Aren’t Gil and Kelly both college educated? They should be ashamed of “schooling” such poorly educated kids.
That doesn't even begin what they should be ashamed of regarding their kids.

Oh no not LQ Jones--he's one of my favorite supporting actors from Westerns who was still alive, though he was in a lot of different genres. Even if the movie was bad, he was always good. I saw an interview with him from a few years ago, and he still seemed pretty spry and vibrant. I was hoping he'd write a memoir. His anecdotes about making Peckinpah movies were always hilariously weird.
In the last few days I saw him on Perry Mason and Wagon Train, thanks to METV. I was happily surprised he was still living.

And yes, as long as they hold on to their hateful beliefs and want to take rights from women, LGBT, POC and other marginalized populations, people will absolutely complain to their sponsors. And I applaud that, because hate and bigotry must be called out at every turn, IMHO.
Exactly.

I hope that no one gives a dime unless they know who is controlling the funds. If JRod has access, all bets are off as to her parents actually receiving the money for their own use.
Interesting that JRod's parents, living on land owned by their daughter and both well into their 70's, apparently need to work full time to support themselves. Are they not eligible for SS? Do they not already have that income stream? Why would they be building a house at their ages if their finances are so precarious? What have they been doing all these years that they seemingly have no rainy day savings at all?
JRod is right, it is probably going to be months, if ever, before her mother can return to their home which is apparently unfinished and undoubtedly not barrier-free and may need major adaptations for her. Perhaps her father should do what most people do in this instance: return to work as his wife recovers, see her when he can, and try to save up so he can have FMLA when she is home. Surely, she should be able to be transferred to a rehab facility near their home within a couple of weeks, why wouldn't he at least be able to return to work then? Sounds like the classic fundie grift as per Carlin and Evan `who also 'need' him to stay home from work for months while she 'recovers' and they take trips and vacations and go to parties as they always have.
Just because JRod's father prefers not to work at present doesn't mean he cannot. Nor does it mean that her many children and adult grandchildren should not step forward and help them first. As Mick Jagger once said, 'you can't always get what you want'.
ETA: Which one of you compassionate Christians donated $1000 anonymously?
Fortunately for people like JRod there are kind and generous people. If Jill and her family had to depend on supposed Christians like her they would be out of luck. Jill does nothing for anyone but Jill.

How can they possibly maintain online relationships with vendors and distributors when at the very first sign of a partnership on social media, hoards of "Duggar Gatekeepers", bent on destroying EVERY opportunity they find for themselves, descend on the company sites?
Every product most of these family members try to partner with, gets the viciously gleeful response from posters here & elsewhere to "Hey, let's ALL go bombard that company with SM messages about how horribly horrible and hateful everything is about these people and how nobody will EVER buy anything from you unless you ditch them!!"
THAT'S practically a full-time job for some people on the Net. We see them here.
I'll criticize them & companies they hook up with, but I just don't have the time or need to do more than make a passing comment.
Besides, these days, lots of influential people feel if you don't have a side hustle somewhere in Cyberspace, you're just a nobody with no ambition and no skills.
The people I watch regularly on You Tube do something I'm interested in. Shop, cook and share really good easy recipes. Clean in way I don't mind watching. If they have children they're not shown very much and pets. One is renovating a home and that's really fun to watch. They've already renovated their own home. There's room decoration and one makes birthday cakes for her kids. With Jinger and Jeremy, they seem to want to come across as young and cool... happening. She likes to shop and he likes to eat at trendy places. There's probably not a large market for them and when people know what Jeremy has signed and represents, it makes them less able to keep vendors. What they show is pretty boring and even though some fans will still support them, they need to find places like Holly Lobby and Chick-fil-A to support them for ads.

Our Pushka died on Friday night/Saturday morning. 😓 He was only ten years old. He lost a lot of weight suddenly, so we gave him something called Rebound, that did help to bring his appetite back, and he was perkier again. We were going to take him to the vet, because he was still too thin.
He's always been the quietest one, and he was mostly my dad's cat - he adored my dad, and the feeling was mutual. My dad said "he was the first cat that was mine." the first cat he'd really had, not one that I'd found, for example. Dad found him in the parking lot of a McDonald's, ten years ago. May 2012, in Amish country. They took to each other right away, and he slept in dad's lap, on the way home. We hadn't had cats in our house for about nine months, and he knew we missed having one around.
It still hasn't really sunk in that he's gone. Every year, he would find one or two favourite spots outside, and he would stay there for as long as possible. I would have to go out, and pick him up, to bring him back inside, in the middle of the night, or if it was getting cold/going to rain. I keep expecting to see him out there, or in another of his favourite spots in the house. And now I'm crying again. I told friends that he was gone, and then avoided the subject for a few days, I've kind of been in denial.
I accidentally clicked quote, damn it. I meant to click the link button.
What a beautiful much loved Pushka! What an amazing life you all shared. I hope you and your dad find great peace in knowing what love you showed him in his life.

Because you obviously can't have too many Immanuel Baptist churches in that area, Ben's church is in Springdale.

I know they don't want to give an angry reaction but this makes me angry. She really is the worst.

I was livid when I first saw the post yesterday, but I didn't read the comments then. It must have been BAD for him to delete and disable. 😂
Probably similar to the baby at the piano page. The comments at the bottom are about the baby and how cute. The later ones are the ones responding to the picture of his mom and his complaining about his mistreatment.

Deservedly so. So much of what's been written here. I only saw one comment that was kind but with advice.

People are really getting on them on Instagram for posting a picture of his ill mother, verbally trashing the nursing home, being entitled and blanket training. The page where their little girl is at the piano. I like this a little too much.

The nursing home gets 4.6 out of 5 from 20 people on Facebook. From the reviews:
"A family is publicly trashing this facility for following rules requiring masks and restricting in-person visits. As a former hospice nurse, I commend the facility for standing up to these people and protecting the residents. I saw the devastating effects of Covid in nursing homes and hope never to see such a thing again. I held the hands of dying patients when their families weren’t allowed to visit.
No, window and zoom visits aren’t the same, but safety is the most important thing with this vulnerable population. Thank you for keeping ALL of your residents safe."

And is there a reason he keeps dragging his 100 children along? Geez, he's a piece of shit. Go back to the house you took from your daughter and rot, you big loser.
Taking the house from his daughter just goes along with his entitlement.

They certainly like to up the drama don't they? Denied the right to physically hug his mom, after she had a stroke, which was out of her control. Unlike other people who have their very controlled strokes. And this wasn't the first time. It also happened while super mom and super Christian Christina was nursing the baby and her mask fell down. Tragic.

This is not the day for me to have sympathy/empathy for someone who has control over whether they get to do something. Follow the damn rules everyone else has to. Wear your mask and keep a distance decided by someone else to keep others safe. I realize caring about others isn't their first thought but if you want to visit your mom it's necessary.

Well, Jessa is her mother's daughter!
Exactly! This is what happens when a woman who doesn't have a heart for children has 19 of them. So much her mother's daughter in the saddest sense of the meaning.
