  1. Personally, I would be HUMILIATED if someone (not family) bought all of my children shoes and clothing. I would take that as an outward sign that I’m failing as a parent and others see that. My mom would buy my kids their school shoes but it was because she liked doing it and it was meant to help me with one less thing on my very lengthy to do list. Not because I couldn’t.
  2. The Keller genes run deep. The littlest pecan looks JUST like grandpa Keller. Is this the one they squeezed into the back of a toy dump truck for a photo op?
  3. She probably thinks that she is above all that because social media is a technological arm of their "ministry" and she is "leading people to the lord" and "prasing JeeSAUCE" with every post. I have an hypothesis about the Kellers. I think that they were so happy to get Nathan married off to ANYONE who would take him that they overlook a LOT of what Jilly Bean does and says. I'm pretty sure that their reputation has been severely tarnished in IBLP circles, what with Josh-U-ah's antics with other women (all Anna's fault, as per their belief system...never mind the guy is a freaking perv) and the other Keller kids who strayed from the flock, had children out of wedlock, and just generally didn't follow their parents headlong into the cult. The only thing that could be keeping them socially afloat is the fact that Priscilla is married to fundie royalty and Esther is hitched to a full-time missionary (um...) and living life in Africa with their umpteen children. So any legit fundie hitching would be seen as a good thing, despite the thought that they have to deal with the Rods for the rest of their lives.
  4. Is she modeling the same footwear as MeChelle Duggar? I didn’t know that Jilly is missing a back muscle too...what a coincidence!!!
  5. The baby trains will never stop until they have to. And even then, they still try. There seems to be a certain glory in this belief system associated with the idea of martyrdom via childbirth. If they are told that they need to chill out on having more kids for their own health and safety, they would rather die trying to have more than to give it a rest.
  6. So yeah...on the topic of Janessa's third birthday at Chuck E Cheese...this always was a "thing that makes me go HMMMMMM". Isn't the whole premise of Chuck E Cheese basically gambling, but geared towards kids? Hear me out. So you convert real money into chips/tokens in order to "play" a game. You test your skill/luck at said game and you could POSSIBLY win tickets, which can then be converted to overly priced prizes. If you hit big, you win big. Sounds a little like Vegas Jr. to me. So some of the games are guaranteed payouts, such as the games geared towards younger players. Others, not. You pump money into these games and it's the same areas of the brain that are responding as when someone gambles. So if gambling is such a heinous sin, why is this form of gambling acceptable to the Rods? For people who take the Bible so dang literally, this is kind of a no-brainer, I would think? But I guess as long as you bring ONE person at the Skee Ball to Jee-sauce, all sins are forgiven.
  7. I remember seeing some not-too-long-ago pics of them eating dinner out. There was a photo of Janessa eating her dinner off of a napkin that was lying open on the table. No utensils, no plate, using fingers. And I remember fruit or veggies (carrots, maybe?) being involved. But again, is this a matter of Jill infantizing Janessa or something much bigger, like developmental issues that they can’t ignore or pray away?
  8. So many questions!!! 1. If Timmy is at this fundie hookup event, why is the light on in his trailer? 2. Who is taking care of Tim’s dog (already asked, but asking again for emphasis)? 3. If this is a Cleghorn daughter, and the Rods just met them, why are they attending the wedding??? Isn’t that incredibly gauche to attend the wedding of someone who you just recently met? And were the invites willingly given or were enough hints “dropped” that one was reluctantly given? 4. Whyyyyyy is Renee wearing a modesty t shirt under her dress??? Girl, that neckline is high enough... 5. So glad to hear the wedding was God-honoring!!!! Omg I can finally sleep now, knowing it wasn’t a God-dishonoring wedding!!! 6. Who really needed to see a screen capture of the wedding, featuring her kids walking down the aisle to their seats?
  9. Do tell...so maybe Jilly’s “pink drink” is actually powdered drink mix...OR she actually drinks the crap herself and gives the Rodlets the lemonade and tells them it’s Plexus. They don’t know the difference and it’s good grooming for future Plexus customers/suckers.
  10. He looks like he is still ON the horse. Those are some seriously bowed legs. Photoshop is a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands...
  11. I’m absolutely shocked that there are no Nurie updates. No fruit comparison pictures. I wanna know if the Baby nurthan is currently the size of a cherry or a plumb!
  12. I took a stab at deciphering this post. ”I can’t believe that I have a 21-year-old child and I’m THIS YOUNG LOOKING! I was too busy doing prep work for my upcoming superspreader conference (ROOMS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!) to wish him a happy birthday so I suppose I will now. Timothy, I love and appreciate the money you bring in and I’m glad you made the “righteous choice” to listen to your father and me, dump that heathen, brazen woman who lured you into her web of deception, and come home where we can run your life. Your father and I will find just the right woman for you...one who will worship and bow to us as your spiritual and life leaders. Don’t forget I will always watch every move you make and treat you like you are 9 years old. Forever and ever.”
  13. Because Kelly is there to be a helpmeet to Gil, not the kids. Once they were born and raised, not his problem anymore. And aren’t there (semi) littles at home still? That’s wimmin’s work. Not his problem.
