  1. Oh dear, the Twitter feeds - they are very good at staying in character. My husband and I have started a game called "Poppy or Georgie" where we find something ridiculous to quote and see if the other person can guess.
  2. I find this show adorable. It's mocking, yes, but in a gentle sort of way. Poppy and Georgie are unbelievably cute and I love how everyone who interacts with them is slayed by their charm.
  3. I think this was the first episode to make me really angry. They threw out that poor old woman because it costs too much to take care of her properly. I hope this season ends with Figueroa in disgrace.
  4. Yeah, there's a conversation to be had about how we giggle about a young man being fondled but are horrified when it's a young woman. I just don't know if this is the place. Like, I'm with you but not wanting to run afoul of the rules. David?
  5. I was at a party a couple years ago, where a few of us ended up bringing up diagrams on the computer to explain this to a man in his 20's. We were all really trashed, so I don't know if the lesson stuck.
  6. I was afraid the old woman would find up freezing to death; very glad they went with the comedic ending instead. It's also nice that this season has been showing more backstory on the characters that isn't focused on their crime. We saw that with Suzanne as well.
  7. If you're a bad person, so am I. Morello is just the sweetest little nutbar.
  8. As a person who really wants Lester to get caught - I've watched plenty of shows that are all morally ambiguous. I want Molly to win here.
  9. I just could not deal if they kill off Gus or Molly. I don't think that's likely, though, I think Lester will get his just deserts.
  10. The foster kid could be 16-17, lots of boys get their growth spurt before/around then. It made me so happy to see Gus delivering mail, like he was always meant to do.:)
  11. Random time skip in the middle of the episode? The fuck? (but happy to see Gus and Molly together)
  12. While I'm interested at least partially because it involves romance, unlike Supernatural. Different strokes, etc.
  13. Fridging? Check. Family secrets? Check. I kind of liked the star-crossed lovers and the new hero is a likable enough actor. Back-door pilots are usually not that good anyway, because of all the necessary exposition. Has this been picked up for a season? I'm willing to give it a try.
  14. That was not satisfactory. The show wrapped up nothing at all.
  15. Hershel was the person who most retained his humanity through all of this. So of course he had to die at the hands of the man who had embraced brutality. I hope the show doesn't forget how much he meant to everyone still alive.
  16. Let's talk about those who didn't survive. I'll offer up Mika first. She was a gentle child, and the only one who knew just how insane her sister was. She loved science, and in a better world would have grown up and gone to college and made a good life for herself. In this world, her death was inevitable (although the nature of it was something noone else could have expected).
  17. I'm not entirely sure on the timelines, but I think the ZA has been going on for about two years now. They spent the entire gap between seasons 2 and 3 (most of Lori's pregnancy, so 6 months maybe) wandering around scavenging, only to end up at the prison we saw in the S2 finale. So they were wandering around a very limited area. In S4, the trip to get medicine was, if I remember correctly, about 50 miles, and it was treated as a treacherous mission that they had little hope of surviving.
  18. Yeah, he strikes me as a guy who is actually pretty smart, but has limited social skills, and made up a story so stronger people would protect him. It's working out so far.
  19. I'm not strong, have poor eyesight, and am also am not very coordinated. So, ignoring the fact that these traits leave me unlikely to survive at all, I can rule out guns, swords, or anything heavy. It seems that a baseball bat is the only prudent choice.
  20. Perhaps there's a Terminus entrance test. Who will cheat to get an A? Obviously Rick finds out, and goes through a brutal mental struggle because his conscience tells him to turn in the cheater, but how can you tattle on a friend? Later, there will be cookies.
