  1. I don't think it's surgery, I think it's weight gain. She's starting to get a bit of a double chin. (No shade, I'm working on one myself)
  2. I interpreted that scene as she was taking off the necklace and laying down to die, which sent me into cat - startling fits of despair because I want Jon Snow back
  3. That lip sync! That LIP SYNC! I could not take my eyes off Chi Chi and I am a Thorgy fan. I swear by the end my mouth was open and I was waving my arm in the air while various cats looked at me askance. I was so, so hoping both could stay. Losing Thorgy hurt; I'd truly had her pegged for top three. And I couldn't help wondering what Acid Betty would have brought to this challenge; while not a fan of her personality I always loved seeing her perform (sans Nancy Grace part).
  4. Yes! That is exactly what had been going through my head during that scene! He just exuded "oh shit" to me.
  5. I really think you hit the nail on the head. that really explains it perfectly. She is a great artist and does well, she just needs to stay off reality shows for a while. (I really do like Sarah, anyone who got that excited about a Star Wars challenge has a place in my nerdy heart)
  6. Yeah, that's why it came across to me that it was more Casey's screw up. When they asked him about his order he seemed a little hesitant and unsure. Don't like that he was such a dick to the crew if it was his screw up. At least he understood that when someone is doing you a favor you try to make it easy for them and made that pretty clear to Josh. I think Casey was a bit embarrassed by Josh there.
  7. I was disappointed with Sarah this season. I've seen her work online and there really are some amazing pieces but she just seemed to flame out so fast. I don't think the pressure of the competition is for her. And her denial about any mistakes in her work strained my eye-rolling muscles.
  8. Ok, did I miss something? How were the missing rings the fault of the crew as opposed to Josh and Casey? It seemed to me Casey is the one who screwed up. I am not ashamed to admit rewound the Wild Bill ass reaming several times. The other captains giggling along just made that scene for me.
  9. It came across in The Bait that Keith recommended him to the TB
  10. I actually paused my TV and started bitching at Sig. "You corked his pots first! You even named the string after it!" (My poor husband just poked his head in the room and stared at me during this). I love Sig, but that was not his finest moment. I wonder if he was already starting to not feel well? Jake needs to fire his friend, that guy is an ASS. He reeked of entitlement. He's really not much of a friend, Jake.
  11. That was Phillip, Neal's son, who returned. He's the one Cookie Monster was first bullying who got his hand smashed.
  12. It's like marrying someone in the military, or a doctor, or policeman or something similar. You know what you're getting into so if you cannot deal with the schedule, don't marry them. I don't think it makes people bad spouses to concentrate on the job they have and value to take care of their families. The obvious solution is for Sig to find him a nice Norwegian woman from a fishing family!
  13. In all fairness, Keith wasn't blowing off work to party. I haven't always been a Keith fan but tonight his pain was something that seemed to just bleed from him. I hope that working the crab and being forced to concentrate on the job will help him. Seems like he will do better keeping busy than having time to brood. I wouldn't believe anything Elliot said without proof. Plus it was said he got his shares of the boat bought out and was basically fired - so how would he know?
  14. Per her Facebook, Bianca seems to have found the clown thing hilarious. I do believe she wasn't able to get back that day, because she did a lot of the pre-season 8 events the queens were doing and was at the premiere party so I truly don't think there is any bad blood. I cannot wait to see this crew on Snatch Game. I think the smartest move Derrick could make would be NOT to do Britney.
  15. Cleen is one of the returnees in the next Season! Not exactly an all stars, just 8 Ink Master veterans vs cannon fodder
  16. St. Marq is so obviously playing a character that I don't have time to be annoyed by him anymore. The tribute to Scott Marshall at the begining of the episode was when I learned he'd died. That was just so sad.
  17. So...Matt spent 35 hours putting his all into a backpiece for nothing? All that work and he is eliminated before the judges even saw it?! That is just bullshit squared. I really did not like that change in judging at all. You could tell Matt was just crushed. I also despise having the vote for best live tattoo BEFORE they even showed the tattoos! I guess we knew Chris was getting into the top two so at least so that slot wasn't wasted. I actually think we are going to see some great work next season. With the exception of St Mark none of the returning tattooists are terrible artists or rotten human beings. (I even like most of them!) I was pleasantly suprised (shocked) that they seemed to pick for talent instead of obnoxious reality personality! (Again, with the exception of St. Mark) I thought Chris's tattoo seemed monochromatic to me. From afar it seemed all the same tones. Krusmen's really impressed me, I was not expecting that from him. I think his win was well deserved. I've looked at Sarah'a work online since she was on the show and her work is really amazing. I think maybe the pressure of the competition got to her last time, but she has that experience under her belt now. If she can tattoo like she does off the show I think she would have the best shot to be the first female winner. Her instagram, for anyone wanting to check out her work: https://instagram.com/sarahmillertattoo/?hl=en
  18. That's the word I'd been fishing for...entitled. That pretty well sums up how I've come to view Swapnil.
  19. I agree so much with this. Someone on another thread said Swapnil seemed to have an attitude of being above the competition and I think that's true. He seemed (to me) to not really take it seriously and expect to just coast to the win. Tim has worked with and known these crew members for years so I think it was personal and that he was feeling a bit protective of them. His outburst at Swapnil was fine with me. I'd get frustrated too if someone just didn't seem to give a shit while the other designers were at least trying. (Albeit with varying levels of success) And I LIKED Swapnil and was rooting for him, at least until a few challenges ago!
  20. While I wasn't thrilled with the outcome (you let me down Craig!), I really liked the challenge where they had to redo one of their worst tattoos from earlier in the season. I would like to see that become a standard one for the end of the season.
