I agree with other posters that Ashley's calling off the barn wedding and eloping to Vegas instead is all fake. Supposedly they have 5 days to get married! What have they been doing the past 85? This is the scenario my skeptical mind has concocted...There was never a barn wedding in the works. Those bridesmaids shown in the bridal salon were modeling the dresses they had bought for the cancelled wedding a couple of years ago. They were WAY too understanding and supportive when Ashley said she was calling off the wedding, not at all like people would normally react when they had bought two or three dresses for a non-event. Ashley has been harping on the interracial difficulties the entire season but I think the excuse of the threats on the wedding website was all made up to create drama. I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't gotten married already at the town hall to beat the 90 day deadline and the trip to Vegas and the Elvis chapel wedding is going to be a re-enactment on TLC's dime. They even have a film crew there already for Larissa and Colt.

I’m the original poster and I’m in NJ, too (what exit? Ha ha) so I was basing my comments on local experience. It’s reassuring to hear there are still parts of the country where weddings haven’t gotten so out of hand and being in one can be so outrageously expensive.

I recall Ashley said she met Jay when she attended a wedding in Jamaica, so destination weddings might be common among her friends.

Not only that, there can be huge expenses that go along with the dubious honor of being a bridesmaid apart from buying the fugly dress. (In Ashley's case THREE dresses, plus she kicked Natalie out after she had purchased her dress.) The attendants are expected to foot the bill for a shower which have become full blown restaurant shindigs and there can also be travel expenses for the bachelorette party and possibly flights to a destination wedding locale. AND after all that, they're expected to give the bride shower and wedding gifts!

Although we've established that Cousin John's "Friendly's HVAC" company is not in any way connected to the Friendly's restaurant chain, I wonder how many people would make the mistake of thinking it is. Friendly's restaurant wouldn't be too happy if John's comments on 90DF cost them business it serves him right if he gets in trouble for using a trademarked company name.

I looked this up before when I was wondering where Tasha might be going to college. All the schools nearest to Baraboo, including community colleges, are at least 30 miles away, closer to Madison and none of them appear to have medical school programs.

I would have loved to hear Janika telling her mother (Eric's ex) about the Tasha/Leida argument and her father's comments on speakerphone.

Maybe she grew up watching them and barking orders at them as to doing it proper! If that's the case, I'm sure her family's maids are glad to have her out of the house. I know a woman who feels the need to watch her "cleaning lady" work. She moves with her from room to room and sits there reading a book as the woman works around her.

That was Narkyia who was from Camp Hill, PA, (which is very near Ashley and Jay) and Olulowo from Nigeria. They broke up for a while but got back together and are still married!

Perhaps Cousin Coltie thought his appearance on 90DF would boost his HVAC business but in fact, the opposite appears to be true. There are numerous negative Yelp reviews based on the way he acted on the show. I realize that it has nothing to do with his actual job performance, but his plan might have backfired.
