Playoff Schedule Time! Saturday: Seattle at San Francisco: 4:30 on FOX Los Angeles at Jacksonville: 8:15 on NBC Sunday: Miami at Buffalo 1:00 on CBS New York at Minnesota 4:30 on FOX Baltimore at Cincinnati 8:15 on NBC Monday: Dallas at Tampa Bay: 8:15 on ESPN

While San Francisco has dominated the Seahawks this year, the former probably would've been better off facing Green Bay. The 49ers own the Packers. As mentioned, if Tampa beats Dallas, then so be it. I have to disagree with the Brady stuff. People will whine & cry about how unfair it is that Dallas had to travel to Raymond James Stadium despite a superior record. The Cowboys are playing like crap, TB12 is undefeated against America's team, and that includes Week One as a road team
-
First time someone winning a SNF game ends their season with that game. Still dumb for the league to put Packers/Lions on SNF. Totally stupid
-
FYI: SNF will be announcing the playoff schedule at the end of the Packers/Lions game. I'll try to get it on here (if it's not already posted here). In brief: 2 games Saturday, 3 on Sunday, and 1 on Monday. NBC & FOX get 2, and one each for CBS & ESPN

Meh. At least the Jets lost 7 seasons prior when they actually had something to play for. They also nearly did it then. Needed Rex to knock off his former team
-
San Francisco beats whoever their opponent is, whether it's Green Bay or Seattle. But the best chance at a 7 seed knocking off a 2 seed is if the Seahawks get in. Not your "older cousin" Seahawks but they have had success thank A-ROD vs the Niners
-
I would not be surprised at all if Chicago stays with the Top Pick to take Anderson
-
And Detroit is the 17th team booted. Seattle needs the team they just knocked off to win for them. Got something right that didn't hurt today!
-
OT for Rams/Seahawks. That's probably great news for Detroit and the NFL (LA can't lose though). Dallas travelling to Tampa, who did beat them in Week 1. Niners hosting at least 2 playoff games unless they (somehow) lose to Green Bay the winner of SNF unless both Seattle & Detroit win. Eagles the top seed in the NFC

To each their own. The problem is that it's touch to get attached & root long-term for a lame & boring guy because they don't ever last. Not that I can't root for them (I have), but they all get fired for their failure to meet simple standards in the sport
-
I'm not too thrilled about that being the case, or wasn't in 2001-2002. I think if anything, they'd have wanted the Giants and/or the Jets to win. New England I could get if Roger was the top guy back them, but Paul was the man. What's different between Buffalo and the Pats is that at least the Bills are actually good and have been so for the past couple of years. New England as a garbage team carried into that 2001 season
-
I rather have a guy that doesn't come off as friendly than someone that's lame & boring, while being awful at his job
-
I was just coming to comment on that. I'm not sure why Buffalo & Cincinnati's game, if they both win, is at Orchard Park. That shouldn't be there. It should've come down to a coinflip or just have them play on a neutral field No one fearing Miami because no one is going to face them. The difference between Miami & Pittsburgh is that the former isn't built to dominate in cold weather, while Pittsburgh, a cold weather team, sucks offensively In no one facing the Dolphins, that means nobody other than Buffalo
-
Sorta glad Houston lost the top pick. Gives someone else a chance to draft Bryce Young since going to the Texans would be a failure of a career before the April draft that would precede that career
-
Gotta disagree. Not the same elite Flacco that found away in Denver a decade ago, and Joe has done a ton. Really just a 70 deep pass for a TD or a 70-yard pass interference play. I don't agree because he's had success. If Zach Wilson had started, then the game would've been over at 3:00 Eastern. Well, amazing recovery for Pittsburgh, from 2-6 to 9-8. More on how Jacksonville did something the Steelers didn't do later maybe. Someone said the AFC has to be relieved that the Steelers didn't get in. Completely disagree. No one would've been concerned from the Steelers getting into the dance this year. They've improved, but their offense is super-atrocious. Maybe in future years, but not this year. It would've been yet another rout at PIT's expense So the Steelers travel to Vegas & host New England next season. Their 17th game will be decided following the conclusion of Sunday Night Football

Yep. It's official. Patriots are the 16th and final AFC team booted before the postseason
-
No posts about the Patriots playoff status?!
-
And Gronk does a lot of good things that other people won't. Take care New England. You are never getting the AFC East title back. Revenge for Buffalo is everlasting
-
I know someone who had the TV on mute found it hilarious. That's really all you need to know. FWIW, there's nothing to hate Gronk for
-
Picks are: Tampa, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Miami, Carolina, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Buffalo, Dallas, Green Bay for the Week 18 Regular Season Finale
-
I remember the next day for sure. It was brief; I said I fell asleep while Notre Dame was playing, and the response was pretty much you weren't the only one
-
I'm not going to make the mistake of picking a game super early, but I would not be surprised if Jacksonville beats LA. I don't know if there's anything to change my mind against my Super Bowl pick. That's just in the wild-card round; it's very possible I go off of it after that!

Yeah everyone looks great. Their joy is great to see/hear. Looking forward to the network NFL pregame for FOX, CBS and NBC tomorrow. While several aren't fans of the pregame/studio shows, I am. The crews usually have a ton of perspective. Anyway, I'll be interesting to get their take on Damar, especially now given the trend toward positive. You know people like Nantz/Romo & Tirico/Collinsworth will have some insight. No matter how much you hate someone due to one's NFL alliance, everyone is family in the NFL.

Today (really the recent week or weeks) got off the rails to where I never got around to posting this. They were delayed out of respect to Hamlin (the announcement, not my posting of the news). Right this second, I think Revis and Joe Thomas are in. I think whoever misses had a night shot in 2024 before Eli is eligible. Gotta pick the games for Saturday (since the NFL chose to put Saturday games in January BEFORE playoff action. Raiders & Titans. There you go

That is a fair point. Yes it's 2 different cases, but it is fair. It would've been less likely if Tedy's situation occurred 17 years later or even 10 years. I'm talking about his return from his stroke which wasn't on the field in 2005. It just depends on the person though not completely up to that individual. Bruschi age was 8 years higher than Damar, who is in his second season. Whatever happens, I'm not betting one way or another. Way too soon to tell; I'm just paying attention the how the news is more positive as we move forward.
