  1. Liam simply spins on a dime; now he is back in love with Hope? Or could it be that he needs to keep both sides buttered since Steffy shut him down? I am disheartened that it seems Hope is backtracking. I don't want to see her with Thomas; in reality I see Thomas as a springboard to better things, but I really don't want to see her reconcile with Liam. My prediction: I think Steffy's terrified persona is due to her realizing on some level that she has feelings for Liam and wants to rekindle their life together. Hope and Liam will reunite, which will send a confused and distressed Steffy running back to Finn. At some point, Hope will find out how Liam had been telling everyone, including Steffy, about his great love for her, and how much he wanted her back because he should have never left her. Hope will see that as him clearly saying he chose liver over fillet mignon. Additionally, she and Finn will find out about the kiss in Paris and in LA, this will coincide with Liam finding out Hope shagged Thomas before they even signed the divorce papers. It will all explode like Mt. St. Helens, and will leave all four of them broken and angry and hurt. Hope will realize her mistake too late but tells Liam to go to his true love. Finn is devasted that Steffy kept stuff from him again and moves out of Cliff House, opening the door for Liam to move back in. This is when Sheila's dark genes will manifest in Finn, and he will start a campaign to ruin, hurt, or kill Liam. Sheila will see her son following her path in life and will be the one to stop him from doing anything horrible, effectively redeeming her, or partially redeeming her, and leading her to genuinely want to "get better." A stretch I know, but if they are going to keep her as a permanent cast member, they have to do something different with the character.
  2. Give it up folks; Liam's divining rod has already changed directions. Deacon in the mermaid tiara was everything.
  3. There are not enough hateful, ugly words in the universe to describe Liam. Why does Steffy look terrified of Finn and Liam? For some reason I believe Brooke is going to recreate their beach wedding from 1994.
  4. Taylor surprised me, I didn't really except her to tell Steffy to go running to Liam, but I did think she would be on board with her staying at Eric's. But I now find this scenario confusing. Ridge was making it sound like there was absolutely no security at Cliff House, yet I distinctly remember Steffy making phone calls after Sheila was released to beef up security. And even if they have none, why can they not get some now? Are we to believe the only safe place on the planet is Eric's house? A house that Sheila has repeatedly invaded over the last few decades and knows like the palm of her hand. Really, such sloppy writing. After all Finn has forgiven Steffy, things that really have no explanation and are not understandable; Steffy owes Finn another change to redeem himself from something that was understandable. Maybe not to her, or Ridge, or Liam, or Brooke, but they are not in Finn's position, and it kind of irritates me that he has to squash his feelings to placate is overwrought wife.
  5. Only watched the Steffy/Finn, Brooke/Ridge scenes. So, I guess the next logical step for Steffy is divorce, unless she intends to have a long distance marriage. I won't deny how annoyed I am at Finn, but I think he does deserve a chance to prove himself. When you consider how many chances Liam has been given. But, I read a little something that may or may not be true, that could lend a whole other flavor to things: I have said before how much I hate this version of Brooke, and after yesterday's remarks that hasn't changed. You listen to your life long emotional abuser, the man who has done the very thing your daughter is trying to avoid, but you won't believe her when she tells you she isn't interested in living that way?
  6. Liam is the dickiest, dick, that ever dicked. I loathe him. His outright dismissal of his decades long relationship with Hope, including their marriage, and their daughter, is repulsive. My wish is that Steffy reunites with Finn and shuts Liam's delusions down. But I fear what we will get is something happening to Steffy or one of the kids at Sheila's hands, and Liam is their savior. I also can see how Finn will not have had anything to do with Sheila, but Liam will be all over it, pounding it into Steffy's head that Finn has been hanging with his birth mom again. I don't know; I am just very grousey. This writing is leaving a foul taste in my mouth.
