Still waiting for those two and Abby to apologize to Sharon for accusing her of the cabin murders. Funny after all this time none of them have even once said "sorry" to her. She is the only character that is expected to always apologize immediately to everybody and do it profusely.

Amen DR to all of this!! The Sharon fans have been beat up for so long we will take whatever crumbs of any kind if our girl is happy and be grateful ! This is what we have been reduced to begging on message boards for any morsels of human kindness!! Lord it's good to see something good written for her and dang now she's got a job!! I am over the moon! O.K. it's the coffee shop but at least it's a job and she will be out of the cottage!. Now if they would just move her off that damn ranch!

Sharon always makes everyone look good no matter who they are and Dylan is no exception!! This is why they put him with Sharon because Davery was a big bore!!! Dylan is so much more animated and interesting with her. I never cared for him and Chelsea or Avery but with Sharon he is like a completely different character. He just comes alive around her and Faith!! I loved that scene of the interview and think they are so cute together.Love that she will be working at the Coffee House as it will put her in scenes with a lot of other characters and get her out of the cottage. Really I guess to be truthful she has been seeing a great deal more of some of the characters as they all just barge into her house with out knocking or being invited!!! LOL Great recaps Bannana! Sharon has been on this show for over 20 years and was married to a Newman son for over ten years (in real time) which is almost unheard of on a soap.She gave birth to the first heir of the third generation to the Newman fortune.She is a legacy character and connected to the core family on this soap.She has a very huge fan base. She was originally written as a poor girl who had made mistakes but had a heart of gold and fell in love with a rich man's son.I instantly fell in love with her back then and have enjoyed her story lines especially when she was with her young children. I loved all the holidays and all the heart warming scenes with her and her family.Bill Bell had a great way of making her every day life seem like real life in so many ways.Now she is just used to be a person scorned and ridiculed for a mental disorder! That's why there is so much dislike for the way she has constantly been trashed and used by the writers in the last few years just to infuse interest in a boring story and prop up and take the blame off other characters. Josh G. did her no favors in creating this disease to explain the totally out of character writing for her over the years. It was a terrible idea.They should have just given her a brain tumor and a successful operation to remove it.But of course then they would have no excuse for her doing crazy things like changing a paternity test to absolve Nick of the blame of his 18 year lie! Now it is becoming absurd for the way her fans are treated because who can enjoy a character who has been beaten down so many times that even now when she is relatively happy we have to sit around and wonder if this will be the day Sharon will go off her meds and do something horrible or crazy? We know it's coming because Pratt has told us so. I don't see other characters or their fans treated like this so why in the hell should Sharon's fans be? And I firmly believe that Sharon was going to be involved in some way in the exit of JC's Avery. I don't buy that weak story about Avery and Joe for one second!! I am just happy that somebody pulled the plug on it but I really don't trust Chuckles Pratt in squandering an opportunity to have a shock and awe story that will blow everyone's minds and just blame it on Crazy Sharon being off her meds. I am dreading the time when Avery makes her exit!

Yep, I can't stand Phyllis but I have voiced my opinion on this and other boards about the fact that she is being raped by a stranger hired by Victor. Also you could make the same argument for Chelsea and don't get me started on Kelly and Jack!! When something is wrong it's wrong even if it is not real I will speak up no matter who the character is! This bipolar crap is totally being used to inject interest in stale stories and make Sharon the whipping post who is used again and again to do outrageous things and blaming it on her illness. What a crock!! And an insult to all the people suffering from mental disorders. Her's is the only illness the show constantly refers to while the other ones are never even mentioned. It's the gift that keeps on giving for Chuckles Pratt!!! JH is meshing well with all the characters,especially Fack and Victor!!!

Yep you got that right Valley! Sharon fans will never get a payday like the other fans get all the time. It must be an unwritten rule that Sharon fans will never be happy just as the character is not allowed to be for very long.

Thanks Bannana for the great recaps!! I am just pissed that these writers are rewriting the Davery/Shylan story right in the middle of it being played out. And I believe it is to once again trash Sharon and give some sympathy to Avery who in my opinion is not a very likable character.It is plain that Sharon and Joe are being used to prop her and Dylan. This is a rewrite because this is not what has been happening over the last several months ever since Joe came back to town. Joe was upfront about his feelings to Avery and he even told her and she shared some kisses with him. She knew he was not over her.It was easy to see that she was gravitating to him and had obvious feelings for him. And Joe even told Dylan how he felt about Avery after his fall. Avery has been shown hanging around him and being conflicted with her feelings for him. She has ignored Dylan's pleas to stay away from Joe and Dylan has told her over and over what Joe is doing all to no avail. She would not stay away from the man period!! And Dylan has been shown hanging around Sharon trying to help her beat the double homicide rap. It has shown their close friendship and the way they have gravitated to each other and realizing they have romantic feelings for each other.Avery recognized the feelings Dylan has for Sharon and told him while she broke up with him and gave him back his ring. It is absurd that she would be just totally shocked that Joe tried to kiss her after the other times they have kissed and she was acting like she couldn't believe he was still in love with her. WTH? This is just a way to garner sympathy for Avery and make Sharon look like a home wrecker when it was not written that way at all. I liked the way it worked out and thought that Avery and Joe would be a couple and go on with their lives. I should have known that this is the Let's Throw Sharon Under That Bus One More Time Show so naturally they will write her OOC and have her team up with Joe to sabotage Davery getting back together. The problem is this is not needed and is only being used to trash Sharon and make Avery look the victim. And of course they have to insert Phyllis in the story. Nothing like telling lies about Sharon throwing you down the stairs huh Phyl? These writers need to stop insulting our intelligence and stop rewriting the script in the middle of a story. I am not buying any of this crap. Davery was over a long time ago and Avery was getting very close to Joe and now all of a sudden she is shocked about Joe's wanting to be with her and is all about Dylan and jealous of him and Sharon? Then why break up with him? No just no!!

Yes he sure was. I thought he was very sexy and handsome! He was one of my favorites back then. Did you know that he was besties with the singer/actor Rick Springfield? They went to acting classes together and Rick lived with Doug's sister, who was a model for 3 years. Doug and Rick are still friends today. Ooh La La! DD was one sexy hunk!!!
