  1. Well...that was, uh, fucked up and dreadfully dreary. The last straw was the donkey!

I really need to remember to check the "Does The Dog Die" website before I watch something. It no longer just covers animals but also anything that might be triggering/upsetting on. Aaaand this movie is among the ones trending on there right now.

  2. Damn, people, enough with the long-ass reflections on your life and career followed by your long-ass list of people you want to thank. Really, you're going to "beat up" the pianist, Chloe, who is just following the producer(s) instructions instead of letting you ramble on with no indication from you that you're wrapping it up?

True all that- but I find him hard to watch, mostly because after all this time, I feel that I should have a better idea of his story ( as in "what's his story??" ).

His looks, because they are with effort, are super puzzling to me.

    Anyone see grinch?

Yes, and for quite a while. I considered posting a picture, too, a couple of months ago but forgot.

  4. Recap footage of Rodney and Eliza where she says she wants him to ask her not to go on a date with Justin and he responds with those exact words. Back to the studio where it appears that Eliza is still suffering from selective hearing because she whines--again--that, "If he would have just said..."Rodney points out that he DID say exactly that. (Me: "Yes, thank you!"). Was he also supposed to Tarzan beat his chest, loudly pronounce, "You! Mine!" and drag her off by her hair?

Someone has a photo of the two of them at a big warehouse grocery store.

According to the article the clues all point to them still being in Nigeria. The picture was taken only a week ago and the Twitter user's bio shows that she lives there, too. Someone else commented that the brand name Molfix that's next to them is a diaper that's made in Nigeria.

I have always wandered around the house in the dark but I've found myself in the same situation sometimes lately & have found that Alexa & wifi bulbs &/or wifi plugs are a wonderful invention. You don't need to use Alexa but it is helpful to be able to shout at something to put a light on if you can't find your phone in the dark plus with the bulbs the colour and brightness can be adjusted to suit your needs so no more needing to be blinded by a light coming on.

There's always Alexa's distant, older cousin from a holler down yonder...

I don't understand the long nails especially when you have a baby at home, the same with Khloe.

I can't imagine having those. I'd absentmindedly go to rub my eyes and end up poking them out! Or even trying to go the bathroom...maybe they all have bidets? 🧻

It sure does. You can have 2 people in their mid 60's, one of them is in good shape and stays fit and limber. The other one acts like they are 80.

I'm in decent shape but have a fear of falling. I tripped over a curb on my way into the beauty salon the other day and didn't break anything (very lucky because I fell hard) but man I was so sore and embarrassed, too! Just be careful @STATISTICALOUTLIER!

The left side of my face that is still bruised two weeks after slamming full force into a brass corner of the wicker chest I use as a coffee table has really shaken me up. (ER doctor: "Do you feel safe at home?" Me: "Normally!") I have serious problems with balance and my blood pressure meds add dizziness into the mix. It's only a 10 foot walk through my living room and it's always been easy to navigate through it in the short distance of darkness. (On one side is the kitchen where I've left the stove light on and when I reach the other side of the living room to go upstairs, the stairs are illuminated by the bathroom light at the top.) This time? I turned from checking to make sure the door was locked, and then could see the white plume tail of my cat, who was suddenly in front of me. I lost my balance trying not to step on him and then because I had my both hands full I couldn't catch myself (not that I could see where I was falling anyway but at least I could have put my hands out and protected my face). Damn lucky the impact was to my cheekbone instead of my eye only a few inches above! I'm 59 and it's hard to admit I need to start being more cautious. I don't normally have lights on in the living room because I'm usually at the kitchen table on my laptop, however, I'm now putting the lamp on in the living room that's next to the stairs  Also using an old hiking pole as a quasi-cane. Actually, it's thanks to my hiking poles that I've even made it to 59. I've had balance problems for quite a while--it's just gotten worse in the last few years--and if I hadn't been using them during all my years of hiking I would have long ago lost my balance and fallen off a cliff or lost my footing in a creek and knocked my brains out on a rock! It just sucks that for the very first time I *am* a little bit scared at home. 😕

I didn't really mind Shaeeda's friend questioning Bilal because as usual he drags out his patronizing, passive-aggressive tone and I just had the sense that this independent, strong-minded woman wasn't having it and he doesn't like being stood up to.

Jovi's friend on the other hand...geez, I'm surprised he didn't make the cat meow/whipping sound to Jovi right in front of Yara. Asshat!

  9. It's "LOSE"! "Loose" is the opposite of "tight." Gah. It's gotten to the point that I'll do a double-take sometimes when "lose" is used correctly because for a few seconds I'm thinking, that doesn't look right.

