Marshall looked like a young Will Smith to me.
For me he's like a Jesse Williams type, big compliment from me. I don't really see or get the Will Smith thing.

She was clearly trying to get a reaction out of him and then she starts crying after because she feels bad that he reacted.
She was so cocky, like, I want these men to fight over me! And then as soon as they did she started crying. 🙄

The politician was hot, but that is one kink I will never understand.
Yeah, I understand Carrie's reactions sometimes, and that was definitely one of them. She was very polite about the whole thing, just not into it!

Maybe because I have spent most of my life in the US and haven't had regular access to lamb, I love the beef cousin cottage pie. In the winter, I make it about once a month and freeze the leftovers for work lunches. I am liberal with the worcestershire sauce, and I always add in the red wine. This is my comfort food.
I like it too. I made it recently and the only thing is I had a bad reaction to Worchestershire sauce (I spoke about this in another thread) and my best deduction is that it has to do with the anchovies. However, there are about a million things people use to sub in for W. sauce instead.

Sure it was - during Jenna's interrogation. Right around the 35-minute mark.
I see.

She left before she got deported. That entire storyline was kind of silly and slapped together. None of that would happen so quickly IRL.
Thank you, so nice of you to respond! I had to watch these episodes "On demand" and they disable rewinding, it's so frustrating!

So to be clear, Simone was deported? Or she left because she knew she would be? It was so abrupt!

So I'm a pretty big fan of this show, and I had no idea it was back until yesterday. I've seen no ads on television or social media or anything. Not good.

I don't know Dale from his previous competition(s), so I have no bias towards him. I thought he was very gracious and had a very good attitude. May simply would not and could not work with him unfortunately.

Why the hell did Fay react like that?! I'm so lost!
Edit: Okay, it's because Anthony said he didn't have those feelings anymore. God, these two are annoying.

Something random. Mena Massoud now has his own show in Canada called "Evolving Vegan", based on his own cookbook.

I had to fast forward through most of this, as it was disgusting. This kind of writing is why Party Down was never among my favourite shows.

Could be because spring is here and people now want to do other things besides watch TV, but the ratings for this episode - and the rest of the franchise last night - were abysmal.
Makes me curious about there still being no word of a renewal yet. The last 3-year renewal dropped in February 2020.
I think people didn't know it was back after the break? I certainly didn't but my DVR catches any new episodes.

He told his aunt how he was making his extra money, and she and Jenna had a good laugh about it.
This is speculation on your part right? Because this wasn't mentioned in the episode, was it?

Annoyed to see Tom’s still got a boner for Buddha. Buddha could serve anything and Tom would rave about it. Luciana’s comment on restaurants in London being crap twelve years ago, as if there haven’t been amazing multicultural options for decades that she doesn’t count as real food, makes me want her gone even more than I already did.
The way I saw it in Buddha's season was that it was Padma who would always defend Buddha, and Tom who was not impressed by him.

I'll have to rewatch - I thought May didn't want to do Scotch eggs, and Dale was insistent on that choice.
Dale wanted fish and chips. May said No, we're doing Scotch eggs. (I have unintentionally double posted with above posts.)

I don't know if I agree. PR never had any problems taking in contestants from all around the world. Talented singers are still going on American Idol. PR started in 2004 - that's a generation ago. Some have aged out of designing and younger people have aged in. There should be more than enough talent to fill one season.
The producers are dragging their heels for some reason that's in the background that we don't know. I don't think a lack of talent is it.

Was Ritchie's disappearance from the show ever explained? I don't watch the re-runs consistently, but when I do, I always try to catch the episode where they might mention that he moved away or something, but it seems there is no such explanation and he just disappeared like Carrie's sister did.
I don't think so, but I could be wrong.
QuoteHe was written out of the show when Larry Romano, the actor who plays the part of Richie, asked to be let out of his contract so he could leave the series as he was offered a role in another sitcom, the NBC-TV series Kristin, which was intended to be a star vehicle for actress Kristin Chenowith, which, unfortunately, for he and the others associated with that show, would only last for six episodes before being cancelled. His final appearance is in "Paint Misbehavin'", his only appearance in Season 3. He could also be briefly seen in the ending montage in the series finale episode, "China Syndrome (Part 2)".

Interesting. I wanted May to stay for the whole competition, but the way I saw the show was that May had very strong ideas and Dale was not allowed any input. She cooks Thai food and that's what the entire dish was. Every time he brought up an issue it seemed like she simply told him no. Also, she made it clear that she was fine with leaving if that was the way it was. She had no regrets or second thoughts about any of her choices. I am not even really seeing how that was a collaboration. Dale was simply there to execute May's vision.
I do agree that the double elimination is stupid and cruel.

I understand that he is a sperm donor. But what do you mean "Pick his"? Aren't sperm donors anonymous? It's not the phone book?
Going further, how would Jenna even know Cooper donated his sperm, and how would she know what bank to go to? Do you really think Cooper would meet up with his aunt regularly and tell her that he was doing that, at what bank he was doing it, and going even further, the aunt would tell her roommate about it? There are so many implausible steps here to make this plot happen.- 9

One of the craziest episodes of SVU. It was entertaining. Twist after twist after twist, whiplash after whiplash. So nuts. 30 minutes in, I was like how the hell are there 30 minutes left? Kinda like "Lifetime".
However,
Let's think about the logic:
1) How the hell would Jenna get her hands on Cooper's sperm?
2) Why would Jenna meet up with (the victim, sorry not sure of her name) knowing the police were already onto her?Let me narrow it down, because I've figured it out. I simply prefer Churlish over Muncy because the actor who plays Churlish is so much better.
Carisi is so hot.

I do like the stuff about how Niles finally comes around to actually starting to tell Daphne what he honestly thinks about her cooking and psychic abilities, which then turns into passionate lovemaking, which results in Niles being shellshocked and happy at the cafe.
I just hate Frasier lecturing Niles for loving her too much. I get that Niles was being a jerk about the therapist, but that's separate to me from simply loving the heck out of her and thinking she's perfect.

I don't really find it to be organic storytelling, considering it was borne out of Jane Leeves's weight gain.
I would have liked to see what storyline they would have come up with instead.

If anyone has watched Season 4,
You will have absolutely zero idea believing the "sleep deprived" claim 😄😄😄
