Season 8: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion
WindyNights replied to Eyes High's topic in Game Of Thrones
That's not actually true. Bran had empathy for Theon and the Night King. Bran gives Theon what he wants in his final moments and he Isaac says that the staredown between Bran and the Night King is Bran feeling sorry for him. -

"I see flowering hasn't made you any brighter," said Cersei. "Sansa, permit me to share a bit of womanly wisdom with you on this very special day. Love is poison. A sweet poison, yes, but it will kill you all the same." -

House Targaryen isn't his favorite house. House Stark is. He's said this before. No one wanted to believe him. -

Well Tywin mentions that whoever wins is going to start a thousand year dynasty and Cersei says the same thing. I can imagine that Bran lives a thousand years connected to a weirwood throne as God-King of Westeros with Sansa/Arya continuing the Stark line. The books even have it mention that Bran is going to outlive everyone. "ONE GOD, ONE REALM, ONE KING!" -

Well, it's over. Someone extremely reliable is pretty much confirming almost that Jon kills Daenerys: Hey, guys. Some of you might know me from The Walking Dead fandom. I help run a site called The Spoiling Dead Fans. We have been specializing in Walking Dead spoilers for years. Now, I typically don’t deal with GOT spoilers. I leave that to the Freefolk. However, recently one of our members (someone I trust) approached us with what they believe are legit GOT spoilers that they received from their own source. For the record, I personally CANNOT verify the accuracy of these spoilers. It’s not like TWD, where we have multiple sources that allow us to confirm information. I’m in the dark with these. But I know this community would appreciate them and can maybe make better sense out of everything. So I’m going to share what I have heard... Again, I’m not trying to say these are confirmed. I have no idea. However, they do align with some other things that have come out. I’ll let you guys draw your own conclusions. • Something happens to make the Unsullied go bat shit crazy. They rampage kill men, women, and children. Might be related to Missandei. • Tyrion is arrested on Dany's command but does not know his fate at this point. Though he wasn't seen again after this event from the source. • Cersei does die. Was not told if it was by Arya or if it’s Arya disguised as Jamie when asked. • Dany turns evil and that the actual ending is bittersweet. • When asked if Jon kills Dany and the Iron Throne is destroyed. Source said that it was the closest anyone has guessed. • Source asked what will happen to Bronn? It was suggested that he’d play a pertinent role. I might potentially learn a bit more later. I’ll be sure to share. -

They've echoed it last season a lot. If Daenerys attacks King's Landing with dragons then she's not different. She's more of the same. We know KL is being burned by dragonfire and the Red Keep goes kaboom so it's either Daenerys doing, Jon doing it or Bran warging a dragon to do it. Jon's not going to do it so it's either Dany or Bran burning down King's Landing so pray it's Bran or it'll be the final statement on Dany's worthiness to be queen within the context of the show. -

Isaac has refuted that Bran doesn't exist anymore: Isaac: There's a sense of … I wouldn't necessarily say "joy," but there's still a part of Bran in the Three-Eyed Raven. He remembers what it was like to be Bran. Usually, his mind is occupied with so many other things. But when he's there in Winterfell, surrounded by so much of his family and so many people he hasn't seen in such a long time, it certainly flares up the parts of his brain that are Bran. I think there's a flicker of him thinking, "Good to see you again. It's been interesting to see your journey." But I think it's all in the context of how interesting it's been to see how someone's life has panned out, the journey you've been on, the things you've seen, why you're here today and where you must go from here. It's not like Bran's going to sit down and shoot the shit for an hour with Jon. It's more like: "Nice to see you again. You've had an interesting journey — and you have an interesting journey still to come." -

Friki's saying that's he not confident in anyof his info anymore besides Tyrion's trial. So Jon and Dany are back on the chopping block. -

