  1. Alison had a change of interests, her personality is the same. I've found the Hendrixes dead weight on the show for a while now. I was happy to let them go off to Florida happy and never see them again after ep 3. Donni groppiness will Alison is gross and they always make such a joke out of it too.
  2. Amazing ep. But what happened to the angry islanders who looked ready to storm Westmoreland's house? Seems like they were ready to burn it to the ground last ep. Marion Bowles is apparently dead according to MK. If she doesn't show up I think it's pretty safe to say Charlotte will end up being cared for by Cosima and Delphine. I think she'll be well take care of by them. I think she'd probably annoy the hell out of Alison and she's got two kids already. good to see Van Lier show up again, half of me still thinks me might be the one feeding info to Mrs S. He was willing to shut down Evie when she her plans got out of hand.
  3. I would normally agree with you because I'm a cynic like that. However, they have had so much good publicity and frankly both Eliza and Bob have been very against Bellarke. I think the fans are just a small but rabid fanbase and the GA doesn't really care about a Clarke/Bellamy pairing. If they do a good job with Clarke/Lexa they can get lots of mileage out of that relationship. Plus, Lost Girl and OITNB has shown that it won't turn off many viewers. Having a non-straight main character isn't a death sentence for a show that many network exec feared for many a year.
  4. She signed up to a spin-off of the Walking Dead that hasn't actually confirmed yet so its not confirmed if Lexa survives the season finale or not.
  5. Yes but this show was set in 1960 so regardless of where we was having sex he could be arrested. Of course you are taking greater chances by having sex in a public place but I that kind of meeting wouldn't have been happening as much if not for the pressure put on people to live a "normal" life.
  6. Poor Tony, at least Dr Turner was shown saying that he believe that people should be left just as they are but was constrained by what he could really do. He's clearly miserable and the "treatment" won't help that. I hope Patsy doesn't at any point feel that she requires "treatment" either.
  7. I was impressed that the show managed to slowly clue people into Patsy being gay without hitting us over the head with it, even from the first episode I think people speculated that Patsy was gay. As being gay goes in the 60's I think she's not so badly off. She's got her own career that pays decently and some women dedicate their lives to, avoiding getting married. Her failure to marry wouldn't be questioned too much. Plus it seems that her immediate family are dead so she won't have family pressures there. She's got a friend who seems accepting, understanding and supportive. Plus, she's working with people who may not like it but will probably be mostly tolerant. If the residents of Poplar found out that would be another kettle of fish,...I'm sure the vast majority would not want her as their midwife. I don't think she will tell anyone but Trixie. The more people that know the more dangerous it is for her. Loved Trixie being inspired to stand up to the bigots at the Rose Queen, although I didn't really like her "love the sinner" comment but I don't think she really believes its a sin. I though Delia seemed nice but I was seriously expecting someone less plain and more Trixie like but then again I'm all for shipping Patsy/Trixie. Yes, I know its madness. Also, half of me doesn't want Patsy to have a girlfriend as I think it might be interesting to see a little bit of a lesbian scene from the 60's.
  8. Trixie is the most awesome person on this show. Tom you are not worthy. She organises the Rose Queen, continually shoot down anti-gay comments and delivers a baby in a dysentery ridden hell hole. And she does it all in style. Richard Fleeshman was wonderful in this role, its a tough situation. Its difficult to view the ending as hopeful considering the treatment he will have to go through. I don't think the wife has properly grasped the full effect of the treatment. However, I'm glad he's standing by his wife and caring for his child. Patsy is in a difficult position too but compared to Tony she's pretty lucky that she's found a way to avoid the fake marriage scenario. Nobody would find it overly odd if continued to be an unmarried nurse devoted to her work. Crane doesn't seem to be married.
  9. Cynthia's decision was a little out of the blue, sometimes I feel that the show doesn't have a great investment in showing the personal life of Cynthia because they can't get much mileage out of since they have shown her to not have much interest in romance or dating. It seemed just like a way for the actress to get time off to have a baby. I did really like seeing Trixie's reaction to Cynthia decision. I know some people put it down to Trixie being man-mad, but I don't think that's the case. Trixie just wants people to have a wonderful and exciting life and she feels like that should involve boys and romance. I think her concern that Cynthia is missing out on life was lovely, and she is worried that her lack of experience is some departments means she doesn't really know what she's giving up on. I think the article mentioned about the changing world, well I think the difference between Patsy/Trixie and Cynthia is that they need the world to change and I'm sure they will do their small part to make that happen while Cynthia seems to have an contentment with the way things are. I don't know if upon her return Cynthia will at some point question her decision or find new strength of character from it. Cynthia certainly is an under explored character and they didn't want to invest time in building up to her decision. I feel like some time was devoted to building up to
