Did anyone see the short clip from next week’s episode that they aired during MAFS Australia? I’m sure some people will see Clara as sticking her nose into someone else’s business, but I can’t help feeling as though she really is coming from a good place. When we saw all the couples getting together in the last episode, she seemed to be genuinely concerned for Paige even before Chris announced his “di$turbing new$.”

LOL, does Whitney think of herself like Mel and Sue on the old GBBO, when they would curse and be inappropriate so that footage of the contestants getting upset wouldn’t be usable?
I have to give her production team props for throwing it in - otherwise she would definitely just start stripping down every time she was doing or saying something she didn’t want aired!

Natalie is certainly no prize, but I don’t understand why Mike agreed to bring her over on the K-1 if he doesn’t want to marry her. It’s not like they were happy when she first got here. He seemed over it the last time he was getting his hair cut, before Natalie even arrived.

Does anyone really think Julia will be fine with shoveling pig shit and feeding ravenous goats before sunrise as long as she gets to move in with Brandon?
I am not ready to blame all of their problems on Parents Brandon (who definitely suck, don’t get me wrong). I think Brandon is selfish and is responsible for a lot of Julia’s unhappiness. Every time they show her in that storage room crowded with garbage, I wonder why Brandon couldn’t have taken that room and let Julia sleep somewhere that isn’t filled with buckets of hot tub chemicals or livestock feed.

I’m new to this show. My work has been short-staffed for awhile so I haven’t really had any free time to watch the garbage tv I usually enjoy, but we’ve finally onboarded our new hires and I figured that TLC wouldn’t let me down on my first available evening in quite some time.
I guess I’m wondering a few things. First, is anyone else very concerned about the ambulance attendant who had to sit through Cindy’s initial waffling between staying home and going to live with Sandy? He seemed as though he was nearly at the end of his rope, and I’m worried that he might watch this episode and realize that entire ordeal was pretty much for nothing.
Second, I remember coming across articles last year about this show continuing to film in violation of shelter in place orders at the start of the pandemic. If this episode is typical of the content for which production risked their safety as well as that of the public, that is deeply upsetting.
Finally, am I getting old, or is it actually very difficult to keep track of who is whom in a show populated with a Cindy, a Sandy, and a Kandy?

It wouldn’t surprise me. When have we seen Whitney behaving appropriately with anyone? I can imagine the crew constantly just shrugging “yeah, she’s always like this” when various weightlifting competitors/bridal shop employees/French passersby are expressing shock and confusion.

Maybe not someone whose life is fabulous, but I distinctly remember one of the 1,000-Lb. Sisters undergoing weight loss surgery. It stuck out to me because she started the season heavier than Whitney and ended it well below the lowest number we’ve seen Whitney weigh in at.

Agreed! Even if TLC was encouraging this bad idea, they clearly couldn’t force the barnacles to do it since Heather didn’t go. I thought it was a little ridiculous of the others to be acting so superior to Ryan for posting pictures at bars. It looked like were all meeting up for a vacation at a point that cases were rising sharply enough that their governor slowed down the plans to reopen. I’m sure that line about delaying Phase 3 was probably just there to set up Whitney to express disappointment at the gyms staying closed. But to me it just highlighted how irresponsible they were being, to have that discussion on the way to meet up with friends.

She didn’t say for sure but I’m guessing the part was that spider bite that already looked about to succumb to infection while Jerry was still there.
