Seems a little late in the game to finally give Jonah a new love interest with weeks to go, especially when Amy's return is probably imminent
I'm actually starting to think that Amy/America doesn't come back. It's the only way this makes sense.
QuoteI'd laugh if Jonah was "endgame" with a random.
It will definitely make re-watches a little weird.

Meg Donnelly and Giselle Eisenberg recently posted that AH has wrapped for the season.
So I wonder how many total episodes we're looking at. 13? 15?
And where does "Graduation" fit into the count? I've seen it listed as the first episode of S5, and the 21st episode of S4.

I wonder how many episodes they have left to shoot.
I haven't seen anything online that indicates that they've wrapped.

Watching Patrick Mahomes run for his life brought back unpleasant memories of Cam Newton and SB 50.

If I learned anything this season, it's that I hate the Patriots more than I hate Brady. Was rooting for the Chiefs, but didn't lose any sleep over the Bucs winning.

Did not see the Nia twist coming. Poor Jonah. 😄

No problem. I was responding to the post just above mine.

Jared Goff signed a guaranteed contract for $110 million.
I don't feel bad for him.
Not even a little bit.

No way Houston trades him within the division. He needs to call Detroit.

The weakest part of this show has always been Katy's "career". I care as little about her vlog as I did her lasagna business and party planning job.
I didn't mind Holly Robinson-Peete, but I hope this doesn't mean 2nd breakfast is over. That was one of my favorite parts of the show.
Overall, I thought this was a pretty good episode. And I think I'm getting used to Anna-Kat 2.0. I've pretty much stopped imagining her lines being spoken by Julia Butters.

My stepson is an obnoxious Pats fan, and his head will explode if Brady wins a SB in Tampa.
I'm not a Brady fan, but I'd kinda like to see that.
As far as the GOAT thing goes, I put Peyton Manning a lot closer to Brady than most people do. Sure he doesn't have the number of rings that Brady does, but he didn't have Belichick for a coach either.

Saints out. I'm good.

I thought it was a good episode. Besides laying out Garrett's frustrations, they also did a good job with with the idea of white people wanting to do/say the right thing, but failing. This show has never backed away from social issues, so I don't expect them to start now, even down the final stretch.
I have to say that this may have been the first episode where I didn't even notice Amy's absence. Nia did a fine job of standing in as the voice of reason. Further proof that the show could've continued without America Ferrera. I think that one of the reasons the show is ending because of the logistics of filming such a large ensemble cast during Covid. As disinterested as I am in a Cheyenne/Bo spinoff, they can obviously do it with a much smaller cast (and budget).
More Cody, please.

Guess I'm in the minority. This show makes me laugh, which is enough to keep me watching.
That being said, I'm probably not invested enough to regularly discuss it on a message board. 😐

He wasn't clear completely tanking the games because he still needed to coach for another job but he also had little incentive otherwise to work that hard to win games for the panthers. I doubt he was giving it his all that year.
Fox was clearly in IDGAF mode, and I don't think anyone blamed him.
Ownership had turned on him, but was too cheap to pay two coaches. So he had to coach the last year of a contract that clearly wasn't gonna be extended. And with Jimmy Clausen as his QB, who he didn't have a high opinion of. (Rightly so, in retrospect).
Fox' tenure had run its course, but he deserved better from Panthers' ownership.

True. There's gotta be some job security there. In Charlotte, the GM who oversaw their 2-14 season is the same guy who drafted Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly.
If the owner wants to tank, all he's got to do is close the purse strings.
Players and coaches don't tank, but they can be set up to fail.

I have to take issue with the people saying that tanking doesn't happen. Sure, coaches and players don't tank, but GM's do assemble crappy rosters in the hopes of a high draft pick. And you've got to be BAD, because they're no draft lottery. Hell, this year 1-15 might not get it done.
The Panthers absolutely tanked for Andrew Luck in 2010. In fact, they did such a great job of being terrible, that they convinced him to stay at Stanford for another year. 😟
