Does Margot not have any other friends or family? Or do they all know Summer and refused to take her in?
After watching I can definitely believe the latter.
I agree about Poppy & Bodhi being the best characters. I also enjoyed Honey and her complete indifference to surfing.
Despite Summer being annoying, I enjoyed the first season well enough and wouldn't mind seeing another one. I also wouldn't care all that much if it this was it.

Even though the 1969 should have told me immediately it was Sesame Street, it never occurred to me.
The 1969 connection is what got me to Sesame Street pretty quickly as I remember the 50th anniversary celebration from a few years back. That, along with the Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers clue and last night's Portland are three FJ triple stumpers that I was able to get. That said, I thought the first two clues were pretty poorly written.
As much as I liked Ryan, I'm enjoying not having a super champion. I hope that continues for a while.

Still no LGBTQ members in the NCIS universe, though. Not even in LA??
There's an on again/off again lesbian relationship with two of the regular characters on NCIS: Hawaii.
I liked that for this show this episode was kinda laid back. I actually think this could have worked as a pretty good series finale.

I liked the old Yankees announcer and the Vote and Prom videos were great, especially the latter. I also enjoyed Weekend Update and thought Pete's segment was funny, disappointed that we didn't get a Che/Jost joke swap.
That was about it, though, and overall I thought it was a pretty weak finale. I did think Natasha Lyonne was a pretty good host, she just didn't have much to work with.

I know it's easy to forget since it's happened to her about forty times give or take, but Joelle was kidnapped and tortured by Katya in one of her revenge on Callen schemes. I think Joelle lost a finger in the process.
When Callen was talking to Katya about them teaming up to take out Pembroke, I couldn't help but think that would have been more interesting than this silly deep fake thing we got. That said, I don’t exactly have confidence in this show being able to pull that off.

I laughed a lot at Weekend Update as well as the play, talk show & baby twins sketches. I also really enjoyed the pre taped clips, especially the one with Steve Martin & Aidy Bryant. The rest wasn't as good, but the only dud for me was the guidance counselor/model sketch. Selena was pretty good, although I do wish the writers would have given a little more of the comedy heavy lifting.
Even though he messed up his one line I could definitely see Post Malone hosting in the future. I wouldn't disapprove.

Fred Ward was one of those actors who made every movie he was in better. He had a lot of great performances (The Right Stuff, Tremors, The Player to name just a few), but in some ways my favorite film with him might have been the third Naked Gun movie. I loved him in that.
RIP 😞

Winning Time has been renewed for a second season.
Regarding the rest of this season,
SpoilerRolling Stone TV critic Alan Sepinwall tweeted that critics have seen eight of the ten episodes and they still haven't started the 1980 playoffs by the end of those episodes.

I know that Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform and obviously could not, but it occurs to me that there was no dedicated rock and roll performance tonight. Lenny Kravitz performing with H.E.R. was the most R&R performance of the night. Who got Foo Fighters' slot and why was it not a rock and roll artist?
For years these award shows would have a token rap/hip-hop artist perform, now it's completely flipped and the rock acts get the token treatment. It's disappointing but not surprising they didn't get a rock act to replace the Foos.

I guess it shows you where rock ranks with the Grammys these days that Taylor Hawkins' tribute is a little video clip and then Charlie Watts barely gets two seconds in the middle of the Memoriam montage.

I just started watching. Did they do any of the tributes yet?
No, but they did just announce that John Legend will be leading a "musical moment" for Ukraine which sounds incredibly frightening.

I hate to be one of those people, but there really should have been more of a reaction in that crowd to Joni Mitchell being there.

That production manager was so nervous her microphone was shaking.
I don't care much one way or the other about Billie Eilish but I for sure love that shirt she's wearing.

Coaches started wearing less formal attire during the pandemic and that dress code has stuck even as fans have come back to arenas. I don't mind it, but I suspect I might be in the minority with that opinion.
I'm really enjoying this show and cast, although I do wonder just far into the Lakers timeline they're going to go in the remaining episodes.

3 hours and 42 minutes. Yep, not broadcasting those eight categories live on the show really sped things up and made it more watchable.

Anthony Hopkins' performance in The Father was one of the most brilliant and heartbreaking I've ever seen.

Jessica Chastain is going to win and it will be for a mediocre performance in a bad movie. Sigh.

Eh, that's three Bond theme songs in a row that have won.
And they're all utterly forgettable.

I thought it was a direct allusion to Demi Moore's movie GI Jane, where Demi had shaved her head. If it meant more, it went over my head.
I thought at least part of it also had to do with her green dress.

Looks like THE POWER OF THE DOG is going down in flames. I wonder if they are going to grab at least one award or if they are going to go total goose egg.
Jane Campion should still win for Best Director, but otherwise it looks like it's heading for a 1/12 showing.

The Annual Primetime Emmys - General Discussion
in The Primetime Emmy Awards (Emmys)
I don't get the love for Euphoria at all. On the other hand, I'm happy to see Abbott Elementary get embraced as much as it did.
Hader, Sudeikis, Glover, Martin & Short. That is a big time line up in that category.
I was really hoping Selina Gomez would get a nomination. Oh well.
I guess Succession will be the favorite in most drama categories, which is just fine with me.
