Am I the only one who has this problem….when I click on a topic like Small Talk, it takes me to page 1 and then I have to click on the double arrow for last page and then scroll down to get to most recent post? I seem to recall that in the past, when I’d click on a topic, it would automatically take me to the most recent post.

Yes! After peeling, put in an airtight container with some water in it and put in the fridge. I peel them under running water after they’ve cooled off a bit out of the pan.

If you don’t want to mess with boiling the eggs, you could scramble them and stuff those dinner rolls with them for portable brekkie sandwiches. Of course I would add a ton of cheese too! 😛

I learned this method of boiling an egg from Martha Stewart. Place the egg(s) in an empty saucepan and cover the eggs with water. Bring the pan to boil and as soon as it starts boiling, turn off the heat and cover the pan. For hard boiled, let it sit for 11-12 minutes. Then take the eggs out and put them under running cool water to stop the cooking. A peeled boiled egg will last a few days when in a closed contain in some water. This method has never failed me.

What about a boiled egg for brekkie or an egg sandwich? Could easily be made the night before and grabbed on the way out the door.

That’s truly horrendous and inhumane. I’m so angry that I can’t see straight. Isn’t there anyone in charge who can alleviate this situation? It is not unreasonable to demand relief. You are doing a good job and they’d be fools to terminate you. Show your supervisor that screenshot!

It’s no mystery why the previous employee left. Either he died of heatstroke (odds are 60/40) or he got sick of the insane bullish!t and quit (odds are 90/10). Please take care of yourself. I would give you more of my thoughts but I’m so mad at that job that I should just take a step back for a minute.

It is my uneducated, non-medical opinion that you are very dehydrated. I suggest that in addition to water, you drink something like Gatorade to replenish electrolytes. I like Gatorade Zero which has—wait for it—zero sugar! FWIW, I spent the night in the hospital once for drinking too much water and received IVs of potassium chloride. It’s called hyponatremia.

Yes! Didn’t he make some tables recently? Good grief! When you have to rummage around for items, wear work gloves if you have to dig in a pile. I know your hands will be hot in the gloves until said item is discovered but I’m afraid something sharp will rip your hands apart. That’s all you need.

I’m sure you know the symptoms of heatstroke and how it sneaks up on you. Please be careful!

I’m sorry but that sounds horrendous and cruel. Why do you have to sit IN the container? Can you take your own fan? Did the previous employee die of heatstroke?
