  1. One option is Felicity on the run/arrested due to her involvement with Helix. I don't think it will be that because I don't think that would count as a big cliffhanger in Guggenheim's eyes. While I don't think this will be the cliffhanger, but I think this has a strong chance of happening in the final ep (since they talk about major consequences). I think the cliffhanger will be a flash forward. No evidence, just what I feel like will happen. What the flash forward will be to, I have no idea.
  2. I vaguely remembered she said in the notes for one of her other stories that English isn't her first language, so I double checked and that is correct. I'm just reading it for the feels also. I've sometimes felt that Oliver could be doing more to get himself out of the situation, but honestly I don't care that much because it's a sweet story where Felicity and Oliver are both likeable people. Season 5 of Arrow has pretty much put me off anything for Oliver/Felicity that is even vaguely related to current in-show events so AU is pretty much the only thing I read these days. The more AU the better. (FiCoN excluded - I ditched that one a number of chapters ago because I feel like the authors have successfully created a very unlikeable version of Felicity which is a shame since she is my favorite Arrow character)
  3. I find the whole thing odd, but things rarely make sense on Arrow so it is like icing on the cake of ridiculousness. This seems like a way to mollify fans but also to annoy almost everyone? If you just like KC the actor whatever the role, then you're probably good. But if you like KC as BC and Laurel well then she's going to be neither of those things. If you like Dinah as BC then you'd have to be annoyed that another metahuman with a Canary Cry is coming to possibly suck up screen time or horn in on the BC role? And if you didn't like BC or Laurel well now instead of one person filling that role there's two of them - a BC and an evil!Laurel. I have nothing paricularly against KC but she isnt the strongest actress so I can't see her being the season big bad. Which either makes her an evil minion or on track for a redemption arc with whatever illogical actions from Oliver that will be required to being that about.
  4. I'd say it's pretty certain she'll start off siding with Chase in ep 5.22. Then she'll either: continue into season 6 as a baddie, or some how Oliver will make some heartfelt speech to her (this season or next) and she'll turn to the light and season 6 will be about her redemption. My preference is baddie and logically that makes sense, but Arrow and logic don't really go together.
  5. I don't particularly care about KC one way or the other. I'm not a fan of KC or Laurel at all, but don't really hate her character either. Just seems hard to believe that they would keep bring her back over and over and over again if they truly despised her. Or she has the best agent or the best blackmail material in the world. In which case - well done Katie's agent. It seems pointless to me to bring her back, but keep bringing her back they do.
  6. Hmm, so they apparently hated KC so much that they brought her right back again as a series regular. LOL.
  7. After that stuff from Mericle (and isn't she the one who wrote 5x20?), I think 5.20 isn't going to do much more for Olicity than make them friends again, possibly moving them on from romance forever, or possibly leaving them ambiguous once again. Oliver is what, 3 episodes from being tortured and now understands he likes (or liked) killing people? Felicity is in trouble/will be in trouble with Helix. This hardly sounds like fertile grounds for romantic reconciliation. It's going to be friendship all the way in 5x20. I think the flashback sex is 1) another "keep the shippers watching" while at the same time having no romantic forward movement moment like the pointless 5.09 flashback; and 2) an opportunity for the writers to move more blame in Felicity's direction since I assume she slept with Oliver and then rejected him (note - blame from the writers perspective, not me, since I'm 100% on Felicity's side). I think they'll leave their options open for season 6 with only vague hints to keeps the shippers eagerly tuning in for season 6. What happens in season 6? Who knows? Based on the current season I wouldn't hold my breath for anything good.
  8. I really hope that they're going to make this a something untrue said as a result of torture rather than, say, something he liked in the past but he's totally killing people now for honourable reasons cause frankly if he was ever killing for enjoyment, past or present, that makes Oliver ireedeemable to me. You can't change that.much. If you liked killing in the past and you're still killing? Well deep inside you still enjoy it but get to dress it up as heroics. When what you really are is a murderer who deserves to be locked up for the rest of your life.
  9. MG also said 5x05 had a HUGE OLICITY scene and we know how that went.
  10. Yeah, not sure if that is what SA is talking about, but I think Wild Dog and Tinah are very likely to be regulars next season. WD because for some inexplicable reason the writers love him and Dinah because she's BC and the female cast is so small.
  11. Or will keep vigil at the hospital for every second she's there. Paralyzed fiances can be left alone for days on end but I assume Oliver will be fully present and devoted to the girlfriend that basically no one cares about. Is the Oliver to the rescue part just speculation or based on a spoiler? Just wondering if I'd missed a spoiler somewhere.
  12. I'd love Felicity's storyline to actually end up being more than C plot a couple of times and to have an impact on the season, but I have low expectations. I do think they are going to have her realize she was wrong and ask for forgiveness. But I don't think it will be forgiveness about Olicity getting back together, cause I think Olicity are totally done. It will be about Felicity begging for forgiveness for going after Prometheus, cause I think they won't let her actually have a win there. Rather she won't have any effect or will make a mistake and and will have to beg for forgiveness for daring to do something on her own. I bet she needs to be rescued by/assisted by Dinah too.
  13. Yeah, they don't bother me either, apart from the fact that it makes Oliver look a bit like a moron. They'll be done by the end of the season. It's completely obvious she's not long term. IMO, she's just the rebound so when they move on to Oliver/Dinah, people can't claim she's the rebound and to allow Oliver/Tinah to have the friendship (hey she's already his confidante one ep in), before they move on to starting the romance in the final couple of eps/or season 6. Or, alternately if you're still utterly convinced that Olicity still has a chance of happening again, it's so he can learn...I dunno... something valuable about relationships, so they don't fail the next time round.
  14. LOL. So she's already Oliver's confidante. They're already off on their own little side missions that Oliver didn't tell Felicity about. Felicity already thinks they slept together. And we're one episode in. Can't wait to see where they'll end up by the end of the season.
  15. Be prepared to see that pattern repeat (minus Talia) often from here on out
