  1. Pavlov did the experiments with reinforcement, where he taught dogs to salivate before food came. He would pair a bell with food, and over time, removed the food and the dogs were conditioned to salivate just to the bell. Since Sutton was giving the dog cucumbers, which the dog liked, maybe she was saying she knew a trick to get dogs to salivate. Really, I don't think the comment made tons of sense, but it had something to do with a dog-begging-food combo.
  2. My six would be: 1. Kyle 2. LVP 3. Kathryn 4. Boz 5. Yolanda 6. Eileen Kyle and LVP have great chemistry. Kyle loves mimicking her British accent and admires her wealth, and they have fun. Everyone is well established so Kyle will not be suspicious. Yolanda and Boz would end up married. Eileen would cheerlead for everyone. Kathryn is blunt and outspoken, has money and a name, and doesn't care about proving herself, and can jam in any setting. Eileen brings the class, and LVP and Eileen bring some tension. Boz would make everyone step up their fashion game and make everything more fun. Kyle would be thrilled for fun things to do and reasons to be happy. Yolanda would also bring some class and keep people anchored and controlled (so it doesn't become RHOC). LOL.
  3. Of all the housewives on Beverly Hills, past and present, if you could create the ratings soaring cast, with minimal villains (or NONE) who would you chose? You can choose SIX (6). Here are the options: Taylor Kyle Lisa V Lisa R Kim Eileen Brandi Adrienne Camille Yolanda Carlton Joyce Eden Erika Kathryn Dorit Teddi Denise Garcelle Sutton Chystal Diana Annemarie Bozoma Also, and bonus, provide rationales. Making you all think a bit!!!! :)
  4. Okay! You care way more about this than I do. Sounds fine to me.
  5. I feel like if Ericka knew, she would have been better prepared. I think she was blindsided. She is smart but Tom is smarter. When the shit hit the fan, her true colors were revealed. She definitely fell apart. That's just my opinion though. To be fair, we will never ever know the real truth behind everything, and it doesn't matter at this point. The person that knows and can tell is Tom, and he's mentally incapacitated.
  6. When Ericka was first introduced in Season 6, she was so different. She was happy and light and was so so proud of Tom. She really thought he was the most successful amazing lawyer in the world and kept herself busy while waiting to have time with him. She made the comment that his settlements were sometimes BILLIONS. She really thought he was raking it in because of his amazing law prowess. She also said that she never sees Tom during the day because he is so busy, and there is no time to stop in at the office to see him because he was too busy. She definitely was part of dinners and events where a lot of law talk happened, and maybe it was also a big part of their pillow-talk, but he talked about the law, legal stuff. The problem he is in, and got Ericka into, is because of things he did that were illegal. she is a good listener, and smart, so I'm sure she learned a lot. But his private work life and bookkeeping-- he did not share that with her. You could be married to anyone-- a chef, a teacher, a professor, etc., and learn so much, but that doesn't mean you know their dark side. ERicka didn't know about it because Tom did not want her to know. She knew and understood what he allowed her to hear. I don't doubt that Tom encouraged Ericka to take any paperwork he prepared for to sign and read it over and over and ask questions. He probably did the same thing with his clients which is why they trusted him and felt safe. I think that's key. Ericka trusted Tom. She felt safe with Tom. She thought he was everything good. And when that came crumbling down and she was faced with the consequences of his decisions, she could not cope. Tom did not prepare her for how to deal with any aftermaths, because he didn't let Ericka know the danger they were in.
  7. Tom screwed over Ericka just like he screwed over his clients. My observation is that people were upset with Ericka because she didn't seem to care about the clients and what they went through/were going through. Public opinion thought she should relinquish any property/money she did have rights to to pay off Tom's debts to his clients. It would have served her better to seem concerned about the clients, or at least, not clinging to her rights to expensive jewelry and things, which made her look really really bad. Tom is a con artist. He had his clients sign agreements that were bunk or that he didn't fulfill or both. I'm sure he did the exact same with Ericka. Her "Ericka Jayne" was extraordinarily expensive. He pulled from his clients to pay for her Ericka Jayne business. Maybe at first, when he was solvent, he thought it was a wise investment and would make money, but over time, it just got more and more expensive and never became profitable, so he used the client settlement monies. I'm positive Ericka would have no idea about this, and Tom, with his huge ego and pathology, had no intention of letting her know he couldn't afford to support "Ericka Jayne." Now that Tom is gone, so is Ericka Jayne. Big surprise. IMO, it was a dumb show, with an obviously older woman, with no real singing or dancing talents, trying to be Britney Spears. It was so weird.
  8. Sutton is not good at speeches. I think she's begging her mom and daughter to be "proud" of her, because she spent a gobsmacking amount of money on her fashion line and is incredibly nervous about it. Shannon from OC did the same-- she "invested" her settlement monies in some ill-fated businesses that she didn't have the money to continue to market and grow. I hope Sutton makes a profit, but really, if she comes close to breaking even, she will be incredibly lucky. Who knows though. There are people as rich and richer than Sutton that make ill-fated investments and end up in really bad financial straits. Even if you have the capital to start operations, you still need investors-- you can't be alone on the hook for all the money and decision making. Sutton is not a business person. She should have found an investor with a business acumen and experience, and also should have a mentor. It's just doomed. IMO
  9. I felt bad for Sutton in her dress. It was a beautiful dress but she has that tummy and that dress accentuated it. Like Pattycake2 said, Sutton is super tiny. She needs a tummy tuck with liposuction and then needs to get rid of all the booze! She has the alcohol middle. Her mother has it too. Sutton isn't going to get rid of the tummy without surgery. She can't possibly lose any more weight.