  7. As much as I am hating on Liam right now, I still cannot support Finn in this. I found his callous brushing away of what happened at the beach appalling. Liam is Kelly's father, at least as far as we know anyway, so he has every right to be pissed that Finn would put her in danger. And it isn't even about Sheila, Finn didn't know Sheila was there, it is about turning his back on Kelly to take a call and putting in earbuds. Sheila was not the threat here; Finn was. And to start about he is a doctor? What the fuck does that have anything to do with anything? HOWEVER That is the only thing I support Liam in, I found the rest of his dialogue so completely offensive I wanted to slap him into next year. He has spent most of his adult life with Steffy? Really? They had this great magical romance? Really? Was that before or after she screwed your father? If you had it to do over again, you would never let her go? Fucking, fucker, fucktard! You left her because she fucked your dad, and could have been pregnant by him, not because of some little misunderstanding. And didn't you run back to your philandering ex-wife when you thought you saw a puttycat? So completely and utterly destroyed by something that wasn't even real, that you ran to Steffy and hopped her bones? And didn't Steffy find herself once again in a situation of not knowing the father of her child? Only this time it wasn't between you and your father, it was between you and the man she had just told how much she loved. Yeah, Steffy is certainly all that and a bag of tasty chips. And your loyal, loving wife forgave your worthless waffling ass for it. But OH, OH, you cannot forgive her a kiss because it was "that one guy", like your dad is just some schmuck off the fucking street. Then, to say that you gave up all the wonders of life with Steffy to be with Hope? Acting as if you had sold your soul to the devil? EGAD! What a pathetic, needy, opportunistic, little ratman you are. Then, you have to hightail you ratass right over to see Steffy and fill her in with your version of the "discussion." Except, that was just a pretext to get to Steffy first to start heating up the toaster, so you will be a nice, hot waffle for Steffy to turn to when she makes the decision to divorce Finn. Finn is also out of line, not about Liam pressing his game, but that being the reason Steffy moved out and left him. It seems that Finn has a problem with taking responsibility for his actions. He does have a defensive attitude. If he wants to reconcile with his wife, he needs to reevaluate some stuff. And he needs to cut it off with Sheila completely and for good. Hope girl, you just keep staying the course, cause you know where Liam's loyalties will be laying, just as you know he will be maneuvering to get buttered and syruped by Steffy.
  8. I FF'd through all the Liam/Steffy nonsense because I really can't. I fear Li's words may have come too late; the damage has already been done. Finn hugged Sheila, thanked her, and called her mom; add that to when Sheila finds out Steffy left and why? Full psycho mode will be engaged. Brooke's hair though? Reminds me of a Cocker Spaniel.
  9. No doubt Li was hurt, but she didn't show it, she sure as hell drummed up her anger and indignation though. Why did it feel so much more powerful than Steffy's? How does Liam imagine he will keep anyone safe? I remember a time when he was terrorized by Quinn, a woman who was about 90% less threatening than Sheila.
  10. Steffy, just an FYI; Sheila knows the ins and outs of your grandfather's house like the back of her hand. She made a career out of terrorizing Stephanie, she also lived there with Quinn. And since our wealthy Bell LAers don't know how to lock doors or have security systems, I don't see how you will be any safer there. I wonder what Sheila will do to Liam? That is after Finn beats his ass. Why does Sheila talk in a whisper. It is softer and far more irritating than Brooke's. I see a Hope/Finn pairing on the horizon. Maybe a Hope/Finn/Wyatt triangle.
  11. Really Sheila? When have you ever cared about your family? And why do you go on about getting a second chance? This is actually you 894,839,128 chance. And you will fuck this up just like you always fuck up your chances; you just cannot do what you need to do. Deacon's advise was spot on; stay away from them, but you won't, you will keep bulldozing your way in, until you inevitably have to "do something." Finn needs to have a long cozy up with James Warwick.
  12. I found this so damn funny! Yeah, what is he gonna do? Nip at her ankles? Yap her to death?
  13. So, Finn is no longer an emergency room doctor? In my neck of the woods they don't get private offices. As asked above; how did Sheila know where Finn was going to be? Has she bugged his office? I want everything to blow up in Liam's face. I don't care that he is right to be concerned for Steffy and Kelly. I am pissed off that he is not concerned for Brooke, Hope and Beth, all of whom could be targets too. I am also pissed off that they are ruining Deacon for Sheila, and I don't buy that he is so deeply in love with her. Deacon has loved one woman for decades, and she is not a brunette. And Sheila has done horrible things to that woman, most recently giving her alcohol. As much as I dislike her, I would rather have seen them explore a relationship with Taylor. Flo was "redeemed" by donating a kidney, now Sheila will be redeemed by saving Kelly. Of course, no one will ask why she had set up camp ten feet from where Finn and Kelly were. I don't see Steffy being all that overcome with gratitude with Sheila saving her daughter, as much as I see her being furious with Finn for allowing Kelly to wander into that situation.
