With the exception of Patterson and Rich, this season has been tedious, as best. Weller/Remy is tiresome and Zapata seems to be off on her own show. After Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Idgie from Fried Green Tomatoes, the character of Weitz has no gravitas. I miss Roman's plotting.

Probably because Patterson/Rich are actually more proactive than the other characters that have been splintered off into their own uninteresting subplots.

This season was on fire for 5 7/8 episodes, them they killed Nate Sr and it’s been all downhill. I really don’t think they needed another murder and what a terrible reveal with Gabriel being Sam’s kid. So disappointing...

And yes, Billy Brown’s acting was not good

Yeah, it feels more like they have to keep up the body count to live up to the show's title.

If Claudia is really MI6, I think Zapata (if she's undercover) didn't kill her. Probably, she knocked her out with some magic bullets, and told Burke she's MI6 in order to further gain her trust.

It's possible given the way it's playing out.

So for second half, what's the big mystery going to be?  The details of Gabriel?  Zzzzzzzzz.  I couldn't care less.  This actor was so bad as Zende on The Bold and the Beautiful that viewers called him Zzzzzzzzzende.  Maybe he can die in the first episode back and the rest of the half is spent finding out who killed him.

Basically Gabriel and the aftermath of Miller's death and knowing the details behind Nate's dad's death since Miller was about to say something before he got killed.

Also...again...SAM'S DEAD. LET'S MOVE ON FROM HIM. The guy has been rotting in the ground for years now. I'm sick of Sam and his backstory. I just...don't care. I would have rather had him be Michaela's real brother. Since Michaela's adopted, it could have happened. Of course before the hook-up happened, because that's gross.

Agreed, the twist just felt like their way of trying to tie everything together back to the beginning with Sam.

Yeah, except that she willingly went bad with Blake sometime during the summer break.  If she was really deep undercover somebody like Keaton should know about it.

Still don’t really care about her or Reade.

It's like what Reade said, she's gone too deep in, it was a lot easier to handle Blake than Madeline.

Too bad Rich went with the terrorist plot line to Onstar.  If he had said "I've been in a bad accident and I don't know where I am, call the police", at least Onstar would have responded.  That's what their commercials say, anyway.

Yeah, he should've made it more believable to get their attention.

Please someone else tell me that they too found themselves instantly singing "kookaburra sits in the old gum tree" upon seeing this episode's title.  If not, then I am truly old.

I guess it has something to do with whatever the season titles' puzzles is this time around.

"the show did strong business in delayed viewing and on digital platforms, drawing younger viewers, and became a cult favorite."

"Indeed, talks continued over the past few months over ways “to properly bring it to a conclusion,” as Reilly put it in May but there were unsuccessful."

    https://deadline.com/2018/11/good-behavior-canceled-tnt-after-seasons-1202497032/

The second quote makes little sense after the first one. However crap the live ratings (largely their own fault), they still drew the younger audience in delayed viewing and online. Renew it, make a final movie, sell it to Hulu, something! I know that's simplistic, but this makes no sense.

There are so few shows on anymore that I really care about. One less now.

It seems like the talks fell apart hence long wait.

Am beyond disappointed about this, especially given the comment in that article above:

Kevin Reilly: “I don’t see multiple more seasons of it but there could be a way to cap that off for the audience that really loved it. Right now it’s not in the planning stages, but we have talked to the producers. If I can get the real estate and the cash flow going to cap it off properly we’d figure it out.”

Asked by Deadline whether that capping off the series means a movie or a final season, Reilly said, “unclear,” adding that, while there are no immediate plans, the idea is “to properly bring it to a conclusion.”

Liar. I wrote to TNT through their site contact form. If others do, maybe they'll consider a movie.

The long wait was probably already a giveaway, especially since it took about a year.

So did I.  Although I love Sarah Shahi and watched the show because of her, it was a terribly produced show.  Boring and repetitious and not even adding the typical Government abuse of technology plot nor the vindictive ex-boyfriend of Alexis helped.  The show sort of petered out with a lack of direction. The same thing happened with "Extant".

