  1. I was going tocheck for a sports delay, but didn’t. Watched what was recorded and now? No regrets. I was distracted by watching a married couple, which is not normally the case for me, so I’ll blame them. 😂

  2. Tony Goldwyn is a good actor, but no way could he pull off telling Nolan he was a great prosecutor. 😂

New writers, please, if I’m to continue with this. Ripped from the headlines has become cobbled mess of George Floyd, racists insurrectionists, and Karen tears getting an innocent black man in trouble with a side of gay. Plus an undercover cop!

  3. Spoiler

    Buddha had some interesting thoughts

Which I can do without—he was sorry douchey-hat Dave left so soon.

Saratoga Springs  has a hearty PR/marketing staff, a TC sponsorship snd their guy, Buddha in People magazine. Hard pass.

  4. Ha, with the Berkley house, she got her ranch, sorta and he got a staircase. Unless he wakes up when their baby is born, her attorney will use Dave’s Place to get her a better settlement in the divorce. WTF? He’s been doing some laundry! Aw, Dave is so amazing, in Dave’s head.

I get needing some space sometimes, but deliberately creating a world of your own—she gets the kitchen, I guess—with planned exits sucks. She must have really wanted to be married.

On a side note, why would you chose “this post is ok, I just wanted to tell a mod about it?” WTAH is that?

  5. Past the first minutes, I had to watch with cc and sound off (it’s recorded;-) I think I got the gist and I liked it. Kristen was terrific and when she side-eyed that no pasta guy? I knew he was toast.

  6. Thanks, Quinta, for highlighting the importance of school libraries. When bad guys want to raise an under-educated populace, under-funding public schools and book banning are good places to start.

I was very unprepared for Jack’s replacement to be so villainous.🦹🏼‍♂️

I hadn't seen him as villainous as much as testing Price. But now that you mention it, didn't they say he'd fired a bunch of the staff? So maybe he kept Price around to play with him, like a cat and mouse? Heh. Ugh. Maybe not.

  8. Well the L was better. Mostly because Nolan was channeling Jack. However, I know Sam Waterston and Hugh Dancy is no Sam Waterston.

otoh, I thought Baxter was right to avoid Nolan’s calls. As in, I’m not your Daddy, show me who you are.

Those videos were a bit much, though.

  9. I’ve been thinking. We know the fix is in on the hunter shows. But if we can’t yak about the drama—or comedy—presented, there’s not much to talk about. Just the houses’ style? Not sustainable without the hunters.

(Heh, David shows his lottery winners kitchens they say are nice—on HH or HHI, they complain, ask how much to redo or rule them out, LOL)

  10. Yikes, rerun of the not-wrecked house not meant for 8 people. Nice estimate by Jasmin, who needed 2 extensions totaling 5 weeks over the original 12.

Somethings not right with those parents. We’ve got $300k, pass on moving? Bet the mortgage was paid off because it was his grandmother’s house. So no mortgage for 6 years helps get you $300K.

8 people in an RV? Gosh, what could have happened that made them rent a house? With no budget for it? A call from Child Services?

    I wonder why that happened???

It was a long break — long enough to break the habit. And the new mission statement struck me as meh. I came for the snark. Maybe there are show forums that are problematic,  I’m not there. Also, I looked at the big list of new shows, and hadn’t heard of any of them.

Full disclosure, I deleted a bunch of unwatched HH eps. Lots of Florida, Alabama, descriptions of bs drama—zzzzzz.

  12. Until now, I was perplexed that the Marrs wanted a home in Italy. This makes more sense—it’s a job, in a remodeling-restrictive country (hello, YouTubers!), hundreds year old stone house, no language, no consistent schedule because they’ll go back and forth home/here, lots of obstacles, you know, like an HGTV show.

The only appropriate thing at this point is the little schlep Italian-style cheap truck. And Jenny shit all over that.

  13. Nice guys and the house turned out to suit them. That kitchen was good, Erin, really good for them. The backyard was nice, but all I could mage was steamy weather and bugs. So lots of time in the screened-in room (Pool will be used!

They pay 350k for a house with only 1 full bath.

I think they paid for the location, walking distance to “downtown “ Royal Oak. There are a few blocks with stores and cafes, as opposed to strip malls and parking lots.
The me-first sister actually made a point about the second smaller bedroom being more cozy—anything to make it seem like she wasn’t sacrificing anything for her sister.

  15. Taking pains to reinforce that the hero interactions are legit and meaningful, eh?

Jeremiah will get a lot more screen time than Bobby did. Wonder whose time he’ll be claiming? 😉
