  1. I hope it’s not a season ending cliff hanger…I hate those!
  2. I hope the ever annoying skip tracer Randy at least paid for Nolan’s new roof before he forgot his password or whatever stupid thing they came up with to get rid of his money. More realistically would have been his bitcoin losing all of its value. Talk about weird. Nolan’s half brother is Pete Davidson, right? Well, they kept talking about him, and he kept popping up in commercials. The whole Randy plot was ridiculous, with Wolfgang Puck of all people and some sports person I’ve never heard of making cameo appearances. Hey, but at least we were spared an appearance by the legless liar. (Well, only semi legless) Yay…Lucy made sergeant! Our long national nightmare is finally over and Lucy and Tim can be together…or can they? Of course Lucy is now on the night shift so once again the lovers are tragically parted…
  3. The irony of Ormewood getting caught up in the veteran bureaucracy is everybody telling him “thank you for your service,” while slamming doors in his face. And I’ll bet it’s gotten much worse since they filmed this. I knew as soon as that guy handed the veteran a sandwich that no good would come of it. The Will Trent title in the smooshed “moist” banana bread was priceless! So Angie loses a mother and Will finds a father? DNA aside, they both know their way around drywall. Who knew that was an inherited trait? It was funny, Angie addressing her mother through the plumbing. Interesting comment by Dr. boyfriend about Angie possibly choosing to go to North Carolina. I guess Georgia is one of those no abortion states these days and the nearest place to go is NC. I’m glad he was non judgmental about her fall off the wagon. He seems like a keeper to me.
  4. I don’t understand how ghosts manage to have sex when they can’t remove any of their clothing or inconvenient accessories like Pete’s arrow or Thor’s shield. Yes, I suppose that it’s possible, but it seems like a less than optimal experience. (This is one area in which Trevor has a distinct advantage) But thank goodness, we don’t have to hear any more 500 year old virgin jokes. Kyle seemed like a good guy until he made a pass at Sam. But she gave him the ol’ face palm, which is a funny recurring joke.
  5. FOH is always such a thankless position. I knew Shui had blown it when the judges started wondering where he was, and I knew that Massimo had blown it by sucking up to the judges, as opposed to just giving everybody good service. Of course Massimo’s sin was the lessor. It’s always better to err on the side of overkill, than under. Poor Tristan. He handled himself with such grace and dignity and delivered good dishes as well. I’m sure his dad would have been proud. I’m happy that he was the winner along with his team, even though their name was silly. Bailey and Paula really blew it for their team by taking so long at Whole Foods. They should have split up at the get go like the other team. Massimo made me laugh at Whole Foods, but he got all the shopping done.
  6. So the Nevada prison that let that guy go five years too early? Oops? Is that even possible? But then they are perfectly happy to just leave him alone, living his life, no effort to contact him, or bring him back in, until Nolan brings him to their attention? It’s not like he was in hiding, or living under an assumed name! I don’t hate how the Seth debacle ended. He finally had his come to Jesus moment, and we don’t have to put up with him any more. Well, until next season when he will show up with a prosthetic and they’ll give him some cushy desk job, since nobody ever leaves this show unless we see their dead body. Sigh
  7. I think they were using Pancake because she was old and no longer valuable. They wouldn’t risk a champion horse. I think they considered both the horse and rider to be past their sell by date. The plot reminded me of the Robert Redford/Jane Fonda movie, Electric Cowboy about a washed up rodeo rider who steals a drugged horse.
  8. I understand that Angie was intervening in a domestic dispute, but it’s still going to read “bar fight” to her superiors, if they find out about it.
  9. I don’t know the conditions under which Angie was rehired, but I suspect that getting drunk and into a bar fight pretty much violates some major ones. Will she be found out and fired? I don’t dislike show Angie because this is the first season I’ve watched and so I missed her earlier shenanigans. (Book Angie is a whole different story) I hope she can recover from this. She was so good with Ormewood, practically staging an intervention to get him to deal with his surgery. I assumed that the drag queen lawyers (?) were previously introduced but they were hilarious and got the job done.
  10. In the last episode Abby said that her people have a code which forbids killing people who cannot defend themselves. She proceeds to break that code by killing Joel. But if her group was behind the massacre of the scar/hammer group, how does that fit in with their code? Was the fact that the little red haired girl had a hammer make her fair game? How do people with rifles justify killing people with hammers?
  11. You know what really annoyed me about these last few episodes? The pop up ads promoting Zahn Mcclarnon for a Emmy! Right in the middle of the show! Way to destroy the illusion, show! He’s in the middle of an emotional scene and an ad pops up, “vote for me…isn’t my acting great?” I know he’s not doing the ads, but he should fire his publicist or whoever’s great idea that was. If I were an Emmy voter, which we as the public are NOT, I wouldn’t vote for him just for that alone.
  12. This show is such a wasted opportunity to show real Navajo customs. The book characters don’t run around with guns. Their characters are completely different. Their mysteries are interesting and involved and are intertwined with the Navajo way of life. It’s a shame because the casting is fine as is the acting, but the characters are a big miss.