Agreed, these kinds of shows don't last too long.

    Reverie Cancelled at NBC

Nightmarish news for Reverie fans: NBC has cancelled the Sarah Shahi-fronted virtual reality thriller after one season.

Reverie premiered at the end of May to 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, but spent most of its 10-episode freshman run in the 2 million/0.4 range. Among all of this summer’s scripted fare, it ranked fourth (behind Marlon, Shades of Blue and Elementary), while soundly beating the off season’s other big network drama, CBS’ Salvation.

Reverie starred Person of Interest alum Shahi as an ex-hostage negotiator and expert in human behavior who gets recruited by her former boss (24‘s Dennis Haysbert) to help rescue people who have lost themselves in a highly advanced virtual reality system. The supporting cast included Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes, Covert Affairs), Jessica Lu (Awkward) and Kathryn Morris (Cold Case). Mickey Fisher (Extant) was the creator/EP.

    Expected as much.

I'm fine with Roman even as a hallucination. Remy on the other hand is tedious and dumb. However, I shouldn't be surprised because she's the idiot who volunteered/came up with the idiotic plan to do tons of covert research to find government corruption, tattooing Jane with elaborate puzzles about that corruption, and erasing her memory for ummm reasons. The entire plan was needlessly complex and stupid. It also seemed to implicitly acknowledge that though a minority of the government was corrupt and evil, the entire enterprise needed to be destroyed because laziness or inertia. I don't really know.  The show is very very dumb. And I've watched it for 4 seasons. I don't really have a good excuse.

I still like Rich and Patterson and hallucination Roman.

Exactly and it was needlessly convoluted and a lot did go wrong with her losing her memories and everything especially since the FBI has already been breached several times already.

You don't have to be a major foodie to realize that the recipe sounded disgusting. I'm really disappointed with Rich. Heavy cream, lemon juice, and okra? Yuck!!!!

Yeah, he should've realized it from the recipe alone.

Is Weller growing a brain and realizing that Jane has been off for a while? I hope this storyline ends soon. It seems as if Remy is having second thoughts about turning on the FBI.

The syringe was probably a giveaway.

Seems so with Remy, that's probably how they'll resolve it whenever it ends, 'half way through the season?'.

Tasha tried to be tough with Burke and got laughed at.

Yeah, she really shouldn't underestimate someone who literally killed lots of people for power right in front of her.

Did this show already blow their budget on action scenes? We are three episodes in this season. Maybe they are saving it for something spectacular next week.

    Most likely budget cuts.

I really hope so. Remy is tiresome, and so very yesterday. Flying the sandstorm flag when it's all but dead. I do want Remy to meet her daughter too.

By the next episode I hope Patterson realizes what's up with Jane/Remy.

Good to see Rich Dotcom being back. I hope Zapata is full on evil now.

Patterson probably gets close, hence the attack.

  18. 14 hours ago, mommalib said:

Reade need to leave Zapata alone, being underhanded is second nature to her. And they need to end this bad Jane stuff quickly she's already annoying me.

According to the promo, she's already trying to kill Patterson, so it might not drag out the entire season.

I don't remember what happened with Tasha at the end of last season? Did we see her go undercover or is she potentially actually evil now?

The last scene had Tasha and Blake on a plane 'working together' after Blake killed Roman and was about to take over her dad's business.

It just seems like Tasha is undercover yet again, like what she did last season.

Didn't take long to kill off Blake. Good! She is no convincing being an evil character. For all of Tasha's smarts, how did she not sense the poison coming?

It was obvious since Blake wasn't going to carry on as a villain much longer, let alone a full season.

I guess Tasha was more focused on Blake taking over the company, instead she's being roped into yet another undercover mission.

I know it's too much to ask but I wish someone, anyone would have reminded Oliver that it was his fault that Simon got involved in the first place, and that he was ok with using Simon's dreamer status to frame him for a crime he didn't commit.

He's always whining about something, especially Oliver.
