    Shannon loves to be the victim.  She wants everyone to cater to her and feel sorry for her at all times.  She has all of those quack doctors and weird treatments to fill her need for constant attention.  I also think she becomes unhinged and abusive when David doesn’t behave like she wants.  I think this is why he shuts down and used his daughter as a go between.  I don’t think he did the right thing by having the affair and using their daughter, but he seems like someone who is very afraid of the reaction of an abusive person.  I think he is held in emotional and possibly physical blackmail.  He probably has concerns about what would happen if he does leave.  I get the feeling he is hanging in there until the kids are grown and have some choice on whether or not to be around their mother.  Personally, I think he needs to get some professional support and leave now.

     

    From what we have seen of David's mother, it appears he married a version of her. A lot of people marry someone that have similar behaviors of a parent. Not healthy, but very comfortable. I did, and paid the price. Therapy helps, as does ridding oneself of the stress, intense negativity, walking on eggshells, crazy making.  David seems as numb as I was. I liked Shannon her first season, but she is not entertaining to me. I started my own Shannon drinking game (if you don't drink, eating can be used as a replacement) every time she is on camera saying anything close to  "Where's The Food" and/or "I need a drink". She says this alot. I have heartfelt sympathy for those 3 girls.

    After seeing how visually awful Jeana, Gretchen, and Lizzie look combined with the emotional and verbal behavior of the current crop of ho wives, I keep thinking of who would go on one of these shows and how long-term participation changes them.

    Were they disconnected from reality first and it just got worse the longer they are on camera or were they always this bad and we are getting more jaded.

    I kind of get the deterioration of the behavior, but the disfigurement due to excessive procedures is shocking.

    I felt like I was at a 40’s traveling carny during Vicki’s party.

    And I can't say it enuf-lay off the Eddie crap. Jeez Andy, let's follow you around and start "rumors".

    Too much wearing of a 'label' or 'brand' is dumb. I'd be hard-pressed to spend thousands of dollars advertising Gucci or whatever.

    Danielle, cut Mohamed loose. Stop wasting your money getting a warped version of 'revenge' on him. He used you, you used him. He will get his comeuppance. Plus the misery of having being tied to you.

    Anyway, I LOVED this season.  It's definitely my favorite of the 3.  

     

    Pompous ass and his pompous ass wife. And to think they are probably living next to one of us. Hope they are getting their pompous asses checked living in the USA.

They are all pathetic and Luann looks like their Queen. 

     

    This told me all I needed to know about the "real" Luann.

    I'm on the same row boat with you snowwhyte!  I have intermittent thoughts on this season, but can't remember what episodes they were in. Hopefully next time, the thread will be up in time. So much good stuff I'd like to talk about regarding Jorge! . . . and  . . . running the cartel like a "business" . . . the payoffs . . the creepy accountant . . . and Paco's Dancing With The Stars audition.  I guess I will patiently wait, dang it.

    I am 46 and Darcy definitely looks my age with intervention.  I cringed during her scenes.  Us women our age should have more self confidence than others  

    And it's not Botox.  The fillers make her look older and puffy.  Botox just paralyzes facial muscles.   Filler causes the muppet look.

    Watching the Hurricane(s) is more relaxing than this Tom shit. Disappointing to see this many shallow women.  At least they are  in one place, and not in my life.