  13. Right. Like we’re supposed to remember Nolan’s son’s ex-fiancée.
  14. I stopped watching HH years ago because there was only so much stainless steel and granite I could get excited about. But I remember one episode where the husband was a concert pianist, and one of the houses they looked at just happened to have a large piano shaped object in the corner, covered with a sheet. Guess which house they chose? I watch HHI for the glimpse into life in a foreign country, the quirkier the better.
  15. The only amusing thing about this episode was all of the various true crime/pseudo science shows getting entangled with each other, with competing camera crews, etc. while the actual episode was also being filmed. Other than that, the whole thing was totally absurd. And not in a good way.
  16. I feel that Betty is unable to ask the right questions.
  17. Yes, it made no sense when the husband commented on the smell in house#2, and realtor said that it smelled that way because nobody had lived there for a while. So, why is a deserted house so full of personal crap? I mean, did the family suddenly drop dead, or go out for an evening stroll and just never return? It was ridiculous. Still I wished they would have chosen that one because it was a perfect compromise. But of course the husband had to be adamant, because the house wasn’t available. I hope that the wife can drive herself to town.If I had to rely on somebody to drive me anytime I wanted to go anywhere, I’d go crazy.
  18. I totally called the “pregnant” woman as the criminal. There was no other reason to have a random pregnant character, if she wasn’t going to prove important to the plot. Chekhov’s belly, so to speak. Aw…that little brother was so cute, potential murderer though he was. Will handled the whole situation as best he could, and maybe found a tiny bit of absolution. I did not find Alonzo attractive, but Amanda did not consult me. At least he’s not an active jewel thief. Wasn’t he the brother of the celebrity? I guess he could afford to retire from crime when his brother made it big. That hotel manager was one odd looking dude.
  19. I know…talk about ripped from the headlines! Abortion may have been legal, but apparently one had to go through a lot of hoops to get one. It was not always easy in the US, even when it was federally legal. Some states put as many obstacles as possible and have now shut it down altogether. Between that and the failing measles vaccination campaign, it’s like we haven’t progressed at all since 1970. Thank goodness for Mrs. Trottwood and Andrew, though I’m not sure that even they would have much success against the die hard anti-vaxxers in 2025 USA. The new nun is adorable, but the sisterhood at Nonnatus house is so small. It must be weird to be the only postulant. Especially when her housemates aren’t constrained by the religious life. I mean, it’s not like they party exactly, but they do have a lot more freedom.
  20. Yet another made up job description. A manifestation coach? Somehow I’ve managed to make to it 74 years of age without once manifesting anything. I hope she finds plenty of suckers, uh, clients, in Australia.
  21. Sam used an app to make a montage of the photos on her phone. I get that. But Trevor would have to have access to the photos on Pinkus’ phone to use the app to make a montage. As far as I know, he didn’t have access to his phone. Facebook makes montages of photos of me and people I’m friends with occasionally, but I’m not sure how Trevor would have access to that either.
  22. Okay…logic person here. How was Trevor able to make a video montage without access to Pinkus’ photos? He sent the photos to Abby’s phone, but from where? Did I miss an explanation? Aside from that, as soon as I read the episode description that Trevor’s friend comes with his daughter and Trevor gets a big surprise, I immediately guessed that she was Trevor’s daughter. It doesn’t bother me at all that not every character appears in every episode. It gets too crowded and characters don’t get as much chance to shine. This way every character gets his/her share of funny lines. Obviously there are have to be some big ensemble episodes, but from week to week it’s not necessary.
  23. The Cousin Itt Dancers? Such cool and interesting costumes. I’d swear I never saw the couple who came in first before last night. Are we sure they didn’t pick them up in Bulgaria? At least Jonathan admitted that it was he who parked the car in the mud puddle, but I noticed he didn’t do half as much self castigating as he did to Ana who apparently tied him down and forced him to choose the hay detour.
  24. I guess Amazon is responding to an ongoing boycott by infiltrating The Rookie among other shows. As a person who watches tv on delay just so that I can FF over commercials I really did not need one from Bailey! And Nolan threw out her equipment? That is grounds for divorce in my book, but Bailey just smiles and orders everything new. I mean nothing can hold Super Bailey back! The hit man plot was convoluted to say the least. And that super entitled rich dude taking out hits on people who annoy him? C’mon. As if the whole hitmen hiring hitmen plot wasn’t ridiculous enough. Though the two “Russians” were pretty amusing.
  25. What did they do with Grandma? A brain tumor is bad, but if it’s not malignant, it’s better than what I thought when he first collapsed, which was a stroke. He can recover from brain surgery, but a stroke could end his career. And his son didn’t seem upset that he missed the play. Of course it wasn’t Oremwood’s fault, but kids can still take it personally. So, I guess that’s the last we’ll see of Raphael and Sunny. Off to a new life which was the best possible outcome, I suppose, certainly better than he deserved. i was certain that the uncertain rug buyer was going to turn out to be an undercover cop and bust young Will and Raphael, but instead Raphael commits his first murder, to which Will was a witness, if not an accessory. I wonder how he made the jump from budding criminal to law enforcement. The young actors were spot on.
