I miss those Afros from the 70's! Like you said I don't think the DCC org are intentionally and consciously racist, but the definitely have an aesthetic. I would have loved to see Jacie wear her hair natural when she was on the team roster. I wish she would have stayed one more year so she could be the tip of the pyramid. I was hoping it would be her!

See, now if she posted something sad or about how devistated she is at being cut the haters would say,"see Amy's being a whiny cry baby... Again. Get over yourself". Amy can't win either way. I loved her post and am glad she focused on the positives she got out of it and how much she's grown. #teamamy!

Question: in watching past seasons they usually didn't announce the team The same night there are cuts. Ex: season 5 (I think) they were so torn on Stephanie Hayman that they didn't announce the team until squad photo day and there was no big celebration or fanfare. I liked the fact that when girls were cut the team had that night to grieve and reflect and then come in to a new day. It's gotta be awkward to cut girls and then turn around and have that Joyous moment of the team announcement. So I wonder why they did that this time.

Did anyone post this pic? Khalyn is not likely cut considering she was TCC of the week. She really is pretty! Reminds me of Jackie Bob. Classy and sophisticated.

I'm not believing anything about who was cut or not cut until we get a clear photo with all faces visible and identifiable.

madeline is there. I don't see raylee. I'm guessing rehearsal was so long cause they had to film specific thinks with Kelli pickler i don't see raylee but maybe she just went to the bathroom or something. If that group shot was the one Kelli posted it was probably done at the end of filming and everyone was tired and that shot was the best of the ones they took.

I think if they were on the fence about someone and then they struggle with field stuff, they will get cut.

That is kinda sad. Personally I would have gone gently into that goodnight.

I'm definitely looking forward to an update! I predict 2-3 cuts tonight! They've had a week of individualized intensive training and if they can't cut the mustard, they're outta there.

Back to what TXStar said about Cersten. That's disappointing to hear. I really thought she cam across talented and poised. Maybe KJ will have a talk with her. A DCC needs to be approchable, and gracious while projecting confidence and sex appeal. Fine line... That sucks about Yuko's visa. I hope she can come back.

lol. Yeah you might want to edit your post Smplsimon and change her name because she has a google alert for her name and has come here to defend herself. They took her because she had the look they wanted on the team. She is intangibly beautiful. The closest thing to a Barbie I've ever seen.

That's true. Most times we never know why we didn't get a job so I know it's not realistic. If I were a dancer though and I tried out multiple times I'd contact a decision maker and ask for feedback.
