "pretty."
  13. I like to root for the underdogs so Auto Amy will probably be on my hopeful list. But her kicks appear to be very low in her solo. The girl posing with her husband--no. Too pageant-y or something. Kelli doesn't like "pageant" answers either. Why is S1 and S2 just "gone?"
  14. Anyone notice that Danielle seems to be parting her hair straight down the middle now instead of that flippy from the side style she had to keep fiddling with?
  15. Not sad to see Kat go. The signature leg pose is not a reason to be in TCC. Caila's irresponsible behavior can be used as a good example of what can happen if rules are broken. I'd like to know if Kelli and Judy are readily accessible by the girls or if immediately upon being cut they are unable to speak with them in person or by phone or email. In other words, do cut vets get to discuss reasons or anything like that or are they just toast?
  16. Personally I think Madeline has more of a DCC look than Kat. Kat doesn't look DCC at all. She looks scrawny or something. Those dances all of them are doing now--I guess I am older--but to me that's not dancing--it's just gyrating like a snake slithering in the grass (I live on a farm).
  17. What does "chasing the choreography" mean? It sounds as if the dancer doesn't know it and watches what another one does before she does it.
  18. Wow--you can see just how differently the girls dance by watching several in a sequence. I have no technical eye but I don't think Amy will make it to training camp. Her kick was mediocre and she danced all over the floor. I cannot remember who I watched next but she seemed to go in fast forward mode with her arms. I did like Selena. I thought Selena was much better than Madeline but I am rooting for Madeline to make it to TC and be a DCC. She has much improved.
  19. Very surprised at the number of girls this age with breast implants. It is so very obvious in some of the photos.
  20. New to this forum but do watch the girls dance on Dance Moms. My favorite moment is when McKenzie said she just wanted to sit on the sofa and eat chips. I've enjoyed watching her grow. I never got to take dance but I don't think I could have endured the criticism. Had my parents had the money I would have loved to take dance lessons. Someone made a comment about how many dancers really go on to acting. What about Xenia Goodwin of Dance Academy and those dancers who had supporting acting roles? Are any of them considered "good" actors? I loved Dance Academy and am looking forward to the reunion that has been recently funded.
  21. Since the topic of trying out has come up and dance experience, I thought of a question I'd like to ask. There are a few shows on TV dedicated to dancing. I guess the most popular is Dance Moms. I will confess I record it to watch the girls dance. It has been fun watching McKenzie grow up and actually begin maturing into a dancer from such a young age. I record it so I can fast forward through the Moms and the drama (most likely faked to make the show more popular). Is this the type of dance experience needed to try out for DCC? I think I am asking if this is the type of dance studio a girl dances in all her young life and then tries out for DCC? And are dance teachers really that mean to students?
  22. Don't know if everyone introduces themselves but after watching this show and reading the old and this forum since S1 here I am. I'm just past 60, live on a farm, have never danced or cheered in my entire life, never had a kid, but someone I love this show. I did want to be a ballet dancer if that counts! Will be posting a few questions also.