  14. I would think they are gearing up something for DB since we have seen Wyatt more in the last few weeks than we did for probably close to a year. And of course, having him interact with Hope after so long is sorta kinda a big ole anvil. I am ok with that. Maybe now that Hope has a new outlook on life and love she might be more invested in a relationship with Wyatt. And speaking of Wyatt, I just wanted to hug and squeeze him yesterday for cutting right to the mustard and telling Liam what he is really doing. Dress it up however you want Liam, but you are just looking for a way back into Steffy's bed. You haven't been concerned about Kelly in ages; there is also the fact that you have another daughter who could just as well be in danger from Sheila considering how the psycho feels about Brooke. You should have kept your mouth shut about what you saw until you had a reason to disclose it. You don't know what Finn was about really, maybe he has some plan in place. But no, you had to don your Superman cape and race over to Cliff House to tell Steffy about your little video. So fucking pathetic. Deacon didn't really seem to have a problem with the divorce. I suspect that is because of Brooke's history with Ridge and watching her struggle with rejection and heartbreak her whole adult life, and not wanting that for his daughter.
  15. Her paranoia is a thing of beauty, and actually motivated her to check to see if the sliding door was locked. I am sure she is terrified that he might misconstrue something again and will storm off looking for Taylor's bed.
  16. Liam came to see Sheila’s trial Finn saw him and crimped Liam’s style He wasn’t buying none of Liam’s words Headin’ for a showdown Listen Liam, what’s your game Looks like you came here on the wrong train And if you don’t leave right now there’s gonna be some pain There’s gonna be a showdown And that pain is gonna rain all over your world I’ll beat you to a pulp if you don’t stay away from my girl Today, you have been warned Liam said I came here as a friend Support for my dad and Kelly to lend Now your angry and gone round the bend There’s gonna be a showdown Safe Steffy Oh, save her Cause Sheil’s been set free There’s gonna be a showdown
  17. Does Finn know he has siblings? I honestly can't remember if it was ever brought up; before aligning with Sheila, he should go have a heart to heart with them. Certainly a lot of upheaval to reunite this tired pairing. But it does make it so crystal clear why they made Liam such a judgmental asshole over the Rome kiss. Their plan was to redeem him by saving Steffy, or one or both of the kids, or maybe all three from Sheila's clutches. The only good thing to come out of it is Hope's coming of age. Now that right there is top notch thinking! Because the whole Sheila in disguise thing? If they are stupid enough to fall for it twice, then they deserve whatever happens. Maybe Sheila will hire someone to get the job so she can keep a handle on things? But one of her other kids would be so much better. And Steffy would be an idiot not to have every applicant take off their shoes and socks.
  18. A murder trial in chambers? A dismissal of charges on trumped up technicalities? This viewer is not the least bit surprised. They have decided that Sheila is going to be a part of Show's future, so they had to come up with something. And so begins the ruination of all Deacon has fought for. Mr. R had a terrible childhood, the son of a mother who did not want him, who did not love him, and made no bones about him knowing that. He also had no idea who his father was until he was 16 years old, and that turned out to be a total bust too. After giving Mr. R hope that he would become part of his father's family, and letting that thought sink into Mr. R's head for weeks, he suddenly shows up and crushes Mr. R by saying there had been a change in plans, and he was not going to be able to take him in. Outside of that, he was given up for adoption, was deserted at his aunts, was left behind when his mother divorced his adoptive father and has been shunned during our entire marriage. And this is only the first chapter in my husband's horrible life. But he stills loves her. And he still wants a relationship with her. He will call her, and I can hear the young boy in his voice, absolutely begging for love and acknowledgement. And it kills me as I realize he is doing all the talking because a bitch can't be bothered. No, his mother has never killed or kidnapped or poisoned anyone. Her crimes instead have directly targeted her son, so she may not be a criminal, but she is one sorry ass excuse for a human being. So, on some level, I get what Finn is going through. My childhood was fabulous, and full, and complete, and I can't imagine growing up like Mr. R, but I am a compassionate person, unfortunately for Finn, his wife is not. I know she has laid lip service to how it must be hard for him, having Sheila as his birth mother, but that is all based on her hatred, and doesn't really address Finn's feelings. I think we can all see the writing on the wall here. Liam is going to be Steffy's champion, come to her rescue after Sheila infiltrates her family as the new nanny. Finn knowing and not telling would add some serious nitrous to the fire, but wouldn't necessarily add to Liam's heroism, as much as it would cement the demise of Sinn. And I think I am down for it. They busted up Hope and Liam in an unexpected way, and having Sinn implode over Sheila would be a nice twist, much better than Liam and Steffy fucking each other again. For me, show has taken a nice detour down the road of what soaps should be. Where shit happens, and we do not have the entire cast having the same conversation every damn day. Movement. Action. I am on board.
