Right! I completely forgot about that. Thanks. If I have it correctly It could be a fun plot that's a little different than usual as well as show what the Thinker can do. They could have the rest of the team working from the inside, while Barry and Iris work from the outside of the City. How do you guys think they'll introduce The Thinker? After all the comments they get about the villain always being their friend or someone they know first they might want to try something different, but what could that be? Introducing him as a villain from the start it would be very hard to sustain for a full season.

The Auction for this picture is now up. Current bid is $355

Yeah. Maybe it was just an oversight and he meant Earth 2? Or maybe it's something that'll be explained at the beginning of the season. Are Wally and Jesse still officially together? I don't remember what they said when they said their temporary goodbyes. If they get married during the crossover, they might spend ep 4x09 trying to leave on their honeymoon, but they constantly need to deal with things. And then at the end of the episode they finally leave. In the comics Maybe they could do something like that. We see Barry and Iris leave Central City and then the mid season cliffhanger is

Article/essay. It's hard to pick out quotes for this, so I just picked out a few here and there, but I'm not sure how much it flows out of context: Why Black Women Need Iris West

I guess I can get that, I'm trying to be in wait and see mode for the Iris and Caitlin friendship for the most part. I just hope that they actually allow it to be something that grows and not zero to hundred. I don't think they're saying goodbye to Wells. Since he's not a new Wells whose background needs to be introduced they might be taking the opportunity that gives to explore another side. It'll be nice to see some different sides to Harry. It's kind of strange that the first glimpse we saw of him in that elevator on Earth 2, doesn't seem to match up with the Harry we got to know (though I know that was before Jesse got kidnapped by Zoom). They seem to be forgetting that the only reason Jesse went to be The Flash on Earth was because Jay was in the Speed Force. Jay has been back on Earth 3 for six months, wouldn't she have gone back to Earth 2? Since she used to be The Flash there and they don't have a Flash now (as far as we know). I'm also wondering about Wally. Keiynan hasn't been in Vancouver since the end of filming episode 3 (that's what I heard) and they started six today and he's probably still in Japan. Maybe Wally decides he needs some space? Or he tries to be The Flash on his own for a bit (in Keystone?) and then realizes he needs more training? Candice said they had big plans for Wally this season so I hope he gets good material.

Animated Barry and Iris. Pretty cool.

I get that there are people that feel it's too little too late to develop an Iris and Caitlin friendship, but at the same time better late than never? I agree that the KF thing will need to be addressed in that developing friendship. Who knows, If they don't go from zero to 100 in one episode, and maybe even have the characters acknowledge that they've hardly interacted on a personal level and acknowledge the KF thing, they might be able to sell it. And we don't know for sure that the Caitlin from the trailer is E1 Caitlin, right? I agree that maybe, at least in part, the wedding made them realize that Iris didn't really have any female friends for fun wedding stuff and bridesmaids and that the two regular women in the cast barely interact. Honestly I'm quite looking forward to this ladies night episode. If this is really Iris' party, I hope that means that this crossover Iris and Felicity will get to have some meaningful conversations (aside from the fun). I think it's Wally starring in the legends episode. Maybe the Legends team visit to fix the broken timeline or something like that. That scene with Barry and Iris looks so pretty! I understand why some people think it might be a dream because of the way it looks, but whose dream would it be? Barry doesn't know Iris cut her hair and Iris doesn't know about the new suit.

Teen Choice Awards news: Grant won! (He got loud cheers too.) Melissa won the Action Actress category. Grant didn't win Choice TV Villain. The Action Show award hasn't been awarded yet. Edited to add: The Flash also won Action Show!

No problem! It would have been nice to have another nomination! SpoilerTV Awards, The Flash and Grant are up (so far, they announce new polls every day) Vote for The Flash Vote for Grant

Grant for best action actor and best villain, Candice for best action actress, Danielle for best action actress...what are the other two again? Edited to add: Best action show too

Looking forward to it. Since Grant was barely? filming for the first episode, I think the emotional scenes will be tackling Iris' POV on what happened. In those new filming pics Iris is still wearing the engagement ring, by the way, so what she was wearing in the third episode was either her just wearing a pretty white top or trying on wedding dresses not a wedding ceremony. Or maybe a first attempt at a wedding ceremony, but I don't really think that for some reason.