It does seem that there is a direct correlation to his stopping medication. I saw the TMZ episode where he spouted off the BS about slavery being a choice (Van Lathan, who was still working there at the time, was the only Black man who immediately called him out and never backed down during their heated exchanges over the course of that hour). A day or two before Kanye came into the studio Harvey Levin had taped an uneventful, off-site, one-on-one interview and that was when Kanye admitted that he'd just recently stopped taking his meds due to it basically interring with him being a visionary genius.

Speaking from lifelong experience, it can take years to find the ones that work, which takes a few months, then adjusting the dosages, and which combination of meds will be most effective. Something tells me he wasn't at all proactive or patient to fully explore ways, and not just medically, to improve his mental health that don't hinder his "creative process." Nor, for that matter, even comprehends the devastation he's causing due to his uncontrolled mental health.

The Kanye that came to the TMZ studios was totally different from the interview he'd just done with Levin. To me, his erratic behavior during the live episode, was the beginning of his downward spiral and IMO, it was because he'd just stopped taking his medication (and probably didn't even taper down first).

  10. I'd like to see Jenny with, maybe a shoulder-length bob but most of all, glasses with smaller frames! I love the Indian clothing she wears. I've never really minded her and Sumit; after watching so many seasons and iterations of the show, they're definitely one of the least toxic couples (despite his terror of a mother) and are really kind of adorkable.

  11. Villagers: "Woo hoo! We fought off the Orcs!"

Villagers: "Another attack?! Okay, we've totally vanquished them this time! Let's have a huge celebration!"

"Hi, I'm your new neighbor, Mount Doom."

Yeah, there's no way anyone or anything would have survived being that close. Mount St. Helens flattened and completely burned everything within at least 50 miles, and all the way down in Portland, at least a hundred miles away was coated in light ash. Heck, my mom and I were even farther away from Portland camping on the Oregon Coast and we knew the volcano had exploded because there was a very slight covering of ash on our tent when we woke up. Also, it really bothers my lungs when the wind blows smoke here from wildfires a few hundred miles away. Last year, for the first time I can ever remember, we had an entire week of it in Portland and the air quality was so bad you were advised not to be outside for any length of time. Not that it was even possible for me to totally seal off the inside of my apartment from it so I did a makeshift air purifier with a filter, box fan, and wet towel to sit in front of but was also concerned about my cats breathing in the smoke. So it's impossible that the smoke inhalation alone wouldn't have killed those in the village not long after!

Oh.  My bad.  LIndbergh being a Nazi sympathizer is well documented.  In my mind, he's always been right there with the Duke of Windsor.

I recommend Ken Burns's recent PBS documentary series, The U.S. and the Holocaust, and HBO's miniseries of Philip Roth's The Plot Against America for a fictional alternative history version where Nazi sympathizer LIndbergh wins the 1940 election.  Some of the things Lindbergh actually said, in public, will make your jaw drop.

    I'll definitely check those out!

No, I believe she said that the female aviator Laura Ingalls was a cousin of Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Oops, sorry I worded it badly, I wasn't referencing Lindberg as being her cousin. Since he's the one I'd heard of before because he was so famous (and the Lindberg Baby kidnapping) I meant that it was quite a twist to find out he became a Nazi sympathizer. It was strange to keep hearing the name "Laura Ingalls" in a completely different context, but it was also interesting that another aviator of some public stature ended up the same way.

Now I'm really curious about what Amelia Earhart may have been up to and that perhaps she didn't just "accidentally" go missing. 👽😄

  14. Charles Lindberg?! Laura Ingalls Wilder's distant cousin? I never knew this about Lindberg so it was a twist I didn't see coming! See, this is why I hate that she's just on once a week because I enjoy her quirky history lessons and the way she connects them to current events.

The behavior of the police as appalling.  I know the two cops who handed the kid back over to Dahmer were terminated and later reinstated with back pay.  The one guy went on to become president of his police union.  And them calling the father to harass him.  I'm not sure if that really happened or dramatic license, but it wouldn't have surprised me if they had done that.

This is what I posted over on another episode thread:

After each episode I've followed up with the link someone supplied that succinctly covers what's real or not in the series, and am relieved that those policemen did not actually receive any Officer of the Year awards. I audibly gasped when it was revealed that officers were the ones making the threatening calls! The police chief said that while it was indeed done by officers (and a spouse), there was no indication that those two officers had taken part in it.

  16. It's a shame that Michael doesn't have a taser gun...or two (for Angela's friend, who also turns out to be an obnoxious she-beast).

I feel so sorry for anyone who had to sit near them on the airplane. Some smokers constantly smell like stale cigarette smoke is coming from every pore and I'm thinking that's the case, especially if Angela could so easily identify her new BFF during their meet cute.