  19. Oh, Finn, Finn, Finn, when Sheila hugs you it makes you feel like you have been missing something? Did it make you feel like you were missing something when she put a bullet in you? Stupid boy, shooting you and Steffy, running Li off the road, and kidnapping you are just postscripts in this psycho's lifelong crime spree. All you have ever heard is that she shot Taylor, and most recently about Dr. Garvin and killing young Lance with bees. But her true list of crimes would create a novel longer than War and Peace. Maybe you did feel the tug of your birth mother there for a minute, but you know this woman is a master manipulator, and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. And besides all that, your managing director has already told you to stay away, so you have disobeyed those orders and have now compounded that by softening up with Sheila. Will it be the kiss or the hug? One or both is going to stick a big fork in the Steffy/Finn marriage. Wyatt and Hope? Now that was unexpected. I have noticed that we have been seeing a lot more of Darin and I have been ok with that since there has been no mention of Flo. Maybe they are gearing us up for a redux of these two? I think they have loads more chemistry and play off each other much better than Darin and Kim, and if they must throw Hope into an immediate relationship I would rather it not be with Thomas. Liam might discover there is another man he could never get past. I wanted to punch Steffy and Liam. Self righteous fucks.
  20. Hope doesn't play; you ask her for something, and she is going to see you get it lickety-split. And yes, how did she get those divorce papers so quickly. The real question though, is why did Liam sign without reading them? Money isn't an issue for either of them, and of course we have the fifty percent thing in CA, but what about Beth? For all Liam knows Hope could have had a clause in there about her retaining full custody. There is definitely a reason why we are hearing about a nanny, and right on the brink of Sheila's trial. I can't imagine how she could beat the charges, but this is Bell LA, and we all know that legalities we deal with in the real world don't exist.
  21. Annika has been so, so good these past few episodes, bringing layers and dimension to some really good dialogue. If this is the work of the replacement writers, then I suggest B&B hire them as full-time regulars because they are giving us more than we have had in years. My fellow posters have done such a bang up job of commenting on yesterday's sizzling episode, that I will just applaud you all, and say that I am in agreement. As far as Brooke goes though, I will say she is doing what her daughter asked her to do. Given how she feels about Thomas and the situation in general, I am sure that wasn't easy for her. I found Finn's words interesting too. He totally contradicted himself by saying that he didn't want Liam coming over whenever he wanted, especially when Liam was emotionally freefalling and was vulnerable. Then he quickly assured Steffy that he wasn't threatened or jealous of Liam, and that he had complete faith in her, but then said that he just didn't trust Liam. So, then, you are threatened by him? But for me, the best was Finn's line about "Maybe some people can't control themselves. They can't fight the power and romance of Rome." Well, buddy, it might not have happened in Rome, but your wife wasn't able to control herself not long ago. I give you exhibit A; Hayes Finnegan.
