  1. Samantha was a beautiful girl who didn't get much play. She would have the looks to be a bachelorette, and we know nothing bad about her. She hung around for quite awhile. Of course, we don't know much about her personality.
  2. We keep saying, "More Thorne, more Oliver," but it never seems to happen. Wihen she was little, we used to say, "More Hope," and we finally got our wish.
  3. Along with Drunk Brooke we have Decent Deacon. C'mon, Deacon, you can do better than that--comforting Brooke and then leaving, going back to Quinn, who is kindly sharing chocolates with her moody son. What's WRONG with everybody?
  4. Is Brooke losing her touch? You don't just summon someone to your house and start talking about going to the bedroom without any encouragement or prior flirtation. And she knew about the Caroline thing, so that should have given her a moment of caution. Poor KKL, she comes back from the harsh judgement of the Italian judges to this. Now she's going to be a lush, apparently. What next, losing arms and legs?
  5. Thanks, Shira, for noticing those were tempera paints. I was having a lot of trouble with black oils, just imagine, lying around and rubbing those paints against each other and the sheets, how much it would have taken to get all of that off, hardly worth the little whim of body painting, and not a good job of that.
  6. She used to try to give one-on-one encouragement and advice. Now she is on a seek and destroy mission to get a man. If not Ridge, then Deacon, and if not him, then she could probably accidentally get Bill away from her sister. Actually, she might have better luck snapping her fingers in that direction. The Brooke we have known over the years, though, has more compassion and understanding than we have seen lately. See if you go on Dancing with the Stars again anytime soon, ha ha, not that you weren't punished enough while you were there. Yes, there is a lot she could do besides go after a man, she is quite capable.
  7. I think the writers are making Brooke pay for being gone that long, her character has seldom been worse.
  8. So, Brooke, you are going to have R.J. go to dinner with you and Ridge. Can you find him?
  9. Carly reminds me of Goldie Hawn.
  10. I think she was just trying to load it up with anything she had. She's going in like gangbusters, acting like she's taking charge, but she is just back from being gone for months, she would know that her leadership might not be accepted by this group of angry people in turmoil.
  11. Devoted, handsome Whip wasn't good enough for Taylor, she had to divorce him. Now, if we don't want to inflict her on reliable, capable Lt. Baker, who should we choose?
  12. Ridge: You did something wrong, so I'm going to run the company. Liam: He did something wrong, so I'm going to run the company. Brooke: Everybody shut up. I'm in charge. Is it just up for grabs? No organizational decisions made by a quiet, serious group? Just, "I'm it, you're gone?"
  13. Let's just say Bill and Steffy Katie and Liam Brooke and Deacon Rick and Carter Wyatt and Aly Donna and Eric Quinn and that guy shouting No! Ivy and Oliver Caroline and Ridge Maya and Thorne Taylor and Lt. Baker
  14. TK shows emotions that didn't exist with original recipe Ridge, so he is evolving. We like him for that. Can't leave this topic without saying that early original Ridge was terribly handsome, and Ronn Moss still has good looks and elegance, but bad judgement as to hairstyles. He also couldn't play angry well, he just got loud and sounded like a schoolyard bully. Would I want him back? Yes, but not if it meant losing TK.
  15. A lot of buildup for a hallucination, I think it's real. Rick may be a bad shot, just put somebody in the hospital, probably Caroline, so Ridge can hover over her. Rick had been shown drinking, something the show often does before somebody does something unusually ill-advised.
  16. How long ago was it that (old) Ridge came into work the back way to avoid reporters, who outsmarted him, seven of them shoved microphones in his face, and asked, "What about that KISS?" How big does your company have to be for multiple reporters to trap you to ask about a kiss? (Somebody kissed somebody on the runway at the end of a fashion show the day before.)
  17. The zip and zing of a person makes them exciting, gives them flavor. A person delivering bland, well-considered responses, perfectly fair all the time, how boring. (Although desirable in real life.) Caroline was a heck of a lot of fun in her bad days, but now she is a victim, so she has become milk toast.
  18. I think we've had board meetings, you know, people sitting around, so there has to be a board.
  19. I can imagine that Eric would decide against running off with Fred Willard at this point, be a bit miffed at Rick for having fooled him, and that people would begin having informal meetings without Rick, making discisions without him, leaving him confused and angry. "He and I were just talking. Did we need your approval? Here is what it is, and it's working out great. So we have your approval?" Rick could fire everybody, but the general lack of support will undermine him, and he will think twice before he loses so many key employees. Maya can't fill all positions.
  20. Wouldn't the Board be over the CEO? Couldn't they create a new position that would be over the CEO?
  21. By Tor, I'm glad to hear you say it. This purified, pasteurized, filtered (but not non fat) Deacon loses a lot from what he could be and has been.
  22. Ivy is the prettiest. Liam needs to be quirkier, needs an outstanding fault getting him into trouble. Carter is trending. Alli needs something to do. Darla-head has been missing for awhile, where is it zooming? Wyatt needs to smile again. Deacon has been hopelessly sane, decent, kind and wise lately, so un-Deaconlike. C'mon. Bill is the most virile thing around, and the funest. Pam is always welcome. And so is Eric.
