Note that Deadwood only lasted a couple years and was probably canceled too soon, and Game of Thrones has gone on for eight seasons. I guess in 10 years they could drag everyone back for a movie. But as for now, the actors have said they're ready to move on and do different things, and you can't really blame them.

I did see that some of the fan sites were talking about crowd sourcing a better ending.  I just love the internet.

ETA: in the past few days (here and YouTube), I keep seeing a slightly different "leaked" ending. The one about Sansa being on the throne, Bran rebuilding the Wall, and Jon seeing a spiral in the North. It's weird that up until a few days ago, there were accepted leaked endings and now suddenly, we have a new one?

I know the the actors have been saying multiple endings were filmed.  Maybe this is where they were always going and the leaks were just people being fooled.

I really hope Arya is done killing. I was growing weary of her dead eyes duck lipped super assassin persona, but the interaction with Sandor made it all worthwhile. Do you suppose Bran worged that horse to her?

The interaction with Sandor was interesting for a number of reasons.  Outside of her family she doesn't let people touch her.  Even the Gentry act of putting his hand on her head while kissing her was immediately followed by her pushing him down.  Then she never turns her head to look up at people she just looks up with her eyes.  Not with Brine and not with Sandor.

So when he tells her not to live for revenge she turns her head up to look at him, she lets him touch her, so very different from all of her previous interactions.

I have pretty much the same background (with a few more years), and I did see it coming. I do agree, however, that narcissist is not a correct descriptor for Dany.

Agree on both points.  If you string together all the times she declared herself the only heir to the throne, she said to Jon it was rightfully hers, the number of times she declared she would burn it all down, and finally in this episode Tyrion spent 5 minutes begging her not to do it to stop when the bells rang.  It didn't come out of nowhere.  This is who she is.   This is who she always was.

The girl he was talking too, the little bird, was from the kitchen, I would say he was trying to poison her.

When she fist walked in to the room she looked at Varys and shook her head no before he even spoke.  So I assumed she failed a task.  Once the kitchen worker and Dany not eating started to come out I guessed poison.

think the destructiveness came out of nowhere and her "turn to the dark side" (so to speak) should have been set up better last episode. But I'm not bothered if she isn't the ultimate hero. On the contrary, seeing her waltz into a happy ending would have been boring.

When Tyrion tells her about the bells he is begging her not to destroy KL.  She is making a case for it.  Then Tyrion tells his Jaime when he's freeing him that the life of one dwarf is a good trade for thousands of innocent lives.  So Tyrion thought she was going to burn them all.

I thought of PTSD throughout all of Arya's scenes.

I also thought of CTE.  She got her melon bounced off a wall by one of the dead maybe a week ago?  It's hard to say because Dany wouldn't give her time to recuperate.  During her run through the streets she was out cold in one fall and obviously disoriented when she came out at the end.  And that goes to the actress as well since it was obvious that the character was overwhelmed.

Thanks, hate when I'm away from media.  That's not a pretty face nor is it a happy one.  I remember from the teaser that Davos and John were walking through it together and then Tyrion alone.  This isn't going to end well. (Yes I know I keep saying that)

Sometimes I do wonder if HBO / D and D didn't lean on him to delay publication, thinking it would be better for their ratings/subscriber base.

If it's true that D&D wouldn't sign for 10 seasons and that's why things are rushed right now then it doesn't seem like they have much power at all.  And who wrote that contract that allowed show runner to quit without repercussions.

Am I the only one seeing these things?

Whew, I saw that too.  Did you see the small carved animal like the one that Shireen had?  Or maybe I’m the only seeing that?

I gave her credit for learning from her mistakes.

Totes agree.  She drew the fire of the scorpion, evaded the spear and then took out the device while it was realoading.

    Cersei really overestimated her position.

No, not the NK.  It was about ending the darkness which may have been represented in the form of the NK in the show.   So you maybe be correct.

A lot of the criticism has talked about that point. Arya was never the PTWP so how could you just have her kill the NK?  Now after a week or two I’m thinking. We haven’t seen the PTWP yet.  We have yet to see the person or the path for the prophecy.

If that’s true then it’s too soon to criticize the path to the end game.  We don’t know the end game yet.  And I plan to watch the final episodes thinking that.

Arya killing the NK while Jon was foreshadowed as the possible Prince that was Promised seem to end.  And I'm not opposed to her being the one who killed him.

Did the Red Woman say that the PTWP killed the NK?  Maybe the PTWP is about the throne, the end to war, or something else.

You may be right but I still have to think that what the producers did with the whole NK storyline – – which is basically to screw it into the ground and make nothing out of it – – has to cut into the audience for the prequel.

Unless the last NK was cut down the same way and Bran the Builder built the wall because they knew there would always be a NK.  So there's that.

Bethenny got there at 8 for an 11 pm performance but only planned on staying 2 hours. She had no intention of seeing Lu perform. I don’t blame her one bit.

The time noted was 9:15.  So the fact that she keep saying she needed to leave by 11:15 follows.  So Lu was in hair and make up for 3 hours to sing 2 songs?  She's a joke.  But at least she's getting paid for it.  I really don't know how she can keep up this facade.

Not only is Jon not a true Targaryen but his father Rhaegar never married Lyanna Stark so Jon is also a bastard.

Ok, trying to figure this out.  Have you seen Season 7?  Big finale?

Rhaeger got a quickie annulment and married Lyanna.  So not a bastard.

That's very interesting.  I'd like to read it. The evaluation isn't always given much weight, but, sometimes, it is.  Has the judge made his ruling yet? I haven't seen it in the media.

It was all over PageSix when it was happening.  DailyMail had their usual copy/paste from other sources as well.

So, was this put into court room transcript?  Who revealed it?  Also, normally, Mediator talks are normally not admissible as evidence.

Yes, the same psychologist that they used initially did the follow up and that report was read in court.  The report also indicated that Jason was very angry and that his interaction was anger based.

This is the closest area I could think to post this, but I know people have really soured on this season, but I am still really enjoying it, and am really looking forward to the battle of the Non-Canon Sarah Connors.

Some have soured.  I haven't.  I've watched a lot of conversation about lazy writing etc.  Well Episode 2 got a twitter shout out from Stephen King for gathering all these characters seamlessly in one place and making it look easy.  So I'm in good company.
