  1. I haven't read through the entire thread so maybe someone else has this theory too but I believe Ray is the Warden. I've been re-watching the earlier episodes and when Elliot goes into Ray's office (and most guard's don't have offices) his Father says something like "Confessing won't help anyone.." So I believe if not the warden some one higher up than just a guard. I also think their is bit of a homage going on here to Shawshank... I will also add that re-watching the show with knowledge that he is in prison makes it even more interesting and of course a lot of things make more sense. You can see when he is in the "diner" other diners look like prisoners and are carrying trays... and many things that didn't take sense now do. It's like added another tasty layer to an already delicious meal! Brilliant really! I assume he is being held in connection to whatever happened over that period he can't remember... which I am guessing has to do with the missing Tyrell.
  2. Just not loving this version of the show at all. Much is cringe worthy, especially kids doing ballroom with adults. So many kids over do the facial expressions and the pre-interviews with Cat have me reaching for the remote to fast forward. They sound very rehearsed. All the critiques are overly positive and then the elimination is too painful.
  3. That Tommen was weak. I think that is a bit unfair, he should not have been King, it was not even his true birth right. He was a sensitive boy, thrown into a position where he was easily manipulated. He always wanted to do the right thing and his only real fault was having an actual heart. Seeing thousands of people die, including some he cared for deeply, he probably blamed himself and it was just too much.
  4. I will only add how much I loved this season! This show is simply brilliant and maybe my favorite of all time. I delayed watching last nights finale as long as I could because I did not want it to end. Now comes the year long wait of the new season... Those who criticize I think must be very young or have short memories... I remember shows like Land of the Giants and Lost in Space and even more recent fantasy shows like Xena ... nothing comes close. Seriously, it is hard to even find a comparison because there has never been a show of this caliber in this genre before. I'm just grateful to the producers and all involved that have made it happen!
  5. I get the passion of the posters have here, all of this just nods to how good a show it is, that people are so invested in these characters. I will also add that I came here because I could not stand all the nastiness on the IMDB board. Too many critics and haters and probably mostly people who rarely leave their basement and have never even attempted anything more creative than a coloring book. Yet they know how it could be done, written, acted or CGI-ed better.
  6. I guess you did not watch the preview for next weeks episode at the end of the show?
  7. Well I am battling a big ant infestation in my bathroom on the hottest day of the year (so far). I almost know how Jon Snow must have felt and could use Sanza and the Knights of the Vale right about now!
  8. They would have to know, who do you think put him in the kennel and told her the dogs had not eaten in 7 days? When Ramsey announced that at the meeting the day before after she had galloped off. She asked Jon "where is he" then the next thing we see is where he is, in the kennels. They (Jon and his crew) set it up for her and yes, possibly at her request, then let have her final say. From the previews for next week it looks like Sanza and Jon will have a conversation about how or when the Vale showed up... this portion is not finished yet. And whether it was calculated on Sanza's part or not. I have much respect for her outwitting Ramsey at whatever cost. Had Jon done the same, I don't think most would have had issue with it. As a few others mentioned, had it not happened that way, they all may have died.
  9. Yes, not only that but I believe they set it up for her to finish. Sansa had already galloped off when he told the others his dogs had not eaten for 7 days. So when she asked "where is he" just before the last scene, I assume that they put him in the kennels and told her what he had said about the dogs being starving. Letting her take it from there...
  10. I don't think Sansa knew Little Finger & the Vale would show up for sure or in time untill they did. We saw her send a Raven and assume she was asking but remember she wanted Jon to wait. Perhaps to see if the Vale would show up... but did not want to tell Jon in case they didn't... that is my theory. Also in the after show, they said, he stopped short of killing Ramsey cause when he saw Sansa he realized he wasn't his to kill... he chose to give her that. on the edge of my seat through out... from the Dragons to the Ramsey chow... :)
  11. I just discovered "The Great Interior Design Challenge" and am almost through season 2 via Youtube! Love it. They have 3 amateur interior designers take on a project and the winner moves onto a finals, I guess... have not gotten to that part. Each show is an hour, very detailed, not just about the challenge process but they go into the history of the buildings and the backgrounds of the contestants. I binged on about 5 eps yesterday. Just note they numbers in the order sequence do not always make sense but at the end of each they tell you where they will be next week. I was able to pair my youtube to my TV to watch it there and the quality is not bad at all.
  12. I know comedy is subjective but I still find it shocking that anyone could "hate" Mel & Sue. For me they are my favorite part of the show, the perfectly whipped cream on a tasty piece of pie. I would have loved to see them in this version. Clearly, ABC opted for American semi-celebs that they figured would be more recognizable to us. Oh well, they are trying but fall a bit flat imo. Still, I am enjoying it. Even though it does lack the charm (i.e.: Mel & Sue and all those talented but humble British contestants) and some of the drama of the original.
  13. I was just looking through all her cookware for Walmart... I think she spends a lot of time at Anthropologie! Deja vu!
