  1. We don't actually know the revenant is the dad, right? That was the only negative I had for this episode. I couldn't figure out why everyone just switched over from thinking it was Doc (I loved his speech at the beginning of the episode). If Waverly isn't an Earp by blood, I hope it doesn't change anything (and I don't really expect it to). Having different parents (one or both) doesn't mean they're not sisters.
  2. I loved this one. The relationships on this show are fantastic, no matter which characters are sharing the screen. I can't even decide which storyline I prefer. Nicole and Wynonna were hilarious and I like that they're friends. And pretty much everything in the guy's plot was perfect.
  3. I vaguely remember that Doc only experienced what he did to Clootie and not what other people did. Wynonna could have killed her but Doc wanted to get revenge himself so that wasn't good enough and they came up with the salt flats plan instead. I may be forced (heh) to rewatch those episodes though. Thanks for the answers on Doc's note! I'm glad he just needed some time to adjust. I was disappointed with his initial reaction. On the other hand, I was impressed with Dolls initially but was less happy with him by the end.
  4. What did Doc's note say? I couldn't make it out.
  5. Thanks, everyone. I have added some titles to my list. I really enjoy having an excuse to read some things that wouldn't normally end up in my library pile but I also want to avoid freaking him or his parents out. Hanahope, would your daughter be interested in comic books? I love the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, the new Ms. Marvel, and Patsy Walker a.k.a. Hellcat and they'd be appropriate for a 12 year old. Ooh, also Lumberjanes!
  6. To tag onto Hanahope's request, I'm looking for recommendations for my ~13 year old godson. He's a very advanced reader and likes series (so he has more to read) but, unfortunately, that's all I know (I keep asking for feedback but apparently he likes everything I've sent). Since I want to read the books first, I'm looking for fantasy/sci-fi, non-dystopian, with some diversity (I'm trying to read more women and minority focused books (and I want godson to get exposure outside of what's normally assigned in his school)). Any suggestions?

    Audiobooks

Does anyone have any non-fiction audiobook recommendations? I have a very hard time reading non-fiction but, for some reason, I enjoy listening to someone read to me during my commute. My library has a pretty good collection of WWII books but I need to branch out a little. I'm open to history and science (A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson is fantastic, very Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (also excellent)). When looking for books to give my godson, I listened to Flora & Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo and it was very fun.
