PTX at a cyber security conference today. Changed the lyrics of Daft Punk to all things related to cyber security. Clever.

Cool rendition of 'Be Our Guest.' Liked the mix of a cappella and instruments for once. Definitely worked as an opener. Was a magical night and a giant promotional campaign from ABC.

Every label mismanages their artists. Bias towards the bigger artists. Everything is about the $$$. Latest coming out of RCA is Tinashe who claims that they are pouring all their focus into Zayn. It's all up to you and PTX has an excellent team behind them. Kudos to RCA so far, they were the ones that pushed CSL onto the radio. With all the buzz around PTX, don't see RCA ditching them anytime soon.

They probably did for 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' but the only song eligible would be "Can't Sleep Love." All up to the Grammy voters.

Nice little sales bump for PTX. Up 25% after the Grammy's performance. Funny with some articles saying the tribute was too brief or tame. It was a tribute and a very last minute thing. PTX was rehearsing the whole time up until the show, they only did a couple of quick interviews and headed off the carpet to rehearse. No one knew that Wonder & PTX were going to do a little tribute until the day let alone present. No press release, nothing. Lot's of rearranging presenters and stuff. The way it all came together frantically behind the scenes is something I would want to see.

Don't know how official this is but a gossip-tainment site states that PTX and Stevie Wonder will be performing a tribute to Maurice White. "“There’s a history of [the Grammys] not acknowledging black artists,” a source told us. But the Grammy academy finally bowed to pressure over White, and over the weekend added Wonder and a cappella group Pentatonix to perform a one-minute tribute to White." - http://pagesix.com/2016/02/14/one-late-black-music-legend-will-be-honored-at-grammys/ Edit: Just confirmed via Billboard interviewing the shows producer. Pentatonix also just debuted their new single which was rumoured months ago, "If I Ever Fall In Love."

Tweeted about tickets to a special taping a couple weeks ago about Disneyland's 60th Anniversary special, some fans got tickets and it looks awesome. It will air on ABC, Feb 21st. There's a snippet of PTX singing "Be Our Guest" and them skipping down the strip amongst all the floats. Looks like a whole lot of fun. I keep forgetting that Pentatonix literally came out 2 months ago. They're still promo-ing CSL and it's still hanging around on radio. Like all the performers on the NYE show, it was just another promotional gig. Oh and ICYMI: Pentatonix made into Forbe's 2016 30 Under 30. Another for the record books, 1st a cappella act on the list. + Forbes Q&A with PTX. Some interesting facts you might not know about them. Although the question about college debt was weird. Not necessarily targeting a demographic, just excellent taste in music. Or is that just wishful thinking?

The entire Hollywood broadcast is pre-recorded. Blurring the lines, not "live" in LA but NY is 100% live. VEVO channel is up and kicking. 3 videos! Spoiled us.

Press Release for 'New Year's Rockin Eve '16' - Final performers added. PTX will be at the Hollywood one so it's definitely pre-recorded. The Voice thing on iTunes doesn't mean anything. Just a surge of people buying that it rockets up the charts (similar to La La Latch w/ PTX). Believe that if people buy the song it counts as a vote? PTX is still killing it on the radio charts. CSL is #36 on POP, #24 on HAC Joy To The World #9 on AC Have Yourself A Merry...#43 on AC
