I doubt Charley will take Davis back, but I do think she was shrewd in wearing her wedding ring to that brunch.

I could see Charley remaining in the marriage for the money, especially if he gets signed to the team of the man from brunch and the farm loan denial. Still, it's hard for me to imagine they couldn't get a loan from elsewhere - heck, even crowdfunding.  Are there any black farmers associations in Louisiana/Southern region that they could partner with? Does Charley have business contacts she can leverage? I get what they're going for with the Landry/Boudreaux angle, but the Internet and social media has really broken down barriers in relation to funding.

I assume there needs to be some kind of obstacle for Remy and Charley - it's too easy.  If they go that route, I'd prefer more "longing gazes because you can't be with the one you want" vs "hot and heavy affair that will get thrown in Charley's face because this show primarily holds the female characters accountable for their flaws and choices." *inserts side-eye*

I don't care about Micah and Kiki, but I hope she's not vilified by the show in any way.  *inserts side-eye*

Co-sign with everyone else that Charley's "oh, hell to the naw" facial expressions are every.single.thing.

I'm glad that Nova and Charley are getting along.  I hope it lasts.

I always picture the young man's name as "Tout Suite," but the meaning in this context doesn't make sense.  Too/Two Sweet makes more sense.

Confession: I didn't miss Hollywood.  I don't think he's a bad guy at all, and would be completely okay if they reconciled.  Still, I'm glad Vi has some space to breathe and ponder and flourish on her own terms.  Fact is, he lied by omission about being married, and did so for several years.  Totally get why that would be a dealbreaker for Vi, or any woman.  That said, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

I'll always wish that Vi and Charley would partner up on the business.

I'm not familiar with the term "crowd funding".  Could you elaborate?

Ewwwwwwwwww! Cleanliness is difficult to maintain when individuals are past a certain size as it is.

Danielle isn't that big, comparatively speaking, but she's big enough to be uncomfortable or limited in range of motion.  But good personal hygiene is important, particularly under the breast area and any skin folds should be thoroughly washed and dried...it's easy to get yeast on the skin and it's itchy and smelly. Some people are just gross to begin with.

One poster mentioned that Mohammed does always look neat and well groomed, while Dani looks like a mess all the time and I agree with that.

Human bodies are supposed to smell natural and if you keep clean and have no disease or pathology or infection, you aren't likely to smell bad unless you eat something smelly and it sweats through the body. A coochie is a coochie, and it's supposed to smell like a coochie, not like roses, but it's not supposed to stink, either. Same with feet or underarms, etc.

TMI ALERT!  I agree with everything you said.  Also? A healthy vagina is self-cleansing. It truly is a biological miracle.  In order to mess that up a woman must be lazy, undisciplined, or in need of medical care. I apologize profusely for the attached document. http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/vagina-health/Pages/keep-vagina-clean.aspx

  3. I truly want to be on Dani's side but she so reminds me of a co-worker I used to have.  All of us regretted seeing him walk into our office area.  He appeared clean, but when he left? He left a stench that permeated every inch of the office space.  Our windows did not open, so we were spraying Febreeze all over the place.  He reminded me of Pigpen from the Peanuts cartoon.

I'd like to know what Charley is planning.  Her decision to wear her wedding ring to the private school event was a huge sign. Did she wear it to make a statement?  Or just to avoid gossip?  Bringing Davis to the Louisiana basketball team could give her the money and political influence to hurt the Boudreaux/Landry family.  But what would it mean personally?  Maybe its not  some secret in Remy's past that is going to pop up, but Charley going back to Davis.

I think she did it for her son. To show solidarity between her and Davis. It was Davis' donation that got their son into the school.  She did what she had to so.  Us mommas have to do that from time to time right.

That only happens in their Playroom.  No cameras allowed ...

I seriously TRY to feel sympathy for poor ol' George.  I realize he was raised up with headstrong older sisters. But those sisters truly love him.  How much did I love Lourdes looking straight into the camera and saying (paraphrasing), "Go home Anfisa.  We don't need you here". I hope he reclaims his testicles from Anfisa's purse and goes on with his life.  I do have a sliver of hope since the tell all previews shows both of them sans rings.

I think it's much different when you are talking about boyfriends, and husbands. If you are not interested in a current boyfriend and tell them so, that should be that. A husband is something different.

To be more clear, I was (also) talking about my husband.  After years of being treated as a possession rather than a partner with my own wants and needs? For my own sanity's sake, I had to get out.  And just like Dani, he would physically attempt to restrain me.  Hound me.  Stalk me. It's no way to live life.

