More Jenna Thoughts... She's been in the organization since age 18. She is now 24. She peaked too soon and now she has the entire rest of her life to do what? I think she stayed too long at the party because she's avoiding having to figure out who she is outside of being a DCC. It's comfortable and safe there, and she gets all the perks of being a sort of celeb in Dallas and getting the royal treatment when going out to clubs and what not. What does she do next? Pursue dance somewhere else? That's scary because she'll be just another pretty girl who can dance. LA and NYC have hundreds of those. She should have gone out on top and done what Jacie did. Move onward and upward.

That conversation with Jenna was uncomfortable but I got their point. Maybe if she hasn't said anything, kept her head down and showed them that she can stand up and be a leader on the team, then maybe K & J would have made her point again. Asking about it was a bad move. BAD

The Demi Lovato thing was super awkward and unnecessary. The girls just stood there shaking their pom poms. They didn't even interact with the party goers. Most of this episode was all filler no thriller. I didn't know there was a rumor about Jenna and Dak. Interesting. It's such a double standard through that the players can and probably do hit on the cheerleaders all the time, but it's up to the girls to say no. Their contract should also say, don't fuck with the cheerleaders. Not sure why Jenna wasn't in as much trouble as Holly. Was it because Holly is underage? Just the fact that Holly Said, "It was wrong but it was fun" just shows her lack of maturity and that she hasn't learned her lesson. We can all go "Shame on her" but at the same time, who among us hasn't tried to get into a club underage or hang out with older boys we had no business with. She's 20! It's what you do! Sadly in her case, it's gonna cost her her place on the team and her status as a DCC was what was helping her get into clubs and stuff so the gravy train might be ova!

Random Thoughts: I'm glad Cassie admitted that she wasn't the perkiest, smiley girl on the team. I remember season 7 when they did the fashion show she looked salty and RBF the entire show. I felt she went through the motions of some of the dances throughout her years on the team as well. I kind of feel like all the Alumni girls came across kinda snotty and very mean girl-ish in how they addressed the TCCs. I love most of them on an individual basis, especially Mia and Ashton but The whole image of a DCC is being approachable. They were very, "You can't sit with us".

I do admire Whitney for coming back but I thought they made it pretty clear...Don't come back. It;'s not gonna happen.

True, but I loved watching all the audition videos and picking my favorites before the season starts.

If you remember from Hunter's interview in the finals, she couldn't name a classic book author. I think she danced powerfully but probably didn't make it due to her lack of people skills & charisma and general knowledge.

I think it might have to do with the fact that the cheerleaders are on the field actually cheering during the game and will break into a dance at any moment. Plus they respond to what's actually going on in the game. The dancers on NBA teams stay out of the arena until the quarter changes.

I really like Whitney But I REALLY don't think she should try out anymore. Let it go. They clearly don't want you.

I can't believe they cut Kyndall but kept Kelsey. I'm surprised they didn't focus on Selena at all. She came back from last year and made it this year. Not even a short interview. I have more to say, but it's spoiler related.

I feel as though the show is becoming more "produced" and less documentary style which makes it feel a bit contrived and not as earnest as previous seasons. I actually liked Yuko. She can dance and seems to have a sweet spirit. JENNA. I had been wondering ever since that season she was cut who the hell she was. They never featured her in her rookie season. Next season when they were talking about the vets gaining weight and they showed her I was like, Who the hell is she? Finally, my question has been answered!

So ready for this!!!

Well if her contest video was any indication I thought she killed the audition routine. She looked less stiff and more fluid and perky.

It would cost too much money and they aren't willing to pay for the rights. I wish they would too. Especially for the repeats. The music they use instead is horrible.

Apparently, Cersten was a little rude to the Belk staff at the fashion show. And has an air about her that she knows how good she is. I think she'll do one year and move on to something else. She is an amazing dancer regardless of her attitude.