Isaac said that the Three Eyed Raven is above petty squabbles and on the side of humanity. And considering the words that TheinMs wanted to hear came from Bran, he has some amount of empathy still even if he's monotone about it. "Theon....you're a good man. Thank you." -

Bran by himself, nah. King Bran as an absentee king that uses his powers to help with Sansa as the one actually ruling though, that would work. -

The guy that leaked Arya kills the NK by getting the drop on him, Theon charging the NK and dying and Lyanna Mormont being turned into a wight also said Jon kills Daenerys (although not for any specific reason that he knows) -

Pretty much just luck of the draw. I mean in the books, all his siblings are wargs even Jon so it must be somewhat genetic but Bran seems to be the only one born a greenseer which is why the Three Eyed Raven is interested in him. -

Arya single-handedly made the dragons almost irrelevant to the White Walkers' defeat. Also made all this Prince That Was Promised stuff into a red herring. I didn't find it bad but felt it was anti-climatic. -

Explained in the books. 1 in 1,000 people is born warg. And only one in 1,000 wargs is born a greenseer. And Bran is an exceptionally powerful greenseer. It's noted even within the show that Bran is the first person to control a human being. Its like having the Force and Bran is Anakin Skywalker. -

I'm honestly pretty sure that the Lord of Light and Bran are the same person at this point -

Yeah, I think this is where it's going. Bran reveals he was masterminding a lot of plots so things can end up a certain way. But his endgame isn't an endgame that many characters want. So maybe Bran wants Dany dead so Jon can become king because Jon won't take on the duty with Dany there. And maybe, he wants Jaime alive so he can kill Cersei but he can die afterwards after that. -

Yo, I think it's literally one of the most obvious things in the world that Bloodraven wants Jon on that throne. He even calls Jon "king" through Mormont's Raven and its clear that he's watching over Jon. Bloodraven is a hardcore Targaryen-loyalist after all and a Former Hand of the King. He clearly sees Jon as his pick for that throne. And Bran would too as he's his cousin/brother. From Inside the Episode, they said that they decided that the NK should be killed by Arya 3 years ago (season 6)and Jon was too obvious. There's no NK in the books so this was their original solution to their original show-only villain. -

No. It's only for Starks. It'd be like burying Ramsay there since he was a Lord of Winterfell as well or burying Tyrion since he was an unofficial one. -

According to Cogman. Jaime (and by consequence Theon and the Hound) don't have redemption arcs. Cogman: I don’t believe in the term “redemption arc.” I don’t know what the fuck it means. Do we have redemption arcs? No, we live our lives. We make mistakes. We take two steps backwards after taking five steps forward. There’s no such fucking thing as a redemption arc. I don’t believe in it. And I don’t think Jaime is on one, necessarily. Jaime’s just living his life and changing. -

Read "A Song for Lya", guys. Bran goes through the exact same arc as Lyanna from that story. Extremely strong telepath meets an alien race and inadvertently commits suicide when said person melds with their hivemind which is a type of god. The Hivemind and the character become one. Maybe, Bran will be less robotic and more alien but he won't really be Bran anymore is what I'm saying. -

Isaac says that Bran is one the side of the living but he sees everything as different timelines and playing 4D chess that involves necessary things to happen for a certain outcome to occur(whatever that outcome may be). He's basically the Kwiserach Haderach from Dune or Doctor Strange. -

Interesting that Michelle thinks Arya isn't much of a Stark anymore and yet Bran, Sansa and Jon are and that Sansa is the one that represents Winterfell. -

Memory, Sorrow and Thorn aren't the main inspiration behind the Others more like a secondary inspiration. He came up with the concept for the Others, the Children of the Forest and the weirwood trees much before Memory, Sorrow and Thorne ever came out. You have to read Tuf Voyaging's Guardians to get it. But it's pretty much GRRM adapting his sci fi story for fantasy. -

Actually, Dany already agreed to help before he bent the knee. He really didn't bend the knee to save the North. He just did it because love and he felt she was worthy.