  7. One of the reasons I cannot stand Dani is because she reminds me of my ex. I don't understand people who want you and are bound and determined to have you no matter what.  If some man doesn't want me?  I'm like BYE. Don't contact me again. I realize she stupidly invested a lot of money, time and effort to bring her boy toy here, but there comes a point when you just have to move the hell on.  Accept you made a foolish choice and forgive yourself. Work on repairing relationships with family and friends that were hurt due to that stupid relationship.  It's called being an adult FFS.

  8. I just love this show so much.  And the actress playing Charley?  She has this, jutting-jaw-resting-bitch-face that telegraphs loud and clear - DO NOT fuck with me.  We have that in common so I guess she just resonates with me.  And I am invested and care about each and every character.  Good job OWN!

Well, my wife finally got home from out of town and we were able to watch 90 Day Fiance last night. Wow. Just wow. Nicole is beyond dumb and entitled. She's definitely on the road to becoming Danielle with her attitude of "If I can't pay for it right now, then I'll just get someone else to pay for it". Her mother is definitely helping her too much in her life already. She needs to make Nicole's life as hard on Nicole as she possibly can and force Nicole to realize the only way she's really going to get anything in life is to do for herself. It was enjoyable to see the looks that crossed the lawyer's face as she was talking to Nicole. I guess I really am reaching the end of my rope with these people for this season because I am running out of things to say about the episodes. I'm really sick of Jorge and Anfisa. I wish he would just send that bitch packing and then call an end to their storyline. He seems to be a bit like Nicole in that he's going to do the thing that people tell him he shouldn't do specifically because people whose advice he trusts are telling him not to do it. The whole thing is exhausting, but it was nice to see Lourdes again. She really wins this whole season with her calm demeanor, no-bs approach, and her killer expressions that say everything without a word being spoken. The look she gave her other sister for saying that that's what you get when you pay someone to spread their legs tells me she clearly understands Jorge better than their sisters and indicates to me that she knows that their sister having said that is just going to cause Jorge to see this through to the bitter end.

As for Chantel and Pedro, Chantel's family can't be any more classless than they were last night with looking over the stupid and fake pre-nuptial agreement. I can't imagine they could be satisfied with it since it's so generic. Pedro should have just run away from that family. Apparently, the sex is just that good.

Anyway, I'm ready for all these people to be off my TV - unless Lourdes is going to come to the reunion. Then I can stand it for a little longer.

I wish I could give you a kazillion likes for that post

If you're listening to the gospel according to Maria-- who is not terribly credible and who has always been a Mohamed stalwart-- then that might have been true. But it isn't.

Poor dumb Danielle has always been head over heels in love with the man who never gave a shit about her.

Let's not forget: Mohamed found her on MeetMe, not the reverse. Mohamed followed all the classic love scam moves even down to the textbook phrases: "age is just a number" "beauty is from within" "I don't care about what you call it the Green Card". Mohamed messaged her every day. Mohamed proposed marriage.

Just because he's a Muslim from a third world country doesn't mean he's pure of heart.  It's interesting: the people who are most offended watching Mohamed's antics aren't North American women, they're other MENA men who say "that scammer doesn't represent me and certainly isn't a good Muslim".

YEARS ago, I was divorced and joined a dating site for shits and giggles.  I started receiving messages from men claiming I was the most beautiful woman in the world.  Sending me email after email.  These emails?  It was obvious they got on Hallmark.com and copied and pasted stupid romantic card verbiage.  I saw it for what it was and told them so.  I then blocked them.  THAT'S how you deal with scammers boys and girls!

  11. It's finally hit me why I can't stand Mel.  She could be the twin sister of one my of ex-sisters-in-law. My oldest brother is too much like Jorge - goes after headstrong, controlling, demanding women (he's married to #5 currently).  My ex sister-law had the same up turned nose, big under bite, and dominating personality.  I could not stand her.  Or any of the others since they were all so much alike. It's just that Mel physically AND personality-wise could be Linda's doppelganger. UGH.

  12. Did Emily not hear the radio or was just ignoring it?  Seeing the captain's temperament, I would make sure my radio was turned up all the way.  I would have been majorly pissed if I was Kate.

  13. It's become apparent that Capt. Lee's "role" this season is perpetually-pissed-off-dad.  Yes the crew are acting like dumb shits, but when haven't they?  He handled it much better in the past.  It has to be producer driven.

  14. So......last night's episode.  I loved DeBarge back in the day.  It breaks my heart how fragile James is.  And could Kris look more like him? I don't follow these people online, but I do remember the Janet Jackson rumors, but don't remember how it eventually played out.

Did Damon Dash actually say he "intimidated" Angela out of the party?  If so. get your ego in check dood. Being rude to pregnant women?  STFU with the quickness.
