  1. I really want Janelle and Meri to have a talk. They've come a long way in their relationship over the course of the show. They'll never be BFFs like Janelle and Christine, but they are able to communicate now. I'm sick of Meri being stuck in the Robyn ghetto.
  2. I want Janelle to say, "Kody started taking testosterone supplements, and that's when he turned into a paranoid dick," but she never would. (I do suspect that's part of what's up with him, though.)
  3. Salsa Brava and Fat Olives are the two restaurants they usually go to. One of the kids (can't remember if it was Gwendlyn or Mykelti) said they were two spots that were receptive to filming and had extra room to accommodate them. Idk about Covid, but they are restaurants at which the parents like to eat (according to whichever kid it was).
  4. Robyn's eyebrows in that opening segment at Meri's are more aggressive than EVER. In the talking head interview, Robyn looks better, and like she may have taken off some weight. Her neck even looks a little better.
  5. I'm 10 minutes or so behind. Robyn went INSIDE Meri's house?! And this is professionally filmed. It's not an iPhone video.
  6. Well, I thought she did sound bad, but your point remains — Robyn was released, and she lived. Regardless, there was no way to know whether you were going to be someone who died of Covid, ended up disabled from Covid, or if you would survive it like a flu and be fine. We didn't have antivirals for Covid then, and I think it was harder to get the monoclonal antibodies (if they were even available then -- between the Covid era making time meaningless for me, and this show running so far behind the current day, I can't sort it all out in my head). Anyhow, it's pretty likely many of us here know people who have died from Covid (our family lost 3). In 2020 and 2021, it wasn't unreasonable to be cautious. It's not unreasonable to be cautious now. What's unreasonable was Kody skipping Ysabel's major surgery, making his children wipe down their mail/groceries for two weeks before visiting for Christmas, and excoriating his wives for visiting their out-of-state children and grandchildren, yet feeling free to travel to officiate at Cletus's wedding. To me, Kody's hypocrisy was so blatant, that everything else pales in comparison. Being worried about your kid who had a nasty case of RSV doesn't seem OTT to me. I saw that you said "has," but I don't think Kody has said the term in a while. It seems to me when he did use it, Ariella was still at an age where the term would reply. Honestly, I think I don't even notice when he uses it anymore, because the fandom uses it so much.
  7. I read your whole post, I just excerpted it above, so that my post wasn't long. I know what you say about parentified Logan is true. That said, I don't think Kody probably even realized how much of the day to day load Logan (and Aspyn!) carried. I don't think he was worried about what would happen, if Logan wasn't there to do that work, because to Kody, that would have been women's work, and he had four "wives." That's my recollection, too. For what it's worth, two of my kids had RSV as little ones (but thankfully they weren't premies or newborns). They were so sick with it. They weren't hospitalized, but a respiratory therapist had to come to the house and teach me how to administer nebulizer treatments, and they also needed oral steroids. Their breathing was just wet and disgusting. It was awful. For years after, anytime they got sick with anything, they would also develop bronchiolitis, and I'd have to give them nebulizer treatments (with Albuterol), and oral steroids. Eventually, the pedi gave us a different kind of med for the nebulizer that had a steroid in it. Anyhow, this is all to say that Sol could be at increased risk from a Covid infection, beyond the normal risk for other healthy little kids. In 2020, I accompanied my youngest to the doctor (he was a young adult) for another issue, but we raised the subject of Covid, and that doctor was more concerned with him (at age 20), because of his RSV history. Also, I've heard Robyn cough with a real bronchial sounding cough on the show before. She and Sol could be legitimately more at risk than other people. Just because Robyn dramatizes, exaggerates, and lies a lot doesn't mean everything she says is untruthful.