  10. Regarding Dorit's tagline, "I may look like a doll, but don't wind me up." The toys that you wind up are those plastic things that bob around and fall off the table or hit a table leg and go nowhere. Regardless, toys that you wind up go away and I think that's what we all want Dorit to do.
  11. Is Kathy ever sober? She said she broke her knee but was still at the party with a drink in hand. If emergency rooms had a bar, Kathy would be there every day.
  12. Garcelle's son is very handsome and I think he is going to have a future in modeling. He's 16 now, but those cheekbones and facial structure aren't going anywhere. The taglines are always a little cringy. Here are some more. Kyle: I'm not gay but my girlfriend is. Sutton: Who needs a mother's love when you have alimony! Ericka: Sugar babies have no age or income. Bring on the daddies. Jennifer Tilly: I've gone from poker face to reaction shots and I nail them both. Garcelle: HBCUs are my business. Drama is my passion. Yes, I know. They all suck.
  13. Do people have wind up dolls? Better, "My wallet doesn't define me. My fashion does." Which is also really stupid.
  14. I fast forwarded a lot of this, but I don't care about house decorations and shots of getting spaces and places ready for events. Ericka's place didn't look too different before and after. I did like the wallpaper. Sutton's dress didn't fit right. She has a thick waist, and it was obvious with the cut outs and just not flattering. And the hair extensions? It was like she was confusing this with a debutante ball. Kathy Hilton is a hoot. She clearly dislikes Mauricio, and she can really get away with saying anything to Kyle. And her limping around on the runway gave both suspense and of course ample opportunities for Kyle to make reaction shots. Garcelle met up with Dorit because she wanted someone to talk shit about Kyle with. They spent about 30 seconds asking each other how they were doing and then the rest of the time talking about Kyle. They seemed to have a nice time though. Sutton's clothes-- not sure about the neckline on the tops. It's like a weird shape and is cut waaaaaaaaaay too low. Sheana Shay was there too-- Sutton owes her since she stole her "offended" act. Sutton even features the Shay distain look on her website, spotlighting her "name em!" skit.
  15. Back when Dorit was introduced in Season 7 by LVP, she was attached at PKs hip, and she was VERY sure to let everyone know how rich they were-- they had 2 assistants, 3 nannies, and 3 housekeepers. Dorit laughed off how she needs "such a large staff." Now she is living in a messy getting messier house, with only her mom to help run the household. If you think she's unsufferable now, just watch her in her first season. It's so bad, but she's teamed up with PK, and has LVP on her side. Kyle immediately side eyed her accent, which she defended (I think she was influenced by PK and Boy George). She was more off and on with her accent too.
  16. Josh now realizes that he likes Natalie because she cares about his dad's knee and is caring. Okay. I wonder what the deal is with Julia's parents. I think Brandon should be happy to have his in-laws there. Julia had to deal with living with his parents and he didn't care. I can't figure out what bird Florian looks like.
  17. Mina's tears in the hot tub, IMO, were brought on by way of alcohol. I've been there-- got teary over conversations that normally would not be that big of a deal. She was right to go to bed. Sometimes, it's just time to call it a night.
  18. I don't think Boz needs a confidant nor wants advice from anyone. She's going to do what she is going to do. Does Dorit know (or remember) her daughter's name? Probably not. Does Boz care? Probably not. IMO, when the other ladies saw that Boz was warming up to Dorit, they tried to "win" Boz to their side. She wasn't having it, and now she's like a dog with a bone (Dorit being the bone). LOL. Or when Sutton pisses Dorit off, Dorit could do a Kim Richards, and say, "I can not accept this handbag. I have to return it to you. It's bad energy." While holding the bag, then somberly, hand it back over. I wonder what ever happened to that bunny?
  19. It seemed like she was looking for some dirt or problems/issues to match her problems and issues. She seems to only like people who confide in her and she can commiserate with.
  20. Dorit is kind of like Gretchen. Always being picked on by the mean girls, yet desperate to be liked by them. Gretchen attempts at aggressively defending herself also failed. I will give Dorit credit for being the only one to notice, and be legitimately alarmed (at the fashion faux pas) at Denise's upside-down pink coat gaffe. Which was awesome. Probably the most sincere gesture of kindness Dorit has shown.
  21. Makes no sense to me. If two people love each other, have great communication, are confident and secure, have an amazing strong relationship-- why mess it up by introducing new people?
  22. I get all that, but I don't think Kyle and Mauricio are that rich. Jennifer yes, Kathy Hilton, well duh. But Kyle and Maurico? I don't think so. Mauricio is a real estate agent-- you have good years and bad years. Good months and bad months. spending one month could float, but other months the same spending could mean debt. It's just a different situation with Sutton, and her husband was in a whole different industry. I don't think Kyle and Mauricio are "that" rich. They have money, but not wealth. IMO.
  23. Maybe. But people who gamble as a hobby (Tilly is a "professional" poker player) have too much money and don't know how to spend it all. But Tilly is smart in that she has kept her money and riches and not allowed her gambling boyfriend access to it. In Vogue this month, Tilly said about being on the show, " I’m always like, “Hey, I’m over here!” I'm wearing my jewelry and nice outfit, and I sit there trying to make an interesting reaction face so that they’ll cut to me." Kyle and Sutton are PLAYERS at the reaction shot. Kyle wins though hands down. She reacts to everything.
  24. Kelly was a snob for sure, but she also thought she was fantastically beautiful. Kelly was a super model in her own mind. And she looked down on Bethanny for being more homely and regular looking. In Kelly's jab, I think it was more about how they looked/physical attributes. She made comments about Bethanny's appearance many times. To be fair, I could very likely be projecting because I have always found Bethanny to be very unfortunate looking.
  25. I think the world is jealous of Sutton's money. LOL.
