Blue began going over the comps thus far and counting days.  Jared:  "we have to count things?"  He then blew it off.

Add it to the list of things she doesn’t realize.

#432 Razvan can’t become a pilot while he’s on the plane to the US

#433 Ponytails are called that because they look like a pony’s tail. Ponies do not pull random strands of hair in their tails forward/sideways.

She's very pretty, and unlike some of the other women on this show, she's very chill. Doesn't add ridiculous, pout, cry, yell, scream, etc. She really doesn't show much emotion at all, except to scoff, smirk, or snicker-- extremely quickly-- but then in seconds returns to blank face. Not great TV, but a guys dream girl.

Which guy's dream girl shows no emotion besides scoffing/smirking/snickering?

I'm not a Cleo fan but I actually felt sorry for her in the second  bar. She made it perfectly clear to the viewers -  more than once - that she finds noisy, crowded environments overwhelming and stressful. Yet Chris, who knows she has autism, doesn't understand or respect this?

He asked her if she was overwhelmed there and she got offended that he asked.  She didn’t really express her discomfort to him until he started talking to other people.

@Drogo - don’t feel bad; my granddaughter is 9 months old today, so (relatively speaking) you’re still a pup.  😉

I can't wait to read her gems of wisdom on the Survivor threads once she hits toddlerhood.   Mazel mazel, good things!

  6. I want to say they've been together for two years and he speaks openly about marrying her and bringing her (and her son) to the US.  Also, he must have offered to pay for the repairs since they were going to meet a contractor and he knows Sheila's family has no money.   He says prior to the price quote that he loves her and he's happy to help her despite not being a rich man.

I just.. $1700 to fix the entire house her mom just died in due to its poor condition?  $1700 is nothing.  $1700 is replacing sheet rock for one wall in the US.  There are apps he can use to get $1700 advanced to him in minutes.  Go home and sell some shit, David.  Call everyone you know.

I would just never be able to tell someone I loved to "be patient"/"get a job" when they need money to fix a problem that just took their parent's life and I know they don't have the opportunities we do here.  I liked David, but he's lost me on this one.

I hope David was as uncomfortable with Sheila demanding his salary as I was. I'm only sorry he gave in and gave her the figure per week, which the contractor doubled +100. Hmmmmm.

I don't know, I think as adults considering marriage to one another it's not rude to want to know how much money the other person is bringing in.  Particularly if I'm from an area where work is hard to come by and pays next to nothing, and also my house is falling apart to the point that my mother just fell through the stairs to her death and we're on our way to meet the guy who can fix it for me.

I mostly just hope that no one in my family comes into the room when I'm watching this show so I don't have to attempt to explain what is happening on my television.

I watched this episode with my daughter last night and we were dying laughing.

All day she's been sending me video clips she took of the Nether Gorgon (who we initially thought was the Nether Lord.)

  9. The real problem here is why Cleo couldn't sit down and talk to Christian about this like a human being and instead resorted immediately to labeling him a psychopathic gaslighting manipulator who is ashamed of her and trying to keep her a secret (an incredible leap when someone went on TV to meet you, has admitted to intimacy with you, etc.)

He asks what she told producer and she hurls abuse at him, annihilates him to the producers/friends/her Lyft driver, then goes home with her teammate to double-team him (because whichever side is louder is right, I guess?)  Amazing too, that Cleo has issues processing when more than one person is speaking when her boyfriend's talking to other people socially but prefers to fill the room for a lovers' quarrel.

The most likely explanation is either a) their "agreement" wasn't as clear-cut for Christian as it was for Cleo or b) that Christian was characteristically tipsy when they discussed it and he didn't fucking remember what he was allowed to say the next morning.  He never denies they were intimate but he didn't think they'd discussed how they were going to talk about it, and therefore didn't feel like he lied- but she gave him no opportunity to say his truth before launching into his demonization. He straight up says this is causing him great stress and that it was a small misunderstanding that could have been solved with simple communication (but she iced him out in favor of these dramatics.)

I also really didn't like the way Cleo's body language changed when her friend was in the room like a battered spouse (shoulders slumped forward, hands fidgeting, looking at the ground.)

Christian, go home.  She's perfectly content to villainize you without any due process, and you don't know what she'll say about you (or to whom) next time.

Yeah… upon further reflection I’ll walk back some (not all) of my criticism of Jared’s gameplay, and lay that snafu on Reilly’s doorstep.  Reilly’s pulling Jared off the Block last week without first getting SOME promise or guarantee of reciprocity was a total rookie mistake.

Not to mention she didn’t make the original four nominations, so she had no starting blood on her hands, and she needed to take two off.  Adding to that, she removed Jared because she wanted to make sure Kirsten went home (and Felicia was the best pawn for that goal.)

It’s a shaky comparison for Reilly to make. The way she was acting gave “You were nominated last week and I won veto and used it on you” which just isn’t reality.
