I didn't miss Julie Chen at all. In fact the lack of a moderator actually made the show seemed to run more smoothly.

Obviously the producers do not.

OMG! We'd never see the end of that little famewhore if he won. He is already an insufferable a-hole. If he won that would "prove" that he was the bestest, most brilliant ever. Kinda like Swaggy on steroids. Gag.

..... and the rest of the house suddenly got smart and took advantage of the opportunity to get rid of a major threat.

Short term, Dr. Will - BB chief resident famewhore (there are so many, but he's the first and foremost). Long term, Ross Matthews - probably scheduling conflicts would prevent immediate short term (this week?) participation. I would be hoping for somebody else over either of them for the long term.

Get a grip! This is JC we're talking about. Come to think about it, it sounds like he's the one that needs to get a grip - pun intended.

Think of it as a hurri-cation. You might think about traffic and maybe leave earlier. We did it for Irma. La Quinta Inns welcomes pets so we enjoyed their hospitality for a week - 3 people, 6 cats and 2 dogs. #TeamGoodTimes

I would probably not watch if Dr Will or Ross Mathews were the host. Julie is innocuous. She does not in any way interfere with my viewing of the show. If TPTB inserted a "personality", one who had to "make his bones" by standing out with scripted witticisms and "insights", I'd be gone so fast not even HG JC could peek through the door I'd blow through.

Nobody, NOBODY can replace John Hillerman as Higgins. He was perfect in the role. I may watch the premier episode, but it will take a whole lot to replace Hillerman and Selleck. I doubt this reboot can do it.

Sam helps, in that she isolates herself. Who wants to hang with someone who nurtures spiders? Nothing against spiders, but really? Do the other house guests really know about the crazy? Or is she just a little weird to them?

So glad you changed "he's" to "Josh" in quoting me. I hate trying to decipher "Then he said to her......so he.....then she....." I always try to change to the person's name just for clarity.

Gotta wonder what Sam would do with a bunch of grapes. I don't have cabinet room for that many tiny pieces of Tupperware! Sorry, Sam. The whole bunch all goes in the same baggy.

Not true! His one redeeming moment was taking the win from Paul's grasping hands. For that alone he is kind of one of my sort of maybe favorites, every fifth Wednesday of the month if it's a full moon.

If Moonves was involved enough to have to sign off on each cast, he may be the reason Grodner is still there. With him gone whoever takes over might decide to get rid of her. New people like to shake things up and put their stamp on things. Maybe TNewPTB will want to freshen up this cash cow summer filler.

~~~~~~~Wavin' at ya from Sarasota. So glad I was spoiled and skipped this one. I just couldn't see losing an hour of my life watching people I didn't like the first time around. I would like to hear more about Sam's DR if anybody feels like sharing.

I can just see this "discussion" . Whenever anybody says anything against JC he will immediately take over and dominate the conversation with his delusions of power. It will be loud and probably impossible to understand. People sitting in front of him should probably have an umbrella 'cause when he gets excited he gets juicy. Besides, the jury house will need a thorough cleaning by that time. Sam will feel right at home. They've probably been waiting for her.

I hope so because the last couple of weeks have been so dull.