  8. The "flavors" conversation from Tony and Mykelti is even weirder than it seems in the episode. In one of her live-streams Mykelti talked about teasing Christine about her Shemar Moore crush and said her mother likes "flavor." And this is not from me, okay, it's from Mykelti. Mykelti was equating Shemar Moore with chocolate ice cream, i.e. he has "flavor" because he is Black. So I think it's quite possible that Mykelti was saying that Tony has dated all races of people (which is fine), but she calls them "flavors," which seems icky to me. Oh, I'm only really waiting for three things in my life: Grandchildren To hit the Power Ball For Janelle and Meri's rings to fall off during the intro Christine is the parent who shoos her kids out the door at 18. That wasn't (historically) Kody's thing. He was trying to convince Logan to live at home while he went to college (but of course, that would have saved Kody money, too), and more recently, he wished Ysabel was staying closer to "home" for college (instead of moving to NC to live with Maddie). Kody wanted Garrison and Gabe to move out during Covid, because (according to Kody) they were not (1) abiding by his Covid rules, and (2) they were lying to him about abiding by Covid rules. At the time Kody referred to the tenders as "tender aged," Ariella was tender aged by most standards (which I've always understood to be five years old, but someone here, who uses the term in a professional capacity said they use it to refer to children age six and under). No, because he's brought it up before. Maybe at the first Christmas in Flagstaff, or at some point early on in Flagstaff, at some sort of family gathering, he said something to Maddie, when she (maybe) implied he was too old to have kids. Kody also referenced his testosterone. He's a headcase. It was so weird and inappropriate. I really felt for Mitch and Tony the most. Nobody wants to hear an in-law (particularly an opposite sex in-law) talk about their sex life. No. Body.
  9. They didn't shoot it on Valentine's Day. They were getting together to make Valentine's decorations ahead of Valentine's Day. I definitely wouldn't want to talk about my mother's sex life, but I'd do that a million times over, before I'd be in a mixed group talking about my mother-in-law's sex life. God bless Tony and Mitch. If I have to pick between Robyn and Jenn, I'll take Jenn, at least for now, as a palate cleanser. I'd really like to see some scenes between Meri and Janelle, though.
  10. Ah right! I knew it was too good to be true. (I had a piece of cheesecake anyhow though).
  11. I just watched live, and I haven't really had time to process yet, but was this a Robyn-free episode? If so, I feel like there should have been cake.
  12. I don't even believe Kody that he wants to get back together. He just wants to say he wants to get back together, on TV.
  13. "I was sprouting poetry"? No Kody. That's herpes.
  14. I know what you mean, and I appreciate it from that angle too, but I really think Janelle should have played completely dumb about the money, and acted like she wasn't even worried about it, while she went to see a lawyer (and maybe hired a forensic accountant).
  15. Damn it. Meri's not even going to get around to telling Robyn in this episode. No offense to Jen. She seems like a true friend to Meri, but I could have done with fewer segments of them in the shed carriage house. The producers suck. EDIT: They just aired a Senokot laxative ad. I'd love to buy a bottle, and send it to Tim Gibbons and Christopher Poole, with a card that reads, "Fellas, shit or get off the pot."
  16. Oh Janelle, you shouldn't have tipped your hand about being worried about your estate. We've got to change the name of her thread.
  17. Right? Aside from it being a clunky name with no flow, it wasn't even a clothing business. So so so so dumb.
  18. Whenever Meri talks about healing her marriage with Kody, I hear Spike in my head.
  19. Asshat could invite Gwen and Savanah to Robyn's. His main conflict was with Garrison and Gabe (and I think Garrison more than Gabe, since Garrison is the one who levied accusations against The Blessed Mother Robyn). If Savanah and/or Gwen didn't want to come, they wouldn't, but he would know he tried.
  20. I wish Janelle had said, "Whoa buddy, you're not that hot."
  21. Don't worry, Kody. You and Robyn are still the main mean girls.
  22. Just like Christine agreeing to divorce counseling. Yeah sure, Kodes. You set it up.
  23. Kody is awfully triggered by the departure of Christine, the woman he never loved, "sacrificed" to love, was never attracted to, and was relieved by the fact that she wanted to end the marriage.
  24. "I have not really missed Kody." So say we all, Janelle.
