I cried. I admit it. Cried when Drogon was so upset over his Mommy. Cried when Brienne put Jaime's deeds in The Book. Cried when the Starks said goodbye.
Cried when Tyrion basically told Jon that he had to kill Dany. Cried when Jon killed Dany. Cried when Drogon cried. It was all very upsetting and I may call in sick tomorrow. I need some alone time.

Gendry was definitely there. I think he was sitting next to Robyn.
Oh and he had the most fabulous new black leather outfit. It looked like new money but that’s to be expected. I was very disappointed in the lack of, let’s call it appeal, of the new king of Dorne. We are talking a real step down here.

Jon is just one of those people that is Eyore. But at least he’ll be in a place where Pooh (Tormund) can remind him of what joy looks like.

Anyone else think Brienne was gonna write, “Survived by his son/daughter”? No? Just me?
Hahaha, thank god. The other people in the room with me thought I was ‘just sick’.

Subtle bit in the end ... notice that most of the Wildings were old men, women and a lot of children. That is exactly what you see in a country ravaged by war.

Arya got what she wanted. Brienne got most of what she wanted. So not just Sansa.

Actually Robin has possibilities. Now someone tell who the dude on the far right was. Pleas?

This whole business model is subscriptions, they don't air commercials for products.
And based on this article the spike and subsequent cancelations are an accepted reality to the Game of Thrones series. So HBO won’t notice the protest cancelations. I’m sure they would like folks to keep paying but they are expecting them to cancel. Just like they have done every other season.

I would just like to say that a lot of issues will be ok with me as long as Yara is the captain of the ship that Arya sails west of Westeros.

Awww, that is a delight to read. Thank you Quinn!
Thanks! I tell you I came away from that very impressed with Joe Dempsie’s thought process and his ability to articulate it. So often I end up disappointed when an actor I enjoy tries to talk.

They knew that Kit was gold in action scenes but not much else.
I got a first hand review of Kit on stage and turns out that it was only D&D that thought he was good for not much else. My friend has seen this particular play about a million times, True West, and declared Harrington one of the best she’s seen. So not sure why we never got that depth on GoT but apparently its there.

Arya's face from the moment he says "you're beautiful" to the end of the proposal is not the reaction of someone rejecting the man himself.
Joe’s take on the scene was pretty much exactly what you said.

Petition is over 900k now... we all know it’s a useless statement, but that must be a record of some sort. Not the award they probably wanted though! Lol!
They are LOLing all the way to the bank. The ratings are great. The publicity that things like this petition garner is priceless. You could do your thesis on how to generate buzz in a viral world based on this season of GoT. It’s exactly what they wanted. And on top of that I bet they still get plenty of Emmys and GGlobes. They’ve popped the champs and are laughing their asses off.

Even if the actors were not pleased with this season, I sincerely doubt they would be pleased with everyone trashing the show, with a fucking petition to redo it. That's their hard work too, and Game of Thrones has made many of their careers.
And they don’t want to burn their future. HBO and D&D will have a long life. An actor wants to work and in this era most would kill for another HBO drama. So I wouldn’t look to an actor for an honest reaction.
Let’s see what the documentary shows us and I don’t mean the actor who is center camera I’ll be watching the people that think they aren’t on camera.

I don't know if that was intentional because Jon/Dany was never the endgame, or if the storyline was just rushed, but I never found their union to be authentic.
Ever since Jon told her he was a Targ I’ve seen the relationship get more and more cold. I wish it had been hotter to begin with then it would make more sense. Maybe it was rushed. Initially she looks at him and declares he would take what’s hers. His look (because apparently Kit isn’t allowed dialogue anymore) is like WTF? Then slowly it ramps up. The look on his face when she called out Gendry at the feast said he thought she was going to behead him. And Davos had the same look. And in the last episodes he actually sounds like Sansa did with Joffrey. You’re my queen. The same way that Sansa would say you’re my king just to stay alive. Not sure if he’s just being stoic or that he’s trying to figure out how to get out of all this.

I think Bran as King is going to go over like a lead balloon. A monotone, one-note character who sits around like a mute until it's time to drop a callback line? Social media is going to be an inferno on Sunday.
Even before the season started there were very good odds on this on the pool/betting websites. I remember thinking they were crazy or just trying to play the odds. Now I don’t wonder but whether someone had inside information.

Minnesota Couple: I’m late I know just catching up on the TiVo. So the husband, who theoretically lives in Minneapolis, says that the house with small bedrooms, limited living space would work because the kids can just go outside. What is he smoking? For at least 5 months of the year there is limited time to be outside without you know freezing to death. It was -25 last winter. You can’t send children out in that weather. And if you do they won’t be having fun and running around those 6 acres.

I noticed the sweater that Dorinda was wearing at Luann’s house. She has worn this before and I couldn’t help but notice that there are moth holes around the neckline, several around the bottom in the back and one on the right side just down from the shoulder.
I have this sweater. Well mine has a different neckline. It's a thing. It's distressed. But I like it because it's so soft, it's like butter.

I’m sorry but all women in this show suffered tons, and half of the men, too. Brienne got it “easier” than most of them.
Well just because of the number of Unsullied we could say more men than women.

She was singing the same fucking song she sang for how many years now the same one Beth has heard how many times? Its not like she didn't show up at all she was there for fucking 3 hours.. I honestly hate Luanne so much this season
Bethenny also tried to point out it was Halloween with an 9 year old. She had trick or treating, probably a costume to school, etc. I think it says a lot of about Lu's parenting style (which we all saw) and Lu's star brain that she couldn't see that sandwiching in a midnight party was an ask.
And Ramona would skip the Victoria Secret red carpet to attend someone else's party? Yeah, right.

S08.E06: The Iron Throne

So Game of Thrones last scene in the last episode was in the same forest that the first scene in the first episode ...