New Article: Why Barry and Iris Deserve Their Happy Ending on The Flash

The Flash is the 7th most popular show of 2017 so far! Not bad :)

I find that a lot of people using the 'Iris is only a love interest' thing are really only doing it to demean her. They don't really care about the character or even actively want her gone and are using this as an excuse. It becomes really obvious that that's the case because when she gets more to do, like say being the leader at Star Labs, they also get angry because of all the Iris West or they find another reason why that's not good either. In short, they're just looking for a reason to complain about her and will latch onto whatever seems convenient to make Iris seem less (and usually it's in trying to make another character seem better). I'm sorry if this seems overly critical, I know there are people that genuinely want better things for her, but fandom has made me pretty skeptical of people claiming a character 'deserves better' and statements like that, because there are all kinds of agendas. I've said it before, but people suddenly being 'concerned' for Iris now that she is with Barry who were ok with stuff like her being sidelined in season 2a make me wonder.

I see the official WestAllenweddingwatch has begun! ? That's a very pretty top, too bad we can't see more of it though, because right now it looks a tad too casual for a wedding dress to me. Or maybe I just have different expectations of Iris' wedding dress. I like the idea of her trying on Wedding dresses. One of her snaps showed she was wearing a top that may or may not be the same one as this one while filming in Star Labs. Apparently they (and by they I mean the show, unknown which actors) were also filming at a church, but not sure if it was on the same day that Candice was wearing this white top, because apparently Keiynan, who took the pics, was in LA the day they filmed at the church (I don't know how long it takes to fly from Vancouver to LA, but if it's not long perhaps he flew back after work)

Random thought I just had: was there ever any talk of bringing Cassandra Savage back? I have vague memories that there was quite some press during her appearance (but I might be wrong), but maybe her appearance wasn't successful (because of her connection to Vandal, who I think wasn't very popular?)

It was Melissa that mentioned two big events that will make people happy (at least implied), if both of those are romance related definitely happy. Like I said, I'm not at all against a double wedding, but I'm not sure how the info we got today necessarily implies a double wedding. I do think 'romance in the air' as a tease implies romance for more than just one couple. So maybe the main ship for each show. Not sure which that would be on legends, Nate/Amaya? Watch it be an entirely different couple after all this speculation ?

About possible comic crossover events used as inspiration, what about Zero Hour: Crisis in Time? (mind you, my comic book events knowledge is very, very limited and I only just stumbled upon this reading up on the Legion of Super-Heroes, so maybe it doesn't make sense at all or maybe this is not a very known/popular one). Here's (part of) the plot according to Wikipedia: This is from DC Wikia: Obviously it would only be the inspiration, but they could tie it in to time being broken from legends of tomorrow and Supergirl, if they're doing Legion of Super-Heroes. Anyway, back to reading up on events. If I find something else I'll post.

I don't think it'll be identity crisis, but if it is it would happen in one of the crossover episodes and Barry and Iris' will have made their wedding plans long before that (if they do, but it sounds like they're still planning the wedding) so there decision will have nothing to do with Identity crisis . But I don't think it's Identity Crisis, Grant even said about the crossovers 'it sounds like this one will hopefully be more fun'. I don't think a crossover centered around the death of someone can be considered fun. Plus I feel like they wouldn't use 'romance is in the air' as a tease for something so heavy. Plus as I understand, identity crisis was really controversial. That said, the wedding is just as likely to be Olicity, since we did have Stephen Amell saying 'something like that' when asked about a crossover wedding and there's pretty much absolute certainty that they will be getting married this season, while I strongly think WestAllen will also get married this season after SDCC, but we don't have absolute certainty. Personally I'd prefer it to be WestAllen, but I think either could make for something really cool during the crossover. It's not very popular here, but I don't think a double wedding would be the worst thing ever. I just love weddings! And whoever's wedding it will be, it will probably afford the other couples moments as well: who catches the bouquet? a couple not in a good place might get an angsty dance/angsty glances during the vows etc etc. Edited to add: if there is a wedding, of course, but I'm like 90% that there will be a wedding.
