I cried because I always cry over any depiction of the Lincoln assassination, in writing or on the screen. On a shallow note, the guy playing Robert Todd Lincoln was cute. Loved Rufus' choice of "Denzel," a nod to "Glory."

I liked the segment about Daymond. He seemed genuinely moved.

Eric's intent was 100% crystal clear when he had Quinn's name put on that document and signed it in front of a notary. The POA was fully executed and expressed his legal intent that Quinn be in charge of his affairs in the case of his incapacitation. Carter has no excuse for his behavior.

Wyatt should have followed Carter to the office and told him "Hand over the POA or I call the California Bar Association. See I have their number right here on my phone."

OMG, if Wyatt doesn't tell his mother, I will be joining Eric in the stroke center! I loved him telling Puffy off, but the next scene better be him throwing her off him and going to Quinn. And, Carter, you are a pathetic POS.

Matt and Shelby are the stupidest people on earth. Period. I thought Matt said Gaga had been an "English girl." If so, why the weird accent. I hate that they killed off two awesome characters in one episode.

Yeah, WTF happened to the power hungry, scheming Ricky? That Rick would have sided with Eric to become the favored son. At the very least, that Rick would demand to see the POA not take Pig Pen's word for it. And, yes, Wyatt is a pathetic douche excuse for a son. Where does Stuffy get off wailing "I knew she would hurt my grandfather!"? Quinn didn't hurt Eric. His family did. Thomas didn't look thrilled that Caroline has decided to plant her flag on him. He needs to tell her that while she was off finding herself, he found someone else.

Any epi with that much Barba in it, I'll watch. And he was no way good looking!

As others have noted, Pig Pen can't just tell people he has the POA. The signed, witnessed document has to be produced before anyone with a lick of sense would agree to let Skid Marks take charge. Ugh! This f*cking story is driving me crazy!

I hate how soaps mangle legal storylines! Carter needs to decide who his client is. I assume he is employed by FC and is on the corporate payroll. In that case, he shouldn't be doing private legal work for Ridge. Furthermore, if he decided to go along and break ethical rules by doing so, he should have had Eric bring his personal attorney to the meeting about the POA. BTW, who changed the POA to say Quinn instead of Pig Pen? It didn't look as if someone had just used Liquid Paper on it. And didn't Carter say it was notarized?

STFU, Maya. Quinn has more rights to be there in that hospital room than your stupid sister. I. Hate. Ridge. I. Hate. Puffy.

Ed Harris has badass down pat! The scenery is just stunning. This show is a visual treat on top of everything else. Didn't know there was another Hemsworth! What a handsome family! :-) Looking forward to more.
