  1. that form of caramel must have better adhesive and strength qualities for creating that type of structure
  2. When I heard Nelson say something about there being no lifejackets and then could hear him gasping to breath, I felt for him and also thought that there should have been lifejackets available for those that wanted them. If you don't consider yourself a strong swimmer and then have to swim over deep water that is easily a panic-inducing situation.
  3. while I didn't like the redemption arc last time, the fact that it gives Darrell the opportunity to return has changed my mind about it. And I am glad that the whole 'dirty thirty' thing is a bit of a misnomer, because it is good to see Jenna, Leroy and Darrell in the mix.
  4. That top 10 list of challenge 'atrocities' was a great summary of some of the more memorable malicious and ridiculous challenge moments. I am rooting for Jenna and Brianna- they are self-deprecating but they are good competitors and team-mates. I like the narrative arc of Brianna not wanting to be there and then turning that around and trying hard in the challenges. They don't insert themselves in other people's drama, have funny comments that aren't hurtful about other people and in general have an endearing sweetness to them. I think Cory is pretty adept at sussing out group dynamics and figuring out the politics of the game. And Mitch, like other folks have said, provides a good counterbalance.
  5. Likewise, I am glad to see Cohutta and Leroy. I miss having more guys with character on the Challenge like Landon or Brandon. I appreciate having a few folks on the show that can stay out of the drama and deliver a little side eye to those antics. Or even having someone like Devyn who isn't necessarily physically adept at challenges but is skillful at sussing out group dynamics and delivers some good one liners in the talking head portions. But I am still hooked and looking forward to seeing how it all goes down.