  14. I don’t see a move to Florida for them any time soon. They haven’t worn out their welcome in Ohio yet. However, the point that the Brando isn’t big enough could be a selling point. And the stimulus money could go to pay for moving the print shop. Ugh. And with a move to Florida they would be closer to their grift hotspots and Jill can assume her birthright as GLAMma. Ok. Yeah. I change my view. Move to Florida imminent.
  15. Those look to me to be expensive collector dolls. The kind that people spend hundreds of dollars on. At least, from the photos. One is in a wooden case, even. How long before the dolls are added to best mama’s prize closet or incorporated into the decor of the Barndo?
  16. Nearly a MONTH????? I wonder what Ma and Pa Keller had to say about that. I didn’t see a whole lot of pictures of Jilly Bean and her Hunk with their “sweet bffs” so I suppose the Kellers put a limit on Rod time. And a budget. Or is prison ministry so hot right now in the age of Covid that the Keller menfolk were too busy at the state penn to host them very much in their lovely home? Or did the rich pastor life, with the big, beautiful boat, supersede any fun with the less wealthy Kellers? So here’s another thing...who is running the asylum print shop while Hunk is travelin’ and preachin? I’m assuming the print shop didn’t just stop taking orders. And those smiley face tracts don’t print themselves... One more thing before I slither back into the shadows...I wonder if they were able to grift enough cash and/or materials to build the addition to the barndo?
  17. I’m happy that Nurthan waited for a baby. They needed this time to get to know each other and to bond as a couple. I’m just hoping beyond hope that they blaze their own path with this child and not follow the Pearls with their sick child rearing “methods”. And that Nathan puts his foot down about grandparent intervention with this pregnancy. Nurie needs healthy food and no stress, not three Plexi a day and gramma flying in to cause a ruckus.
  18. In RE: the EMR thing. What I fail to understand is, why do these people do the lesser profession/training/degree? Why not go all the way and become an EMT? Or an RN? It’s like they have no desire to do anything all the way. It reminds me of someone lobbing a wet dishrag towards home plate.
  19. So I’m kinda late to the party, but I just got Hulu and started binging The Handmaiden’s Tale. It’s utterly terrifying to think how the things that folks like the Rods and Duggars and Plaths espouse could ACTUALLY happen. That people are pushing for a society where women are uneducated subordinates where the best you could aspire to is a husband who treats you like a human being. I know this is a work of fiction but GOOD LORD I can see so many parallels between this show and the lifestyle these folks lead IRL (from what we see...it may actually be dead-on for all we know). It gives me the chills.
  20. Now I’ve been sucked into the Plath vortex. Good lord. These two have NOT prepared their children for life outside of the farm. In any way, shape or form. But maybe that was the idea...to keep them there so they would all be like the Duggar’s with most kids on the compound for life. I feel so sorry for the kids: Ethan...good LORD this man is so naive and childlike. Olivia is enjoying introducing him to the world...but for how much longer? Once their first baby arrives this will grow REALLY tiring, having to raise the equivalent of two kids. Micah is extremely handsome. And people will take advantage of this, and him. He is waaaaay too naive for his line of work. I’m hoping that he stays on the straight and narrow. Otherwise he is going to wind up in a place he may not want to be. Moriah is doing well for herself, best I can tell. But she has a long way to go. I’m hoping Olivia will mentor her through this transition. But Olivia has her own issues to contend with. Lydia is the family Jana. Kim and Barry will never let her go. Poor girl does it all, so why let her go? Kim and Barry need to wake the hell up. Sorry that Kim grew up with an alcoholic parent. Sad, but it happened. Take the lessons and, instead of hiding your kids from the real world and instill in them the tools to understand how to cope with it. You have basically left them to the wolves. I grew up in an abusive alcoholic home. I am neither of those things. Because I am capable of seeing right from wrong. And I’ve prepared my children to see the same. And leave your married kids the hell alone. Ethan is head of his own household. Let him decide if he wants a dang Coke with his Cap’n Crunch! The day he married Olivia your oversight of his life ended. Get over it. You are the problem here, not them! You gave up your “piece of heaven on earth” farm to move to town so you could maintain your illusion of control. Disgusting. They are both fractured individuals who need therapy in the worst way.
  21. It looks like she forgot to grab appropriate shoes and borrowed them from the next smallest-footed sibling.
  22. Ok, so on the prayer posture...I’m Greek Orthodox. I completely recognize this...In certain times of the year (mainly Holy Week prior to Easter) this is a thing. It’s signifying complete and total surrender to God and it’s really an “I’m not worthy” gesture. As they believe they are praying for the future of humanity here, this makes sense. 🙄 That being said, I do totally believe this was staged. I could see the older Rodlets doing this but the littles? They have no clue what it means. Here’s the other thing, Jill. Christians are not supposed to worry about this kind of stuff anyway...so quit the politics. I will just leave this here: Psalm 146:3: Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
  23. Holy crow...Justin is courting!!! https://www.tlcme.com/shows/counting-on/articles/justin-duggar-is-courting-- One less lonely J...