  22. After weeks and weeks of listening to the same conversation, and actually tuning out for a while because of the dulldom of it all, I find Show on fire right now. It is unfortunate that it took Hope sleeping with Thomas to achieve that, but holy cow, that has certainly caused the gloves to come off. I never expected Hope to be the one to highlight to her mother what a fool she has been, but that is exactly what she is doing as the truisms rain down: Hope - "You refuse to let me repeat your mistakes? Ok, yeah, ok fine mom, I don't want to. I don't want to be with a man who is in love with another woman." Brooke - "Don't throw it all away. Save yourself from the pain and heartache." Hope - "Don't you see that is exactly what I am doing. I am saving myself. Mom did you ever stop to maybe ask yourself why it was so easy for Liam to walk out on our marriage? How he was able to just give it up like that? After all those years that I have forgiven him for so much worse? He couldn't allow me that same forgiveness mom?" Brooke - "He loves you he is committed to you." Hope - "Oh, in the same way that Ridge is committed to you? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I know that sounded harsh and I don't mean to hurt you mom. But I don't want to live my life like that. I mean sure, yes, you and Ridge have managed to smooth things out of late, but how many decades has it been of you chasing after him begging for his love, worrying that he is thinking about someone else? I don't want that." Brooke - "But it will be too late. But its not too late right now honey; you can still fight, you can fight for Liam, you can fight for your family, you can fight for your marriage." Hope - "I am fighting for myself mom." Brooke - "Thomas is not gonna make you happy." Hope - "Were you happy? All those years that I had to scrape you up off the floor heartbroken? Were you happy?" Brooke - "Steffy is married to Finn!" Hope - "Like that has ever stopped anyone before." Hope - "I can only ask that you keep what you have seen here tonight between us, because this is my life and these are my choices and I will live with the consequences. I deserve more than half of Liam's heart. I deserve a man who is not in love with another woman." So, this makes me wonder if this is a SL about Hope coming of age, and choosing to break the waffle cycle, or is it instead a SL about Brooke coming of age, and finally laying Destiny to rest? Good ole Wyatt got it out of him and was properly appalled. It will only be a matter of time now before the jig us up. Maybe Wyatt will inadvertently spill the beans to someone? But it is going to bite Liam and Steffy in the ass. I do feel a little bad for Steffy because Liam is the one who thinks he can pick up his toys and play with them whenever he feels like; commitments and marriages be damned. On the other hand, Steffy didn't push him away too quickly, and she hasn't come clean to her husband. But she has found it in her to try to make Hope out to be a trollop of the first order.
  23. Oh Brooke, you of all people should know something about a mother trying to dictate their grown ass children's lives. Of course, Stephanie's motivations were far different than yours, and you have every reason to distrust and dislike Thomas, but Hope is seeing and feeling him differently. And outside all of that, is the fact that Liam has indeed waffled, strayed, lied, and betrayed his wife; not once, or twice, but multiple times. Maybe your quest for Destiny has convinced you that this type of treatment is status quo in relationships, but there have been times when you have expressed your true feelings about it. Times when you have owned how tired you are of the back and forth, never feeling secure, and always looking over your shoulder and seeing your partner's other love. So don't try to say you don't understand the pain and stress it causes. Now, if you are too weak to stand up for yourself and your right to a man who only wants you, then you go on, but Hope is still a young woman and maybe doesn't want to spend her life like that. When Hope says she doesn't want to be like her mother, I truly think it has nothing to do with Brooke's "scandalous" past and has everything to do with her ridiculous quest for Destiny and allowing herself to be Ridge's emotional punching back for over 30 years. Hope needs to dig in her heals and tell her mother that she loves her and all, but she will not have her dictating her life. Liam, OMG, what a petulant, butthurt little man. He saw, he ACTUALLY SAW, Hope kissing Thomas! His fucking corneas are scorched, and he can never unsee it. Poor baby! Now, Hope didn't see you climbing on top of Steffy or anything, but she does have an imagination, and last time I checked, sticking your tongue down someone's throat is way, way, way different than sticking your dick into a woman's vagina. Just sayin........
  24. Apparently, it's been so long since Brooke has had hot ass sex she has forgotten what it looks like. Your girl, my lovely, is getting her bell rung. And yes, she has firmly turned to the dark side and is experiencing what you experienced with Deacon. So you can shut it, because you know how that felt. A blanket and a fire? In California? And those bangs gotta go. Where is Douglas when you need him? That boy would out that Steffy/Liam kiss in a Cliff House minute. OMG! Steffy uses nuts and her dad uses pinecones.
